" Apparently, Arnold had things planned when you folks walked into his trap. Several of his people ambushed my agents at the same time while they were following up on a lead."
" Arnold?" Trevor looked at Mac oddly.
Mac smiled. " Pardon me, you probably only know Arnold Mears as his alter ego, Wraith." He nodded to a nurse that was beckoning him. " There's a small waiting room off the surgical suite if you want to wait. Now if you'll excuse me..." He strode over to the nurse.

"This was probably done to get us to this point. We are suspicious and nervous and attacking each other. Your enemy Wraith has proven to be a capable tacticion. He expected your moves and made several to match. We must now try to determine what his goal was and where he has taken our friends. Our suspicions must be laid aside. I do not believe we have a choice."

"There is no time for asides." William says to Isamu. "Only to get to the root of the problem."
And, with one last look at Dmitri, he walks of, licks of silver flame trailing along his temples, right past Tyler in the car, all the while with the posture of a man refraining from burning the place down himself. "I have a phone call to make." He will say if anyone asks where he's going, moving debris out of his way as he goes.

"Dimitri you must understand his reasoning. The timing and events do seem suspicious. Wraith was able to get to a place William thought was safe. He outsmarted him. William does not seem to be the type to accept that outcome easily. He must blame someone for what has happened. I think you may only be able to wait and prove your loyalty to him when the time comes."

William emerges from under a pile of rubble with a phone. "It's because you dropped the ball." He says to Dmitri. "Big time. That's why I'm upset. And that's if you didn't let it happen to get Wraith off your back."
And he dials up Mac. "OK. Confession time, pal. Why is an Asian guy who can turn intangible and visiting the mayor's office before the assassination so important?"

Alice turns to Trevor as Mac heads over to the nurse. "I'm going to wait, but if you want to head back to check on the others, that's fine." Alice then heads over to the waiting room, and waits quietly, hoping that Jason will pull through the surgery ok. She tries to read the 2 year old magazines in the waiting room, but finds she is only skimming them and not really reading the words on the pages.

Dimitri seethed at the accusations, but kept his temper in check as he replied to Isamu. " So you agree with him? Can't you see that I have been set up, just like the rest of you?" He threw his arms in the air at Will's statement and turned to walk away, calling out. " Janie, get your things. We're going home."
MacColter answered the call with a surprised tone. " What are you talking about Will? What asian guy? Come to the hospital so we can talk face to face and maybe we can answer some questions for each other."
" Nah, I'll wait with you so I don't have to start cleaning up yet." Trevor smirked as he picked up an old Car&Track magazine. Outside, alice could here a deep voice with an accent similar to dimitri's. " Excuse me nurse. I am told you have a friend of mine here, Jason Dexter?"
"Yes, but he's still in surgery. You'll have to wait." she replied nervously.
Trevor whispered to Alice. " Have a look at the size of this guy. I've seen buses smaller than him."
A reflection on the door's glass showed the mountain of a man in the hallway talking to the nurse.

"Dimitri I did not say that I agree with him. I am saying your former employer, knew how to sow seeds of ditstrust in our group. He is the one that set all of this up. William cannot accept that he was match moved for move, and in the end the battle was won. That is why he is blaming you. If you go, what chance do you thin k you and Jane will have? Regardless of William's feelings I believe you should stay. We need you, and I believe that a small part of you feels you need us, otherwise you would have never stayed in the first place."
Isamu turns and begins to walk away, turning over his shoulder, "do not make a hasty decision in anger than can be harmful to you, or to Jane."
Isamu then heads to the next room and begins to clean the mess that has been made.

William looks over at Dmitri, and, putting the phone to his chest says "This isn't about Wraith and his plans," he raises his voice for Isamu to hear" And I sure as hell wish people would stop implying that!" His voice lowers. "It's about that monster of a bugger that you dropped off here. Looking back, you cannot tell me it was a smart idea. And it was only yours, or someone elses. You don't have anywhere that's safe. Wraith's made that point. You can run and hide. Others have as well, when things haven't been super peachy for them. I didn't stop them, and I won't stop you. But, you want to survive, this is the place for it. You want to believe Isamu that this mess in this building has anything to do with my ego, you can take him with you."
Picking up the phone, he says "I'm findable. Wraith was organized enough to." And he hangs up.

Alice studies the man quietly before turning to Trevor and whispering "Do you know who he is?" Once Trevor answers, she heads over to him and asks in a polite tone of voice "You're a friend of Jasons? Hi, I'm Alice, I'm one of Jason's" she pauses and then says "friends. Who are you?"

"Willl, wai..." Mac replied as the phone was hung up.
"Wraith was never my employer, Isamu. I did not choose to help him, It's more complicated than that." He turned to Will. " I knew the others were waiting for my return just as you had planned, and before I left to bring them here, Felicia and Will had incapacitated my attacker. There is no way he could have led the others here, they had to have already been on their way." He paused a moment, before glaring at Will." How could you possibly think Jane would be safe from that madman here?"
Jane came up behind Dimitri. " Did you call? I was fixing a snack for Ashley and couldn't hear you."
He put his arm around her, still staring at Will. " It depends on what William says."
"No idea." Replied Trevor. " Not sure I want to either."
" My name is Axeli, nice to meet friends of Jason's." The monster of a man replied with a smile that looked force. Off to the side, Alice could see Mac hanging up his phone and doing a double take as he looked in their direction. His eyes got wide as he tried to wave her and Trevor away, pulling his pistol at the same time.

Isamu shakes his head as he hears William's rant. He ignores him and continues working on cleaning up. He has already had enough discussions with William to know futility.
He does turn to Dimitri and says, "There are safety in numbers Dimitri. As to the safety of this house, I agree it is not safe anymore," he turns back to his self appointed work.

"Well, really, Dmitri, it depends on you. If you're willing to own up to a failed gambit, and learn from it, you're welcome to stay." He glances at Isamu then back at Dmitri. "If you willing to think you can make it on your own, go. If you think I'm in this just for the power trip, then get everyone and go. I will not blow smoke up your ass, and I won't give you praise for when you screw up. Just because Tyler and Felicia said they had it handled, didn't make it so."
"I have to meet Control, now. Call Alice or Trevor when Tyler comes through, they will get in touch with me." He says to Isamu or Dmitri.
And he flies out the door.
