Unable to communicate with Machine Man without Faux-Ultron noticing, Vision decides to hold his cousel and wait how the scene plays out before taking any action himself.

Aaron taps his foot. "Where's my girlfriend?" 'Ultron' replies. "She is safe. I want my prize." Aaron's hand changes into a gattling gun. "What do you think I am? Fleshy? I do not like being lied to." "Oh, enough of this. Your whole act is tiresome and my onboard sensors tell me Vision is conscious, so let's just get down to it." 'Ultron' beings to change shape, his form flowing like liquid until it reconfigures - in fact, it's not unlike how Machine Man's form changes its limbs.  The figure before you is one the Vision did not anticipate - the Thunderbolt known as Techno! This particular robot was believed destroyed some time ago, and the consciousness of Paul Norbert Ebersol (aka The Fixer) was transfered back into his original body. Clearly, you need to update your files. |

"I knew something was not right when Machine Man proposed exchanging me for Jocasta," Vision says, getting active. "Considering that Ultron created Jocasta to be his wife, and me as a disposeable weapon, he would never do that. I erred in assuming that the notion had developed in Machine Man's alcohol-soaked brain."
Turning intangible, Vision leaps at the Fixer, hoping that by phasing through he can disrupt the villain's electronics.

Techno smiles as Vision attacks. "I was hoping for this." as his body morphs and extends tendrils as though to engulf Vision.
"You were the prize I wanted - the most advanced, longest lasting AI on the planet. I want your secrets, Vision, and you're going to give me them."
Your senses seem to dull as the world goes dark around you....
When you awaken, you find yourself in an environment filled with ciruit patterns, - clearly a virtual environment crafted by Techno.
"And now, it's time to dissect that artificial intellect." The Thunderbolt laughs as he comes into view, his arms formed into buzzsaws.

"Buzzsaws? You are quite correct, Ebersol, in wanting my mind. Your intellect is too limited. Really -- buzzsaws in a virtual environment? How human."
Vision affects what he hopes is a mocking tone, because he knows from the files and conversations with former Thunderbolts that Fixer is rather fond of his robotic existance, and considers himself more machine than man.
In that regard, Vision reflects, he is not entirely unlike Machine Man. Something that he can possibly use to his advantage.
Vision's mind reaches out to the virtual world around him.

CONTACT Vision senses the moment when his mind takes control of the virtual environment. His eyes glow as he turns to the Fixer. "There is nothing wrong with your virtual reality set," he intones. "Do not attempt to adjust the picture. I am controlling transmission. I will control the horizontal. I will control the vertical. I can roll the image, make it flutter. I can change the focus to a soft blur or sharpen it to crystal clarity. I will control all that you see and hear. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind." With that, Vision changes the look and feel of this virutal realm. Being quite aware that Fixer will be most comfortable in a technological environment, he changes that to something else entirely.  |

Vision decides to provide Ebersol with a target:  While Ebersol is confused and essentially out of his mind, Vision attempts to extend his control of this virtual environment -- -- to the point where he can take control of Ebersol's robot body. "You forget, Ebersol -- I am very much at home in virtual environments. You might even say that I am used to living within them. My consciousness is downloaded into the Avengers's mansion's computer when my body is damaged and requires extensive repairs. My computer mind is very well suited to control such environments. Your mind, on the other hand, despite your robot body, is very much human. And therefore limited." Vision handily take control of hte physical form of Techno. Booting up the sensory awareness, he sees through "Techno"'s eyes. He sees that Techno and his own body are fused together at the chest. With Aaron slapping Techno's face.

While he has control of Ebersol's physical form, Vision hacks the cyborg's memory to find out where Jocasta is held.

That done, he programs a recurring infinity loop for Ebersol's consciousness, so that the villain remains trapped in that virtual realm.

Vision programs the loop and manages to determine that Jacosta is being held in a stasis chamber cloaked from all forms of mechanical detection hidden at the peak of the faux Eiffel tower. He is also surprised to realize that Techno isn't the fully transfered consciousness of Ebersol, but a copy of his brain patterns and memories and personality - a true AI like himself.

As the two androids ascend the Eiffel tower, Vision contemplates what the status of the AI Ebersol implies. Other than the real one still being out there somewhere.

Vision finds and opens the tube. Jacosta's eyes light up and her head turns.
"Aaron! Aaron you came!" She runs to embrace Machine Man, who smiles and gives Vision the Thumbs up.
