Chapter 68: Now to get outta here! (Team)

Klaxon looked at Sierra, motioning to his ears that he couldn't hear her, but when he saw her winding up the fist, his hands came up defensively. His mouth was going, but she couldn't hear him.

Long could hear Klaxon though," Okay.okay. I give up!" he was pleading I don't know what your saying, you deafened me with my own attack dummy."

Sierra could tell Long was offering to take Klaxon from her, but again had no idea what he was saying. All she could hear was the roaring of deafness in her ears.

Avi took Tailz and began to heal his shoulder like Isamu directed. His voice was extremely mellow as he spoke, distant because of his concentrating, " Tom, can you fashion something to detain them until we can get out of here? shackles or something?"


As Isamu shouted as he opened the hatch, he knew he was wasting his breath. The stairwell was packed with loose dirt encrusted with ice, creating some sort of barricade, clearly put there recently because it wasn't melting in the florida heat.

[Deci]

As Deci pulled Raig clear, his body was limp, and she thought she could feel his heart beating. Both his hands were charred, and the soles of his left boot was mouldering and looked melted. The lights flickered once more and went out as she thought she heard a voice from the stairwell.

As her eyes adjusted, she could see dimly that light was filtering down through her ice. The stairwell door had been opened.

"Dang it. Now they come." Thinking that her captors are now taking the time to come and try something else unpleasant that she may not like. "Come on Randy, I just hope you are not too heavy." She says as she moves him away from the accident and towards a wall so she can protect the both of them.

She does have a blast at her fingertips ready to go.

*she shrugs off the attempted arm, then moves enough to roll Klaxon over and sits on his back and holds his arms behind him. even if she can't hear anyone, she'll simply state 'gimme something to cuff him with . . heck, i'ld be happy with a chunk of freaking metal'

*she's still mad and really put out . . but she's not letting go of her prisoner now. she caught him fair and square . . even using his own power against him. she'll tip the head and try to clear it, but thinks it will be a while before that happens. she's mad and the world knows it now

[Dome]

Isamu looks at the ice/dirt wall in front of him and he thinks, 'I think I found her.'


He looks the wall over and wonders if he draws the dirt out of it, if maybe it will weaken the wall enough to bring it down. He holds his hands up towards the wall, and closes his eyes concentrating on the dirt and tries to pull it out of the wall and form a ball with it.

"I'll see what I can do." Tom tries to gather as much metal as he can to fashion some restraints.

Long holds up his hands in surrender.
"Ok. You have got this."
While Tom collects enough metal together to restrain everybody. Long will leave Sierra and watch over Deth, Tailz, and Sideswipe.

After giving her still-wounded thigh a little rub, Siobhan makes her way over to where Isamu stands, eying the ice barrier. A little frown as she ponders the barrier, then looks to ISamu. "I might b e able to help with this with one of my powers.. but I'm still a little uncertain on how to control it, so I'm a bit wary. I can create a sort of.. shockwave, that can crack stone and wood and such... ice should give it little trouble."

[Dome]

Isamu shakes his head, "a shockwave especially one you are not sure you can control can end up hurting those on the far side," he says still trying to draw out the dirt and rocks.

"If I cannot do what I am attempting we may just simply have to dig our way down, unless we can reach December. She would be able to remove the wall."

[dakota]

Tom was able to round up plenty of metal, in all sorts of sizes and shapes.

As Long watched over the downed Brethren members, Avi reluctantly healed Tailz shoulder enough that he stopped whinning. "You try anything, and I let Long rip it out of the socket and beat you with it, got it?"

Tailz looked at Long, terrified.


As Siobhan and Domey tried to determine the best way to get into the vault passed the ice, another figure landed next to them. Trevor smiled as his flames dissipated, "Might I be of some service, Master Luke?"he asked in a poor See-Threepio impression.


As she watched the faint light through the ice, Deci could feel Raig's body making slight twitches all over. Then the light changed, from a shadow passing the opening. There were people above. Luckily, the dim light was enough to keep the walls from feeling like they were pressing in.

This goes into Deci's mind and she knows she has to protect Raig. As such finishing her wall to protect her and him and giving him a quick check more. Man I wish I knew more first-aid, then I could be of more assistance. But first to defend myself as I can not let what happened to me happen again.

As such she prepares for a blast for the first one through the wall, especially after not knowing who is coming or recognizing any of the voices.

Power blast prepared.

[Dome]

Isamu nods at Trevor, "yes thank you." As the wall melts Isamu thought of why December would make such a thick wall. He thinks, 'she must have been frightened. Who knows what she will do once we get through.'

Thinking this way he begins to yell out, "DECEMBER THIS IS ISAMU, WE ARE HERE TO HELP!"

He will continually yell that as the ice wall keeps thinning until he hears a reply, or the wall collapses enough for him to enter. He does stop momentarily to address Sio and Trevor, "we do not know what would have caused her to take such a defensive measure. I do not believe she was thinking clearly when she left the House. Couple that with being locked up by those people," he says motioning to the Brethren, "and she may not be on a clear mental plain. When the wall comes down, I will go down first. Siobhan, please go to the others and help them stand guard on our prisoners. Please send Avery over, December may need medical attention."

He then goes back to yelling out for deci every several seconds.

Long takes out the two pistols that Avi gave him. Ready in case any prisoners try to make a move.
"How you like me now, bitches? Heh, heh, heh."

Siobhan nods quietly to Isamu (teehee, Domey!) and moves away to give them room, making her way over to the others. A frown is offered to those who had been captured, the wound in her thigh making her feel rather grumpy.

Tom uses the gathered metal to make improvised restraints for the prisoners.

Deci could see a bright flash from up the stairs as Raig moaned in her arms. Over whatever the roaring sound was, she could hear something else, like someone was shouting something. And it was getting louder (need perc roll, 15 or higher to recognize her name)

Avi healed Tailz just enough that it didn't do more damage when Tom cuffed him. He looked at Tom, " You ever think of becoming an artist? Bet you could make money making sculptures. As Siobhan joined them, she suddenly felt the warmth of Avi's healing touch as he stepped behind her, " Now, sit down and relax. Doctor's orders. Hey, anyone seen Kristian?"

Deth was conscious as he stared at Long, bold despite Tom's restraints," Brazen talk, but you're a cop. You don't have what it takes to kill me, boy." He spit on Long.


Trevor continued to use his flamethrower like blast, and asked Isamu between shouts. " So what do we do if she's not happy to see us? You did say she bailed out on the team."
