Should have set this up here earlier. Put questions or OOC comments here.

I sent Doc a mail a while ago (before Dark Rider shot) and have been waiting for a response which is why I haven't posted yet.

Alright, to settle this in a way that doesn't involve the two PCs shooting each other, I'm stating that Dark Rider shot through one of Scarecrows multiple image illusions (his magic) and now I suggest to both players that they focus on the criminal element that they were so intent on tracking down.

Nightvision (Jens H. Altmann) passed away this Thursday. So I'm suspending this game for a few days. Apologies.

Not that it changes anything since I figured it wouldn't be that easy, but for the record this is the type of grenade The Scarecrow was using: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mk_2_grenade Actually the move I was trying to have him emulate was from a gangster movie, it might have been "Last Man Standing" with Bruce Willis, it's been a while. I've run a few 20s eras games, mostly CoC. Being 1923 means that a lot of things like dynamite, automatic weapons, grenades and other military surplus, and the like are fairly plentiful which is why we have gangsters running around taking over entire cities. Hoover doesn't come into power until 1924 if I remember, and the FBI isn't even founded until 1935, the fact that you have gun running around with guns, grenades, and dynamite is one of the reasons why the formation of federal authorities was justified, and also arguably why they need super heroes/vigilantes. I didn't expect grenades to be *THAT* exotic or hard to replace, but if they are it's no big deal. I figure The Scarecrow would still be trying to use them because it's the only thing he's got that might work. If he uses them all and can't replace them, so be it, RP wise it wouldn't make sense to conserve them with a clear and present objective.

Once Chapter 2 is complete, I will separate everyone (with the exception of Lex and Viv whom I treat as a duo until they tell me otherwise) into a solo chapter. Ideas and suggestions as to what kind of pulp adventure you want your PC to enter are encouraged.

Because why just mash up the Terminator when you can mash up the Terminator and the Superman Mythos and throw a couple more twists in to boot!

Is this like a Watchmen-ish game?

No - it's Pulp heroes in the 20s and 30s vs. criminals...before the supers come...

So costumed heroes without really any powers against criminals?
