Working with Avi, the viscious wound had closed right before Sierra's eyes. As the warmth of the healing subsided, Kristian opened his eyes. He looked at the pair of them and smiled though he was still tender. Avi folded his arms," The worst is over. How do you feel?"
" Now I know how a worm on a hook feels." Kristian managed a grin and pulled Sierra close. Avi took the cue and left them alone. The smile faded, " you can stop trembling. I'm okay thanks to you ."
" I'll go have a look. " Dmitri said, and rocketed into the sky and out over the water. Watching him go, Jason shook his head, " He'll never track it down, a shark would be in deep water by now, especially one being controlled if Sierra was right."
"So what do we do then, wait for it to happen again?" Ashley snapped.
" I didn't say I had the answers." Jason snapped back.
" Cut it out!" Avi barked as he appeared in the doorway. " what do you think this is , recess? We have to work together!"
" This coming from the guy who freezes up everytime he has to make a decision." Jason turned on Avi, " Thanks for the advice. How's the patient?"
" Okay. Sierra's tending to him." Avi replied, obviously miffed but keeping it in.

'can't make promises about the trembling .. and i'll keep back the tears, but i'm not the one that saved you ... Avi did more on you than i did. he even had to tell me to help. i wasn't thinking clearly once you were safe. i .. ' *she closes her eyes and stays still beside him and just appreciates him being alive and breathing now.
*trying something new she tries to mimic Alice's telepathy and zero's in on Avi's mind and sends to him even if Kristien forgets it, thank you for saving him then she's gone like a wind as she focuses again on Kristien and making sure he's alright and answering any of his questions with a quiet tone

Alice whistles shrilly to get everyone's attention and says "Stop this both of you! Avi's right, we need to work together and not bicker! Dmitri may not find anything, but it will not hurt anyone for him to try. He's smart enough to not put himself in danger. In the meantime, we can do some research. Maybe there's a part of the beach the shark and the meta like to go on the beach that will help us track them down." To Avi, she says "I'm glad Kristian is going to be all right."

Isamu ignores the bickering and turns to face Alice as she speaks. He says, "How close would someone need to be in order to control an animal? If he was close enough, perhaps the house surveillance will have a glimpse of him."

Alice looks thoughtful as she replies "I'm not sure, but they'd probably have to be pretty close by to keep control." Smiling, she nods "That's a good idea. Let's go and review the surveillance tapes. Maybe we'll get a better look at whoever is controlling the shark."

It was apparent that the arguement had sparked some buried animosity between Avi and Jason, but both of them stopped when Alice yelled at them. Janie led the way to the war room and fired up her console. She quickly brought up the cameras and rewound the ones overlooking the beach to just before the attack.
" There," Jason pointed, " Janie, zoom in on the top quadrant." As she did, a faint dark spot grew to become a head. A fin circled close and then slipped towards the direction of Sierra and Kristian. He wore swim goggles, but his face was easily made out.
" I've seen him before." Ashley said, looking at Jason. " Remember that wierd guy at the Xscape that called himself Mako? He tried to get me to go for a latenight swim."
Jason shrugged," I don't remember all the guys that hit on you." He smirked, looking at Isamu.
" Hey, it's okay." Kristian consoled Sierra," You kept me safe long enough to get me out of the water and to safety. That's all that matters." He pulled her down to his chest and spoke quietly. " Let it out, it won't do you any good to keep it in."

*her eyes shine as she holds back a bit longer, wanting to make her point clear* 'i didn't do anything. i grabbed you and tried to get some of the healling started, but i was mostly trying to keep you away from the shark. it only left when the others came to help. Dimitri and Avi took over and got you here. i wasn't thinking by then. i wasn't sure if i wanted to stay or run until Avi told me he needed help, and even then i had no clue what to do. they did hte work to get you safely inside not me'
*as she snuggles against him and she starts to hiccup a couple of times and then she turns her face so its hidden from view, but the shaking shoulders and the warm wetness on his side lets him know she's releasing her fear and panic so no one else will know she's lost her composure for now.

" I don't know him." Ashley corrected. " I just know he's a regular at the club and he hit on me."
" Sounds to me like you guys are going clubbing tonight then." He shifted his walker's position. " Have fun." he added sourly.
Kristian lay rubbing Sierra's back and holding her close. " Let it out, you'll feel better after. " She could almost see his smile without looking up after a moment," I could chew on your shoulder like Bubba used to if it would make you feel better?"

Alice nods at Ashley and says "Yeah, I guess we'll have to go clubbing. If he's there, we can try to talk to him." She glances at Jason in response to his tone and sighs mentally , hoping he wasn't going to spend most of his time pouting and resolves to talk to him when she gets a chance. "Unless anyone else has another idea?"

Once she sat up, Kristian wiped the tears from Sierra's eyes. He grinned at he wipped at the tearstain on his shirt. As he did, he shifted his feet and his eyes gave away he was instantly in pain but said nothing. " someone has to catch that fish. It has to be the same one behind the other attacks."
" I'll let you folks plan. I gotta go get on the treadmill for a little while." jason said and turned to shuffle out.
Ashley turned to Isamu, " I guess we're going out tonight. If you're nice, I might even dance with you." she teased.
" I better go check on Kristian." Avi said, and left. After a moment. everyone could here Jason and Avi into it again in the hallway. " Oh crap." Janie said as she motioned to a monitor showing the 2nd floor corridor. Jason was rubbing his hand, and Avi was on the floor rubbing his jaw.

*any regained composure she had rapidly deteriorates and the tears start* 'no .. don't move .. i'm not sure ... ' *sh wipes the eyes again as she takes a couple of deep breathes and seems to refocus herself
'do you think its possible to channel the healing energies if i copy Avi? .. i can only do a basic dump the energies in. i don't know where to send it. do you think that will help?'
*she turns her head at the ruckus and then looks back at Kristien. 'i think .. i think i'm probably the best bait. you could ... well i don't know .. its just a thought. sorry, its a bd idea and i'm not thinking clearly ..'

Alice sighs to herself and thinks 'Bloody hell!' She has the feeling that she's supposed to do something about what had just happened between Avi and Jason, but she has no idea what she's supposed to do. She wasn't their mother, so she didn't think yelling at them would help. Leaving the security room, she heads down to where Jason and Avi are and with a tired look on her face she asks "What the bloody hell is going on here?"

Kristian obviously didn't like the idea. " No, absolutely not. You are not going swimming to draw that fish out. I don't care if you can't be hurt or not."
" It was my fault. " Avi answered first with a smirk. " I hit his hand with my face."
Jason snarled, not amused. " You don't have to cover for me." He looked at Alice. " Yes, I hit him. It's between me and Avi. You don't need to worry about it."
" Don't be like that." Avi interjected as he stood up." Jason took something I said the wrong way and took offense to it."
" I don't need you answering for me." Jason snapped. His tone softened as he turned back to Alice. " Can I explain later? Alone?"
