Trevor opened his door and looked at Long, his face a twist of emotions. He had done his best at first to control it, but his grief had gotten the best of him as of late. " Yeah, maybe someone should go with me. Thanks Long. I guess this means you'll be going back to the department soon?" When the knock came at the outer door, Trevor looked a bit suprised to see Alice," Uh, sure, come on in, Alice. Long was just telling me the news."
Avi looked at Tom and nodded, " It looks that way, Tom." At the same time, a pair of arms slid around Tom's neck, their touch becoming very familiar as Beth spoke. "I have to go in to the office for a couple hours, okay? I'll be back before dark."
Sara's train of thought was interrupted as something soft caught her in the back of the head. A half eaten roll landed beside her to roll away. She then heard Avi's voice,"Thought you might want that to sop up some of the gravy."Once he could tell she didn't understand, he smirked," You're stewiing over something. Care to share?"

"Oh just thinking about the last few days; getting back with the team, homo-side, and how those two things are related.
"Other than that, not a whole hell of a lot." Sara takes a swig of the beer she was holding and puts it down. She folds her hands behind her head and relaxes under the evening sun.
"Its not a complicated topic. I went off on my own and got into trouble. Wouldn't be the first time that happen." She chuckles lightly.

Deci overhearing what Sara says knows exactly what she meant. Although she does not take the entire blame but that is neither here nor there. Still realizing she is missing her toys (Cellphone) decides she is glad she brought her laptop to this and opens it up to check the email that she was told would be there.

Isamu heads into the room he shared with Ashley to find out if she had finalyzed arrangements with her family, "Ashley, my love, have you spoken with your mother (or whoever she would need to speak to) about our visit?"
He looked much more rested and relaxed than he had the day after they took down Deth.
"I am looking forward to some time away. I still need to speak with Alice about our plans, however I am sure she will understand the need for a respite, after all she has just returned from one of her own," he says sitting down on the edge of the bed.

Stretched out on a lawn-chair, Siobhan watches the others quietly, occasionally taking a sip from her long-island iced tea; still a little envious of how easily the others interact with each other, even though she's become more comfortable living here. Having a beach out back certainly does not hurt!
Sio doesn't say much with regards to the news, but does acknowledge Sara's toast; having had her own legal problems in the past, the speedster understands the relief. "'Grats guys.. I know how it can be to have that sorta thing hovering over your head." Sio does add, sitting up a bit.

Trevor flopped into a chair, looking at ALice, " I don't know how I'm doing. Every time I feel like I might be able to get passed this, I start thinking about Allison and everything stirs up again. I know you and I had our differences when I first met Allison, but is it okay if I stay here for a bit longer, just until I get my head on straight?" He glanced at Long, wondering if he had decided yet.
Beth smiled," I will, it's just I have to turn in some editorials and find a bit of info for one story. You know, boring work stuff. At least there will be lots of people still there this time so no surprises." she chuckled, kissing Tom's forehead before heading inside.
Deci opened her email to find a message from an address she didn't recognize. Opening it, it was to her surprise, a letter from Raig, thanking her for what she had done. It went on to tell her he was safe where he was and with people he knew he could trust to help keep him and his brother safe in case the Brethren went after them. At the end, he admitted he couldn't stop thinking about their time together, and the last line asked ifthere was any chance they might be able to get together some day. It took her a moment thanks to Raig's poor writing skills, but she still figured out that Raig had become sweet on her .
Ashley nodded, throwing her cellphone on the dresser as he entered and wrapping her arms around Isamu and straddling him to sit on his lap. " Alice won't mind, in fact she"ll probably be glad if I'm gone for a couple days to cut down on the drama around here and then she and Jason can get to their planning. I did talk to Dylin, and he can arrange us a flight when we are ready to go. I told him in the morning." She traced a finger down Isamu's chest teasingly. "My mom is actually excited to meet you. Dad is the one you'll have to win over. I guess I can help." She winked.
As Sio and Sara talked , the two of them overheard Jason and Avi talking about the pool table, then the two got up and left, leaving the pair alone.

"I just came up to tell Trevor the news. I figured this might be the right time to go down to the morgue to claim Allison."
Turning back to Trevor, "As for going back to the department, I had not thought that far ahead. I am a bit soured on how quickly my superiors turned on me and thought that I had gone native. But, then again, I do not want to turn my back on Rafa. He really stuck his neck out for us. I could not ask for a better partner."

Deci having seen and read the email really does not know what to make of this new data. As such she stares for a little while at it trying to figure out if she should respond or not, or even how to. She sits there and focuses on the laptop for a little bit trying to think how to respond. Even looking up to look around and in the end decides,
'Dear Randy,
After the time spent down below I would gladly spend some time with you. I do not know when or the likes any of this would be possible considering all that it is, but yes we could hang out.'
Amd then without thinking she hits send, that way she can not second guess herself in the least. Once done she closes the like and returns to observing the party.

Isamu runs his hands up Ashley's legs to her waist and then circles them around her back to hold her. Situations like this used to make him uncomfortable and unsure, not knowing what to do, where to put his hands or what was expected of him, but after so much time with Ashley, these situations have become almost second nature to him.
He smiles at Ashley, "I hope that I can make a good enough first impression on your family. I want them to like me. I want you to be happy. You are my family now."

Alice sits in a chair next to Trevor and says "Of course you can, stay as long as you like." Alice is quiet for a moment and then says, "I'm so sorry I wasn't here earlier. You're right that we had our differences at first, but she helped me learn how to control my abilities and I thought of Allison as a friend. If there's anything I can do to help, let me know."

Trevor looked at Long and offered a fist tap, "I could say the same thing. Never would have got out of that mess if you hadn't decided to blow your cover." He glanced at Alice for a moment," Thanks Alice. I guess all I'm asking is let have some space for now to greive, and some time to stop hurting. Maybe Long's right, once I've really said goodbye it will get easier, but right now if I can't preoccupy myself, Allison is all I can think of, and what I could have done to stop them. And it hurts."
As Beth started to leave, she replied, "I doubt it." She turned as if hearing something else, then nodded to whoever was talking to her inside,then turned back to Tom, " I'm supposed to tell loverboy that he's welcome to join the rest of the men playing pool." She chuckled," Don't let them get you too drunk."
As Deci finished her reply to Raig, she realized folks were starting to drift apart for the evening, with only Siobhan and Sara in conversation and Tom being the only ones left.
"they will." Ashley assured as her continued lower until her gentle grip made her intentions known, " Or we can tell Alice later?" She said , her reply sounding suggestive. At the same time, Isamu felt a trio of symbiotes crossed Ashley's back directly under his grip around her back, causing an unappealing feeling.
