" Uh... sure," Kerry replied after a moment, as if sizing Will up. He walked over to a computer terminal and called up a program, then hit a button that turned on the ceiling projector and put the screen's image on the white board at the front of the room. " There you go. I can call up whatever you want, streets, sewer, power grid, you name it. where do you want to start?"

"Streets, with Sewers and Subways overlayed." William says, looking at the display. "We'll looking for the tunnels leading away from where the fight was earlier, as well as the old firehouse."

" You got it." Kerry replied, clicking away on the mouse until the image Will wanted was displayed. He zoomed the image until the firehouse and the fight scene were on the outer edges. The firehouse didn't have any tunnels nearby, but the fightscen on the other hand had several, most of them connected to a main storm drain that led towards the harbor.

Alice can't hide the surprise she feels at Avi's words and smiles softly. "I must admit, it's nice to hear someone not telling me how foolish I was." Alice waves off the remote control, and sits on the couch, saying "I'm ok. I just came inside to relax for a bit." A faint blush appears as she nods "Yeah, I care about him quite a bit. Besides," she adds "I think it was very cowardly of him to go after someone when they're in surgery like that and can't defend themselves."

Isamu says, "I will just build a model for it." He then takes a couple of steps forward and holds his hands over the sand and walls begin to rise in the shape of what looks to be an oriental castle.
"I can only make walls in varying states. I had to carve the designs in myself. He had a crastmen come to make the roof out of wood. He had an easy time since all the walls were raised and in place."

And someone must have shelled out a bucketfull to get him here. He demands a high price. But I could tell you were determined when I showed up by the look on your face. Jason is lucky to have met you, but why did you ever get mixed up in this mess?"
Ashley stared in amazement at Isamu's sculpture. " It's beautiful, and you did it so easily. You're master must have been very pleased with it when you made it." after a moment, she asked. " If you don't mind me asking, did you you want to come here? I mean it sounds like you were happy before you cmae to the States."

Isamu thinks over Ashley's comments for a moment. "Thank you. It was easy to make this one because it was small and made from sand. The original one is much larger and made from stone. I was happy there. When my uncle told me that I was to come to America for school I was excited and nervous. I enjoy learning and was looking forward to the imersion in a new culture. At the same time it was slightly nerve racking. Firstly he justone day made the decision. No explanation. He also told me that I should not use my abilities or martial arts training in public unless absolutely nescessary. He seemed nervous, and anxious to get me here to the states. He never explained why.
"When I first got here it was difficult, but once I was immersed in my studies there was little else that caught my attention. Staying to myself I was able to observe those around me. I learned much about American culture from doing that. Until I ran into William the first time I had no cause to use my abilities here in the states."

Alice chuckles quietly "Most people would say I was really stubborn." she replies with a smirk.
Alice shrugs "I'm not sure, really. There was a commotion by the restaurant where I was eating lunch and when I got curious, I got attacked by police officers and Jason helped me and I helped him when his suit wasn't working. The next thing I knew, I was in the middle of this big mess." Alice's smirk fades as she remembers what she's gone through in the last few days.

" Sounds like one of the more normal pickup routines for Jason from the stories I've heard. Get in trouble with a looker and then end up with her afterwards. Tell me he didn't try the you dropped your dayplanner scam on you too?" Avi grinned, but it faded when he saw the look on Alice's face. " This is the first time I've heard of him trying it since his accident. In fact we had started tormenting him that he wouldn't have the nerve to dip back in the dating pool. Gah, sometimes I've got a big mouth..." He got up and started to get up to leave the room.
" and now look at you, using them to play in the sand to impress a girl," Ashley mused. " Look how you've progressed in a couple of days. By next week you'll be ready to fling rocks at airplanes and create monoliths on busy freeways."

Alice pales a little bit as she nods at Avi "Actually, yes, he did." She says, her face frowning. "That was just a pickup line?" Alice looks a bit hurt 'Maybe Trevor was wrong' she thinks to herself. "I'm guessing he did this all the time before he got hurt," she says quietly. ALice gets up and starts to leave the room, "I need to go find out where I'm going to sleep."

William makes a note of the drains. "OK, now, pull up . (XYZ) Subway station." He says, watching the screen for not only large drainage tunnels, but also where the tunnels are close enough to bore between them.

" I didn't mean to stir the pot Alice," Avi apoligized, " and if it's any comfort, you're all Jas talked about when I checked in on him. If I'd known I'd piss you off , I'd have kept my mouth shut."
Kerry called up the screens Will asked for." Just what are we looking for anyways?" There was a tunnel that ran adjacent to a subway linethat ran from the station.

William looks at Kerry. "Human nature has a few interesting aspects. Ambition, greed, compassion... but, most importantly, the search for the path of least resistance. I am interested in the easiest path from the subway to the scene of the fight. Not just known pipes, but when pipes would be close enough to burrow between them; we are talking about mutants, afterall."

Alice sighs and shakes her head "I just don't like the idea that I was just some girl he picked up for fun." Turning around to face Avi, "and I asked him about why he felt he had to return my address book and he lied to me!" Alice fumes "I've had the worst weekend ever! I got shot and almost died, I got kidnapped and terrorized by a psychotic and haven't slept in almost 2 days and all because some boy decided to steal my address book to try and pick me up." Alice runs her hands through her hair and looks frustrated.
