William looks at Dmitri. "She will be getting a few, so you should start in the car." William answers in equally soft tones. And then gets in, looking around for any signs of a persuer.

" Hey, you're that old guy from the restaurant." Janey said to Will as she got in. " I knew there was something funny going on."
Ashley coughed back a snicker as she started the car and pulled away, watching her mirror. " I'll take the scenic route in case anyone is watching."
" Why would anyone be watching?" Janey asked. " what's really going on here?"

"Well, first things first." William says, still sounding old for the time being. "I wasn't lieing when I said I knew Alice's grandmother from the war. And she'll be very happy to know Alice has a good taste in friends. And you are quite nervous. Though, there's nothing to be anxious about. If we try anything, Dmitri will protect you, strong lad like him." William says, with a genial chuckle.

After she puts her suitcase in the trunk, and gently closes it, she gets back into the car. Alice shakes her head, "No, no problems. It looks like someone was going through my apartment though." Alice doesn't look happy about this, and she sighs "I don't think they took anything, which is good, I guess." She visable brightens when she hears about Jason. "Would we be able to go and say 'Hi'?" she asks.
As Trevor pulls away from the curb, she adds "Oh, I have a movie I have to return to the video store as well. It's a bit late.. I forgot all about it with everything going on." Alice grins sheepishly

Isamu quietly enters the vehicle and says, "all seems to be quiet. It appears William-san's anxiety was misplaced."
Isamu then just sits quietly looking out the window as they continue driving. He is trying to keep track of their route so he can begin learning the city.

Dimitri nodded at Will's statement. " He's right, but the reason we're going with them is because these people can help us. There's something you should know... I haven't told you everything about me. Some people have been threatening to hurt you unless I did what they asked so they could go where they wanted. They've agreed to help protect you so I can stop doing what they forced me to."
" Why didn't you call the police?" Janey asked, more confused than before.
" Because the police won't help our kind. Janey, we're metas."
She looked in horror at each of them, a terrified look in her eyes.
" 'Fraid not Alice, but Jas will be waiting when we get home." Trevor replied, pulling away from the curb. " Ty said he wants this stuff so we can fix up the firehouse. He also said Jason is pretty heavily sedated because the doctor's were scared of having one of us in their ER. TY said he'll be a while coming to. I think this was just to get us out from under his feet."
He stopped at the video store for Alice before following Isamu's directions to his place, stopping out front and turning off the engine. " I'll wait here again."

Alice looks disapointed at first, but smiles a bit when Trevor tells her Jason will be back soon. After she returns the movie and pays the fine, she gets back into the car and asks Trevor "What exactly are we shopping to get?"
When Trevor stops at Isamu's place, Alice turns to Isamu "Do you want me to come with you, or would you rather go on your own?"

"It does not matter. You may come if you wish, I will only be a few moments."
Isamu then gets out of the vehicle and heads for the apartment building, stopping in the lobby to get his mail and then heading straight up to his apartment. At the door he hesitates wondering if someone else had been in his apartment as they had in Alice's. He then realizes there is nothing he can do if they have been so he opens the door and walks in...

Trevor shrugs. " You saw what we've got. Ty said get what we need to make it homey, whatever that means. I'm assuming furniture and stuff. I think he just wanted to keep us busy and give him some space while Will and Ashley are gone."
" Oh, and he said he's gonna need a shop truck. " He added as they got out of the car. " I hope one of you can drive."
Isamu's apartment showed no signs of entry like Alice's did.

Isamu looks at his sparse apartment as he walks in. He quickly moves around grabbing a douffle bag and carefully picking a few shirts from his drawers as well as some pants he makes sure he grabs his Karate gi. The last thing he grabs from the holder above his bed is his bow staff that his master assigned him when he completed training. He carefully grips the staff by leather hand grips that were added and then heads for the door grabbing his doufle bag along the way. He purposefully leaves his books behind thinking the time has come to focus on thing besides school work.

"Oh yes." Says William to Janey in a mocking tone of voice, as if reading her thoughts. "We're all horrible cagey deceptive animals that aren't tricked into violent acts by peope who want us discredited or blackmailed or extorted to use our powers for militaries or criminals. We're terrible, cruel, spiteful little monsters all on our own. Everyone of us. Oh, and we only hide our powers because we like to scare people, not because we know just how racist the rest of the world is against mutants." He turns around facing front with a sigh. "And you wonder why Dmitri was afraid of telling you what he was. Get a brain, kid." He finsihes, in a more bored voice.

Alice nods "So I guess we'll be getting furniture and dishes and curtains and stuff. I assume we'll be getting a lot of this delivered?" she asks Trevor as they wait for Isamu to return

After grabbing his few things Isamu heads out of the building and directly for Trevor and Alice in the vehicle. He is carrying one duffle bag full of clothes over his shoulder, and his 7' long bow staff in his other hand. He says, "This will fit yes?"

" Uh... " Trevor reached in the back and pulled down the elbow rest to see a ski pocket hole. " Yeah, run it up through." He replied popping the trunk. " Yeah, kinda hard to put furniture in a Charger." He grinned at Alice.
Ashley shook her head. " You're alot of help oldtimer. It's not as bad as you think Jane. We're as human as you are, we just have extra talents."
Jane still looked terrified as she tried to keep her distance for Dimitri. He looked hurt by her reaction. " This changes nothing Jane, it's still me. You know how much I care for you."
" but you could have told me before you had to abduct me for my own good." She replied nervously before her head snapped around to Will. " Does Alice know what you are?"
Ashley hid her smirk as she glanced over at Will and kept driving.
