'you got enough then Michael? .. i'm good otherwise .. dont wanna make you work harder to feed the extra mouths .. makes me wonder tho .. where this building is and if it hooks up to the bootleggers tunnel? .. can always find out another time if i need to. might be able to show you guys some of the easier trails thru the streets, if you had a large map .. where i can see the buildings. easier to show the trails that way. i wanna help get ashley back'
*finishes the tail ends of the food from the plates and takes her half mug of cooling coffee to the other room. -= yeah .. in a fountain. thought it was safe, the park being empty and all. copalmost did what his horse did. horse left a big load on the sidewalk, that was funny, cause it almost fell down because of it =- *replaying the horse rearing up after leaving its offering, when the water exploded upward*
*snickers as she moves along with the others to the living room* 'anyways Mike, i wouldn't worry if they dont like you. i do. thats what's important. someone will have your back, you at least understand why I don't want a thing to do with the B's .. ' *gives a violent shudder at the memory.
'sides .. i'm not sure they will know any of its real unless they intrude on the turf like i did. ... ' *pauses as she enters, and then goes quiet before sitting on the couch to watch the others quietly, judging them from their reactions to her words. -= now here's where it becomes interesting .. who reacts too strongly and high-handedly to that comment .. may have been wrong, but it needed saying =-

"Yeah some fresh air and some clean clothes. So Jason do you know that guy Will? He seems to like to take charge. I was wondering if you've seen him before? Cause he already said he was government. Who says he still aint? He could be planted here by them you know. Try and get us all attached to him then have him trade on us." Eric looks back and forth between Al and Jason "Or.... I have been watchign to many movies... either way I dont trust him."

*frowns and thinks for a bit and then looks up after placing the empty mug on the table for right now*

-= only thing i can think of, is to get these ones to relax, then slip out ... we KNOW they aren't with the Brethren .. but maybe the B's know where these "Control" freakoids are? .. make a small trade? .. i go in and ask, and i'll relay the info to you? =-

" Whatever." Jason replied flatly, keying the remote locks on Felicia's Suburban. As they piled in, Jason started it and drove them to the apartmernt building, stopping a block away. " No obvious surveillance, but let's play it safe. Eric, you go first, we'll follow along shortly unless you signal us otherwise."

After wandering the parking garage, the pair found a subfloor used for maitenance A quick look around discovered that an air duct opening was actually a concealed tunnel entrance. As he began removing the cover, Michael voiced his concerns Are you sure about this? We don't know where to find Ashley, and if the Brethren find us...

*keeping awatch while he does the cover removal .. and once clear .. slips her small form inside to land at the bottom of the shaft 'oh darn .. -= michael? .. get a rope .. this is the older part, no handholds to get up with .. and the lips about a foot out of reach if i jump for it .. not to mention i cleared out the spiderwebs. =-
*then looks about while waiting until he comes back, eyes going wider as she picks up the faint sounds of movement -=oh .. i hate rats .. there's rats down here .. ewww =-
*then fear driving her legs, makes a leap for the bottom lip, and gets it .. and then proceeds to make her way back up* -= its okay .. i'm up .. i just hate rats =-
*rejoins Michael in the sub-basement and bends to replace the grate. 'might as well go back to the others now .. i know enough to avoid the old sections .. dont wanna tromp about down there without better protection .. but the building is in the system. good enough for me for now'

Alice remains quiet during the drive to their apartment building. As Eric heads out, she tells him to be careful. Sensing that Jason isn't feeling very talkative at the moment, she stares quietly out the window.

William does nothing more than clear his throat after Lenny's warning, looking over the boat casually, counting guards, surveillance... anyone that looks like military, cops. As he's walking, he looks to lenny. "I do hope my reputation precedes me." He says casually. "I would hate for Mr. Domicelli to feel he's wasting his time with childish pranks."

*makes sure that the cover is in place, and secure before moving back upstairs. unaware of the webs that festoon her clothes, moves on up the stairs and comments 'well .. that was interesting, mucky but interesting .. and dark. gotta do something about that. it is an old tunnel, that much i know, so its gotta be a partial cave in or something ... ' *going quiet as the approach the door that leads to the others
-= okay .. flashlights .. some easy to carry and eat food .. and something to use for a weapon i guess. thats what we're gonna need. meet back here in 10? .. you get the food, ill find something for light. this is the only way i can think of helping now. no one seems to be really worried, and besides, the others all left to do stuff. we're just scouting .. right? .. =-
*opens the door leading inside, finding it strange to be at ease with someone that speaks in her head, not that it matters. its more a fact of similar backgrounds, and a self knowledge of the streetlife and how to survive out there on your own. enters and then closes the door behind them
'guess we're gonna need some garbage bags and stuff. grab some food .. i'll get some other stuff to clean up .. and see you soon' *then nods at Michael .. and then moves off, stopping to pick up her note book and pen, then heads to the kitchen to check for flashlights or candles or something. knowing that if she has too, she'll use the lighter in her pocket, but isn't very happy about that idea.
*finding a flashlight, grins and then smiles openly when she finds the extra batteries, and then pockets them while grabbing the 'rubber gloves' and 'garbage bags' .. and turns to Michael 'k .. i'm ready ..' *holding up the bags and gloves .. 'you? ..' *then grabs a pack of twist ties as well
*seeing that when he holds up some fruit and other easy to carry food, nods and then with a grin, leads the way back to the front door with all intentions to go back downstairs, and maybe finding a rope in the janatorial section to use in case of trouble
-= aint doing more than seeing what tunnel this leads into =- *as they head back down the stairs* -= that and how used the tunnel it connects to really is .. they haven't been used in years .. i stumbled across them by accident and they were filled with rats and cobwebs then about 2 years ago .. took me about 6 months of hiding to clear them out for easier travel .. but now? .. someone else has discovered them .. and i wanna know who =-

Eric made it to his apartment only to find it had been trashed.
Jason looked at his watch, his tone different, businesslike. " If anyone was watching your place, they'd have followed Eric in. We should be okay now."
[Will]
" Of course I've heard of you Mr. Black," Nilo Domechelli replied before Lenny could, " but my question is why you deemed it necessary to interupt my vacation here with my daughter?" He motioned to Terri, who sat on the edge of the huge yacht's jacuzzi. She looked at Will for a moment, but went back to gossiping with her father's floosies.

I'll be fine, I'm not afraid of getting a little dirty. Michael smirked, shaking his head, following Sparks lead. He pulled the cover nearly closed behind them before following her. After a few metres, he curled up his nose [ i] It smells more like a septic tank than a sewer. And the floors so damned slip...[/i] He lost his balance and fell in a puddle. He tried to get up, but slipped again and fell backwards down a chute in the tunnel wall.
Sparks! His voice trailed away in her mind.

William nodded politely to Terri before turning back to Nilo. When he speaks, his voice is even, clear and very professional. "Mr. Domicelli, if you do, in fact, know who I am, you know that I am not a man to waste time, or mince words. Considering your timing in Miami, this is not purely a vacation, I am willing to suspect, given that I am aware of the majority of goings on in the city of late."
Through his sunglasses, William makes direct eye contact with Nilo, partly to engage his attention, and partly to judge his reaction.
"But, that is not to say that your business is not your own, as mine is mine."
With the introduction complete, William takes a short breath. "The kinds of people taking over this city are far from trustworthy, though they would make it seem they are similar businessmen to yourself. It would be in your best interests to limit ties to these entrepreneurs."

Alice gives no reaction to the change in Jason's tone. She simply nods and gets out of the truck. Without waiting for Jason, she heads towards the apartment building, glancing around to see if anyone is watching or following her.
