Deci is still not sure how to respond. He seems to be barring his soul in regards to his apology. She too after hearing that is sadly and silently sobbing. Still she realizes she should say something, "Th-th-that is...ap-p-p-pology accepted."

Isamu starts to step forward, then hesitates as he is unsure what to do, "December I wish I could offer you more than my apology. You deserve more. I do not know what you wish to do now, however I want you to know, I hope you consider staying and working with the team."

"I will consider it all. Right now I just need to get away, maybe get some therapy, maybe a vacation. I don't know. What I really need is help. I will be honest I do not want to go down there, not with what happened. I will be the laughing stock of the group." She says very shakily.

"December, you will not be the laughing stock. I will assure you, anyone who dares will be dealt with," Isamu says. "Aside from that, those who know all the details are very few."
He pauses before continuing, "I wish I could offer you the help that you need, but I cannot. Perhaps MacCoulter can be of assistance in finding someone for you. I will make sure that anything you need is taken care of."

"No they don't, I have a big mouth and had no idea what I said last night, but I should go see my grandmother at the hospital. Which I can and should do today." She says still worried about her and still weirded out by what she saw last night.

Isamu nods, "I understand your concern. I believe though that you would be pleasantly surprised by everyone. Not sure if you would like it or not however I am sure someone will be willing to go with you. I would accompany you however I must begin packing. I am in need of respite from the poor job I am doing as leader. Alice has returned and she will be taking over, although I have not informed of this yet," he says as he realizes he needs to talk to Alice and MacCoulter an almost whimsical smile at his lapse creases his lips momentarily.
"December, I know you said you accepted my apology, however I really want you to know I never wanted any of this to happen to you. I would gladly have exchanged places with you if it kept you from your ordeal. I want you to seriously consider staying with this team. The purpose behind this organization is altruistic regardless of any mismanagement on my part. The choice is yours though," he says. If she looks at him she would be able to tell that he did not get much sleep and is feeling worn out and stressed.

"I will honestly give it thought, but I do need to go do some other things and I really need to take a break and get away. Maybe hawaii and let my family have some alone time. Or Canada. I just really do not know." She says honestly knowing exactly what lack of sleep is like and nightmares.

Isamu smiles at her, "one favor as you travel if I may ask. Consider taking either a phone with you or a radio or the likes, in case you need help, or just someone to talk to. Or in case you are needed here," he says and he steps towards the door.
"I will take my leave now, I do hope you will be all right December. You were incredibly brave and extraordinarily resilient," he says before walking out and closing the door behind him. (unless stopped)
He heads to the room he shares with Ashley and removes his shirt, sitting on the edge of the bed for a moment as he ponders over what he has to do now, including packing, making travel arrangements and talking with Alice and MacCoulter about his plan to get away. As he does though, he begins to fall asleep again, and it isn't long before he is lying sideways on the bed asleep.

It had been four days since MacCollter had departed with Ryne, Janie, Dmitri, Raig and Panek. Life had settled a fair bit as everyone had a chance to get things in order and settled in, giving the new arrivals got aquainted with the more senior members.
Sara got the time she needed to recovered and build their strength up. There had been no signs of Homicide since her beating.
Deci had opportunity to visit with her grandmother and talk to her parents, finding out her grandmother had decided to move into a senior's complex and that her parents had talked things out and were going to give it another try.
Long had opportunity to be there for Deci when she needed to talk, or be there like Ryne had asked him.
Jason had done his best to offer his opinions on the wedding, pushing for a private and casual ceremony on the beach. Alice soon found out her parent's would come, but wanted a properceremony.
Ashley and Isamu had discussed their plans for a getaway, but had not had opportunity to discuss them with Alice yet.
Siobhan found she was fitting in better than she had with the Sentinels, but had yet to figure out who had been watching her on the beach.
Tom and Beth had found their relationship was blossoming, though she was reluctant to talk about herself much. With her help, Tom had managed to get an A- on his report.
No one had seen much of Trevor, only appearing to grab meals and then return to his room.
Around seven PM, while nearly everyone was enjoying a cookout on the deck prepared by Sierra, Avi answered the phone. After a moment, he looked at the others with a wide grin," Okay, thanks Mac." He hung up. " Long, the charges against you and Trevor have been dropped. They just issued an arrest warrant for Rusty and Deth has been charged as well. What's left of the Brethren when they are done won't bother us any more. Raig and Panek turned state's witness and fed prosecuters enough to lock them all up for centuries. Oh, Deci, Mac said check your email tonight, no idea why."

Deci over the next couple of days has been quiet, mopey and depressed. And although she may have discussed with Long a bit still mainly keeps her distance from the rest.
Still being at the BBQ is probably the first time anyone has seen or heard from her since the incident save for those that visited her in the room. As such she has several ups and downs including the getting together again of her parents and the Grandmother moving into a seniors complex, which is out of place considering she is a matron, but also better as now it gives her parents a chance.
Not being able to partake in the meal presented she stays on the sideline.

Sara had set up her area by the deck; a lawn chair she was stretched out on and a plate with a small pile of bones scattered around it. She garnished herself with a shimmering blue scale bikini top and cut off jean shorts to enjoy the evening weather as much as she could. Red meat or poultry, the barbecue really hit the spot for this evenings feeding frenzy. She absently plays with a bottle of beer against her lips, deep in thought.
She had reoriented herself with the team again. She had her old room back and finally got everything settle in. During the last few days of of down time she was able to go back and secure her battle-cycle which some how had remained undamaged when Sara went after Homicide. Having survive and her bike still intact made for a happy cyborg.
Having been back she was still getting refamiliar with everything that had gone done after she ditch the group. Quite a lot had happen and Sara still mentally kick herself for going rogue and not staying. Now knowing that she was going to need help with her ex-partner it behoove Sara to play nice with the team.
She adjusted her hearing to hear the news Avi had from the phone call.
"Looks like another big team success. Congratulations." Sara said, toasting the others with her bottle.

Alice, who had never wanted a big wedding to begin with, likes Jason's idea of a private and casual ceremony on the beach. She tells her parents this as gently as she can.
Alice is glad to hear the charges have been dropped against Trevor. She is worried about him though and all the time he is spending by himself, so she goes up to check on him to see how he is doing. Knocking on his door, Alice asks, "You got a minute, Trevor?"

Long jumps up at this news. "Woohoo! Shi de!!" [Chinese: Yes!!]
Then he calms down a bit at the thought of Trevor and how he seems to be dwelling on Allison.
He goes up to see Trevor. "Hey, Trevor. Got some good news. Our names have been cleared. That means we can go outside without being arrested. Which means this would probably be the appropriate time to take care of some unpleasant business. I thought you might like to go down to the city morgue and claim Allison's body. I can go with you if you like. In fact, if you don't mind, I would kind of like to go with you since I still feel partly responsible."
