"I'm on my way," Atom replies to J'onn. He can't help a grin when he thinks of how Question had to have responded to the same request.

Shayera smirks and rolls her eyes at Vixen. "Thanks so much for your permission." Sighing, Shayera heads over to where John is, doing her best to keep a light neutral smile on her face. "It went fine." she says, unable to supress a smirk. "I told him what to do and he did it." she comments, referring to how much she and John had argued at first when they had tried to split command duties.

Canary smirks. "Well, if you really feel like sitting around and watching me eat, can you at least see about getting me some real food? Preferably Sushi?"
John looks at Shayera. "That's good - you both work together well." he says evenly. "And who knows, maybe Wally will even grow up a bit." He chuckles. "I don't know what the Guardians are up to anymore. Kyle being here makes me nervous. The rest of the Corps has a lot of weird rumors going about - no one understands why the Guardians would pick two Lanterns in a row from Earth. I'm beginning to wonder if I'll need to go to Oa to get the answers." He looks at Shayera. "You've got some knowledge of the Guardians and you're a detective, what do you think?"
Atom arrives in the Watch Hall, and finds J'Onn just as Mr. Terrific relieves him. "Walk with, Professor. I'd like to know more about what happened. I can sense whatever it is is troubling you."

As Atom walks with J'onn, he hesitates. Circumstantial evidence suggests that Waverider is a time traveller, in which case one of the members will betray the League.
Can he trust J'onn?
"I died," he tells the Martian. He tells him everything that happened in the encounter with Waverider.
"Everything points to this," he concludes. "One of us will betray the League. I know it's not me -- I... experienced my death at the traitor's hands. I know it's not Question. He seems to have had a similar experience." Atom sighs. "He's far more paranoid than I, so he probably clammed up because the only one he trusts to resolve this is himself. If that vision was the truth, you might well be the traitor, J'onn." Atom smirks. "There's no risk in telling you this, though. If you're not the one who will betray us, then you need to know. And if you are, well, you're a mindreader. You'd find out what I know anyway, right?"

"I thought you said real food?" Oliver said, ;eaning to give Canary a kiss on the forehead. "Get some rest and I'll see what I can do."
Pausing a moment to make sure Canary had nothing else to say, he headed off in search of something to eat, pausing as he passed Green Lantern and Hawkgirl," Take some lessons from her, and she'll teach you how to keep from getting your tail kicked again." He smirked.

Having left John's room, Kyle watches Atom go off and seems uncertain as to where he should go. He wanders around the tower aimlessly for a bit before he finds himself staring out one of the observatory windows.
After several silent minutes of contemplation, "..Man, I need to preoccupy myself." Kyle heads off to visit the Monitor Room.

"Hmm...a mystery." J'Onn's form shifts and wavers for a few moments.  "I think we should investigate. Research the scientific end, and I'll see if anyone is hiding anything. We'll meet later to discuss possible suspects." Kyle, you enter the Monitor room (aka the Watch hall) where Mr. Terrific is at the monitors. You see Fire and Ice, and they giggle as they see you pass. You even notice Ice blushing.  Green Arrow leaves the infirmary to see a strange man dressed in a fedora and trechcoat walking by (see image above). |

How, Atom ponders for a moment, do you scientifically research the possibility of a hero becoming a world-conquering villain?
Then he sits down at a computer console. He calls up the tachyon signature that initially announced Waverider's appearance and programs a routine that will track this wave signature and alert him if it reappears. Next, he logs onto the library computer, specifically the files on the Justice League's members. Since the league is too big to search every file manually, he writes a little program that searches each of the files for previous instances where a hero went bad, even if that includes mind-control or other external factors. Atom expects that this will result in several false positives, but it will still narrow down the search.
It's still a long shot, however, because the hero who will betray the League might not have precedents in their history. Still, it's a start.
But the reappearance of Waverider is still the only realistic hope of identifying the traitor before they can become a traitor.

As he walks by the two, Kyle stands just a little bit straighter and breaks into a large smirk.
He'll manifest two little cherubs that fly over his shoulder to dazzle the two before fading away.
Walking up to Mr. Terrific, "Anything I can help with? Me and a few of the other leaguers went a few rounds with the General, but I still feel like I need to be doing something. Cabin fever I guess.."
He leans on one of the consoles next to Mr. Terrific, glancing over at Fire and Ice every now and then.

Zips through the mess hall, pausing briefly at each spot to observe, before hitting the serving line and piling on the food, zips over to a table between the groups, begins to eat.

Shayera chuckles at Green Arrow as he passes and says, looking at John with a smirk. "Not that he ever listens to me." When GA is gone, Shayera looks serious as she considers John's question. Part of her didn't want him to leave, but another part of her thought maybe it would be easier if John went to talk to the the Oa. Sometimes it was hard seeing him happy with Jinx, even if Shayera did like her somewhat. After a minute, Shayera answers, "I think if you're feeling uneasy, you should try to find answers to your questions. There must be a reason the both of you are here at the same time." Shayera pauses, "And i think the guardians owe you those answers."

Green Arrow, you see the stranger change shape into the Martian Manhunter. "Apologies Green Arrow, I was simply...nevermind. Is Canary recovering? Can I be of assistance to you?"
Atom, your search lists the following possiblities and files:
-All female League members (due to mind control by Luthor's Legion)
-All founding members except Flash (Justice Lords, Eclipso)
-Superman (manipulation by Darkseid)
-Hawkgirl (conflict of Interest with Thanagar)
-Captain Atom (conflict of interest with US government)
Mr. Terrific ponders Kyle's question. "Nothing planetside, but you could help us fill out our files on Oa and the Corps, if you've got time. Any thing else that would help for our file on you would be good too."
Flash finishes his meal in record time before racing back to the Watch Hall where Fire and Ice are chatting. Fire blows Wally a kiss and winks.
"We'll get to Oa eventually, but I think we need more intel first. Get close to Kyle, see if he knows anything." Jon raises his hands so the back of his head is resting on the palms - it's a habit Shayera recognizes from their time together - he's working out a strategy. "Kilowog told me once that when they were putting Kyle through basic that the Guardians would regularly watch him - that's not procedure. So whatever's going on, he's part of it. See if you can find anything." He shakes his head before saying. "...and thank you, Shayera."

Oliver let out a sigh of releif. " Yes, Canary will be fine I think. Right now she needs to rest. Sorry about that J'onn, I didn't recognize you in the getup. What's with the gumshoe disguise?"
