Alice starts to say something along the lines of 'Of course, I've been sick!' but then she stops and really thinks about the statement. She'd gotten a couple of minor colds, but they had never lasted very long and she had never broken any bones that she knew of. Shaking her head, she says "I've gotten colds, but I've never been seriously sick. My mum said it was because I had such good genes." Alice smirks a little as she puts the bullet back in her pocket.
Alice looks upset as she says "Everything I've known about myself is a lie. Apparantly I've never been human to begin with and who knows what other suprises are going to pop up." Looking up at Will, she asks "Could my grandmother do this too? Is that why I can do it?"

"We need to meet up with your friends. They're expecting you." William evades, heading for Tyler's thunder car. "Come on, people. We have no more time to doddle."

Looking puzzled at William's response, Alice frowns and follows him to Tyler's car. When she catches up with him, she asks "Why did you not answer my question?" She looks up at him looking confused"Could my gran do this too?"

*zigs when she should have zagged .. Maria comes face to face with Ashley and gives a lopsided grin .. 'uhh hi? ' *then knows as Ashley goes to take a look at the rear plate what Maria was up too but before anything is said blurts out 'hey .. Ty didn't seem to mind the first time i did it .. saved us from getting stopped by the cops.. '
*then being torn about leaving or staying now .. looks at Ashley with a lost look 'and tell William i'm sorry i can't help .. i just don't remember anything about what happened .. but now i know that it wasn't just me .. there's dexy .. and me .. and there may be others .. but i don't think he'll ever care. it's not high on the list of things to do for him, it is for me ... and tell Ty i'm really sorry .. but i can't keep holding secrets for him or anyone else'

Alice is confused for a second before she catches sight of her reflection from the car window and is alarmed to see she was walking around with her eyes glowing red. She turns around so her back is facing William as she concentrates on making her eyes brown again. She gets into the car silently, closes her eyes and lets herself rest a bit as she waits for the others to return.

Dexy walked up behind Maria before Ashley could speak and placed a hand on her shoulder. " We'll work on your memory. I'll stick around if for nothing else than to piss off Will. My bike's in the garage, I"ll follow you."
Ashley looked at the plates alteration and smirked. " Nice job by the way. Get in."
The thre arrive at the restaurant a couple minutes late. Alice can see dimitri and JKaney insiede

William gets out of the Camaro as planned. When he does, he turns to Felicia. "You might want to just drive back and talk to Tyler, while there's only a few people there." He says. A quick glance down gives a better impression of what he's worried about.
Without waiting for an answer, since it was up to her, William works his way across the street, to the top of a nearby building, quietly keeping an eye on the café.

*as the hand touches her shoulder and before hearing Dexy's voice, her instincts kick in. Spark's spins about with her fists raised to deck the person and is encase in her new electrical field then it shuts off as the voice and face registers before the energy had a chance to travel the small space to dexy's hand. 'uhhh .. sorry .. habit to protect myself ' .. *backed up by the eyes shifting side to side, checking out the area for dangers before relaxing.
*nods at Ashley 'thanks .. at least someone else liked it .. wont ever make HIM happy .. so i'll just avoid the old fart .. think he's panting after the baby girl there' *motinion to Alice's back with her chin then looks guilty for a moment .. 'i'll be in the back of the truck then .. and Dexy? .. thanks for sticking about. and i'm glad i'm not the only one that this happened too .. god that makes me sound selfish .. ' *sighs as she gets into the back of the vehicle and then slumps out of view .. thinking of a few other things she could say or do that might make a difference in the others surviving to see the next sunrise
*remains silent as they reach their destination, still mainly out of sight except for the top of her cap and eyes looking about. still trying to get comfortable inside the jacket since she gave her shirt away, and wonders if there is anyplace that she can hit a Goodwill Box on the way home without having to explain to a million people and having the creepy grampa breathing down HER neck while she gets one shirt to wear.

"Go inside. Just. go. inside." William whispers from his vantage point watching Alice hesitate. "The longer you are, the more they'll suspect." All the while, he looks for cops cars, agents cars, and people that look like the kinds of people that look for people for other people.

After Ashley outlines the plan, Alice nods and heads inside to meet Dmitri and Jane. She walks up to their table and puts a smile on her face, pretending everything is ok and says "Hi guys! How are you doing?"

" Hi Alice." Janey replied , setting down her shake. " Not like you to be late, what happened?"
" Prehaps she knew the gentleman we met yesterday afternoon better than she is letting on." dimitri added, smirking a bit until Janey elbowed him.
" So what's his name? He's kinda cute." Janey asked, leaning forward on her elbows.
Will heard the Camaro start up after a long delay and it pulled away slowly. It drove out of sight, and a parked sedan he'd been eyeing pulled out behind it. No other parked vehicles gave the impression of surveillance.
Ashley turned around to Maria in the back seat. " You gonna be okay? You're not gonna flip out and try to fry the truck are you?" She asked with a half grin. Dexy's motorcyle came to a halt just behind . She got off and got in th Suburban. " So, am I missing girly talk?"

William sighs. "Can't anything ever be easy?" He flies down to the ground, making his way to the suburban, sticking his head in the window. "I've sent Felicia home, but she has a tail." He says looking between Dexandra and Ashley. "Who wants to make sure it doesn't follow her all the way home?" He glances at Maria for a second, then back to them. "It'll be whoever's associated with Dmitri, which probably means it won't be agents." He says as an afterthought.

Alice smiles apologetically at Jane. "yeah, sorry, I ran into someone I know and we ended up chatting and I lost track of time." Picking up a menu, she blushes a little at Jane and Dmitri's teasing and replies "His name is Jason, and yes he is cute. We're still getting to know each other." Alice clears her throat as she tries to change the subject "So what's good here?"
