*maybe its the quiet look she gives Alice or the fact that Sierra listens with more than her ears before speaking or blurting out what she normally thinks, that gives pause to the fact that Sierra is thinking more than reacting stupidly.
'have you always been able to do this? .. about 9 years ago i had an accident and i kinda survived. it was when i was recovering that i started to change. so ... i'ld like to know how and when you found out'
*she looks at the sugar bowl and tries to copy what Alice did ... and sadly sends the poor dish into the wall, causing it to shatter and spill the sugar onto the floor. the sudden guilty look she flashes Alice begs her 'don't tell anyone it was me' as her cheeks get red and she simply says ' .. uhm .. oops .. ?'

Alice smiles at Sierra and thinks back 'Don't worry about it' She then goes to get the broom and starts sweeping up the sugar and broken glass that was on the floor. After a minute, she replies in a quiet voice "no, I could not always do it. It started about a year ago. I was mugged, and in a panic I tried to push him away. I guess that triggered the telekinetic powers. It used to be that I could only use them when I was really scared, but Will has been training me how to use them. The other stuff has been new and I'm still trying to understand how to use them." Alice smiles weakly as she puts the broom away after making sure there was no broken glass on the floor and says "I'm still trying to figure stuff out, I guess."

'yeah .. i guess it would be tough. i had to relearn how to touch and hold things. i'm stronger than i look. think i kinda spooked Dimitri. think i'll leave the touchy feely stuff to the others .. it doesn't feel right sometimes .. you know .. ?
'so .. how much can you move about? .. and can you push away someone else with your power? .. ' *realizing she's getting to nosy she winces and bites her lower lip to curb herself from blurting stuff out

"It's good that you're tough. I'm lucky I have the healing power, or I might have died a couple of days ago when I got shot. That was actually how I found out I had healing abilities." Alice replies. Glancing over at Sierra, she adds "It's ok if you have questions, so don't worry about asking them." Thinking it over, she nods "I can push someone away with the power, I've done it before. I don't know how much I can move about, but it seems like I can move a lot."

' .. ah .. okay' *she sips and thinks as her eyes shift to look about as if checking on who's behind her before focusing on Alice once again.
'well its good to have someone helping. i learned to juggle from Uncle To.. Tony. he's doing a starring role in the big top in heaven now. he was a whiz with knives ... anyways, having help really helps. i know i'm not like the others. i guess i was really sheltered growing up, cause i'm really confused about something others know like the backs of their hands'
*she pauses briefly and looks at her hands and grins sheepishly 'can't get lost on mine, go around the fifth scale and .. anyways, if you wanna talk about stuff i might know, i'ld be happy to listen. sides, i think its time to get some dinner started. i know i can do that' *she stands up and moves to the sink before looking back.
'do you know who's supposed to do what in the house? .. i'm used to working and cooking for the troupe was one of my jobs, or at least helping with the meals .. any ideas?'

Alice smiles weakly and replies "I'm still learning a lot of things too, so it's not just you. I grew up thinking I was normal and have only recently discovered that I probably never was." A dark look comes over her face, but is gone quickly as she attempts to smile. "To be honest, I don't know what they do normally, but I'm sure no one would mind if you cooked. I can help by cleaning up since I can't cook very well."

'that sounds like an idea .. wonder what they have? .. or better question .. what everyone likes? ... ' *Sierra moves over to the fridge and opens it and looks inside. first planning to see what is there, and what should be cooked up first
'you got any dislikes when it comes to food? .. and i think that changing your eyes is cool. might be easier than wearing too many clothes in summer. anyways, Kristien suggested i get a wet-suit, so i can enjoy the water and stuff. i'm not so sure, the water looks unreliable and kinda scarey'

Alice shakes her head and replies "I'm not too picky about food, but I must admit I'm not a big fan of really really spicy foods. I like flavour, but super hot foods make me feel sick to my stomach." She tries to think of the others and admits "I'm not really sure, to be honest. No one's mentioned anything they really dislike. Maybe we could make spaghetti. Everyone likes that, and you can puts lots of good stuff in the sauce like veggies and hamburger."
Pausing for a minute, Alice adds "Well, if you can copy my ability, you can make yourself look like you did before you got the scales. I can make myself look like a totally different person, not just change my eye colour. I made myself look exactly like Ashley and no one could tell the difference. I can change my voice too. Will said my grandmother can do it too, and that she used it during the war when she was a spy."

*Sierra looks up at Alice and shrugs* 'not something i cooked often. i think i remember Jason saying that they ate a lot of take out. i think it was him, could have been someone else'
*she grabs a few veggies and sets them on the counter and then looks at some other things. 'copy your powers to look different? .. is that even possible? well i guess so as long as you stay in range, otherwise it reverts to normal'
*she starts chopping some of the veggies and sets them aside in 2 different bowls. 'if you open that can of corn and drain it into the pot here, we can get the salad starting on its marinating. just use some of that Italian dressing, about 1/2 cup should do it. blend it a couple of times while it chills and it should be fine'
*the other bowl she takes to the stove and starts on cooking them and setting them aside to add into the sauce after the meat cooks. she looks and smiles at one of the walls as she senses the guys moving about and talking about stuff. 'i think they're busy .. and wont be in to help. they'll only come in to eat' *she starts in on cooking the meat, intent on her cooking and seems willing to talk with Alice as she remains in the room.

Alice nods as she starts to follow Sierra's directions. "I think it could work," she replies "as long as we were in the same area. It wouldn't hurt to try anyway." As she drains the corn and puts it in the pot, she tries not to obsess too much about how Jason is doing and concentrate on the task at hand. She glances over at where Sierra is looking and wonders if she should be in there as well, but figures if they needed her then they would call for her.
