When Alice arrived at the hospital ( only a few blocks away), the attendants looked at Jason in his exosuit and then at Alice, " Sorry, but you'll have to take him to Mercy General. We don't treat his kind." and they turned their backs to walk back into the hospital.
Wraith cried out, but didn't drop the grenade as he fell. Instead, he fired a blast of his own back at Will (str=17, 17dmg if hit). He looked at Leo, " you just going to stand there like a lump?"
Leo merely looked at Wraith. After a moment, he replied flatly," nope." He ran acrossed the flame circle with both hands morphing into shields and dove through, using the shields to guard his face and upper body.
Wraith looked dumbfounded. " Well that was rude." He turned and through the grenade the other way over the wall. It began spewing gas just before it hit the ground well clear of everyone. He spread his arms ," Okay old man, you've got me. I surrender."
" You'll have to go through the barrier, mon." Kristian replied, " The gas knocked out all our abilities somehow. I just got the door sealed before they pumped it in."
" It's because I'm different. I was hurt really bad after I stepped on a landmine and the same scientists that patched up Avi put me back together too." Kerry explained, seemingly getting better. " They rebuilt me from the inside out. That's why Jason calls me stuff like tincan and what not. Because on the inside, he's not far off."
Sierra could still feel the two other metas somewheres nearby, but nowheres in sight.

' .. oh .. well .. no offense meant to him, but i still think he's a meanie. i don't plan on being in the same room with him anymore, at least not by myself. he's just mean, Jason is'
*Sierra looks about again and then says 'i sense 2 more in the area, their just not getting any closer, but they are nearby. help me keep watch? .. oh .. and how do i use this thing?' *holding up one of the SMG's.
*she winces as she hears Kristien's words and comments ' .. uhh, someone else wanna do the guard thing and i'll give this wall thing a couple of hits. i usually try to watch myself cause i'm stronger than most people .. or i can wait and watch .. '

William pauses for a moment grimacing from the hit. "I'm sorry Wraith, but your time has come and gone." Meanwhile, William looks around, seeing if anyone's coming, yet.
Wordlessly, William flies back into the clinic, getting a loose gun, even if it's from Sierra, though he won't stop to explain why, as he looks like he's in a hurry.
Back outside, he empties the clip and chamber of all but one bullet. Tossing the gun into the middle of flaming circle, he says, "Fast or slow?" And starts shrinking the circle around Wraith.

*Sierra listens as Kerry starts to explain how to operate the weapon, and wordlessly hands over a gun to William as her eyes scan the area and nodding at Kerry's words.
'wonder if i can copy a power that isn't there? .. from the wall i mean .. and melt it? .. ' *said as William streaks away 'just a thought, but i really wonder why those other Meta's haven't moved yet ... '

Alice sighs quietly as the attendants walk back into the hospital and drives as quickly as she can (but takes care to stay at the speed limit) to Mercy General, figuring that would be faster than wasting time arguing with bigoted hospital staff. She whispers to Jason "Just hang on, we'll be there soon." she thinks to herself 'I hope'

Alice recognizes the hospital from Jason's previous stint as she stopped in front of the emergency entrance. She recognizes one of the attendants , and he obviously recognized her as he said," Ma'am, you can't park he...," he glanced in the back seat, and scowled," he isn't going to try to shoot his way out again, is he?"
Wraith looked at the submachine gun, then back up at Will. " I'll take my chances." And his body turned inky black as he slipped into his shadowy form and stepped harmlessly through the flames, screaming in mock pain only to burst into chaotic laughter once he was clear. " I had you going, old man. You can't touch me."
Jane's voice came over the bandadio," Uh, yes, there's an ajoining storage room down the corridor, but you'll have to make your own entrance. There's no door between the two."
" Jas is all mouth, don't worry about him." Kerry said.
" I'll take him." Dmitri said, relieving Sierra of helping Kerry. He shrugged, " If Kristian can't use his powers, I don't know if you can copy them or not."

*Sierra shifts Kerry to Dimitri's support and then frowns. 'oh well, it was just a thought .. ' *she shrugs and then looks down the corridor* 'i'm still sensing a couple other Meta's .. but they aren't moving. so i'll try the wall once before trying making a door in a wall'
*she moves to touch the gem substance to see if she can judge the best place to hit, then closes her hands in a double fist and tries to bring her hands thru the hard substance, grunting with the effort.

Alice shakes her head at the attendant and replies in a weary tone of voice "No, he won't." Glancing over at Jason, she says with a tone of warning in her voice, "Will you?" (assuming he is conscious  ) Getting out of the car, she asks the attendant "Can you please get a wheelchair? His suit isn't working." As she waits for the attendant to come back, she checks on how Jason is doing. If he is awake, she'll ask "How are you feeling?" (tag) |

Jason groaned as he tried to move. " I feel like I just went ten round as Mike Tyson's punching bag. What happened? My suit crap out again? I can't move." He started to sound panicked when he tilted his head forward enough to see his suit was only up to his waist. " Alice! What's going on?" His panic started to multiply.
an orderly came out with a wheelchair, accompanied by the attendant. " The call to the specialists Mr. MacColter arranged as already been made. We'll put him in the isolation ward for now."
Sierra's clubbing of the wall knocked some shards free, and left an impression in the wall, but no hole. Even in his metallic form, Dmitri's shock was all over his face. " Remind me to never make you angry, okay?"
Kerry smirked," I'm just glad she's on our side."

Alice attempts to keep Jason calm as she follows the attendants into the hospital and asks "His paralysis seems to be worse now and he recently had a pretty bad seizure after being hurt. Could that have something to do with his condition?" After a pause she asks "Does that mean he'll be having his surgery now or rather when the specialists arrive?"

" It's not uncommon for that to happen." The attendant replied as he and the orderly put Jason in the chair. " He have to wait for the specialist, and that will not be for at least a couple hours. We'll monitor him until they arrive."
" I'm right here listening." Jason sputtered as they started to roll him into the hospital.

*Sierra looks over the shoulder at Dimitri and then shrugs ' .. uhh .. guess you missed seeing the photo album? .. i'm .. well i learned to be gentle with things. not many could play with Bubba, and we grew up together'
*she steps back and sighs. 'well that will take too long. so where is the side wall to go through? i'm wondering why those other Meta's haven't moved. should i go find out? .. if the place is burning, it might .. i don't want more death's on my mind .. ' *her eyes shine a little with memories.

Alice follows the attendants and replies "I know, sorry Jas. I'm just worried about you." As they head into the hopsital, she tells him "I'm going to call Tyler to let him know what's going on and then I'll come to keep you company, k?"

Isamu shakes his head as he watches Sierra's futile attempts. He makes his way around to the storage room that Janie indicated. He then steps back, and charges the wall hitting it as hard as he can with his shoulder. If that was not enough to get through he will do it again until he gets through.
