With only the slightest jolt, the Galaxy docked with the floating East Saint Louis.
Airlock
While they waited, the airlock repressurized to that of the ESL.
"Lower atmosphere. Good news and bad." Tawfeek said. "At least there won't be any rats."
When the light shown green-for-go (someone had gone so far as to write it under the indicator light) the door opened.
"Move out," Tawfeek's said, stepping in first, his pistol at the ready.
On the Galaxy bridge
Foreman heard the exhange (while suited, the boarding team is heard by all, and has an open channel with the Galaxy) in the airlock, as the team boarded the ESL.
His visual scans of the ship showed nothing put of the ordinary. All the windows where there, the spin was normal for a derelict, there were no meteor hits on his side of the ship, meaning it was fairly recent.
However, it looked like the ESL's main cargo doors had been popped (left ajar at odd angles, but not opened all the way.
The ESL Entry
It was creepy quiet. Only emergency running lights were on, with floating dust in the air above the utilitarian deck plates. The sounds of the team breathing in their suits was even more ominous.
(Perception to notice undescribed things)
It certainly looked like an orderly collapse of function.
"They had time to tidy up?" Tawfeek asked conversationally. "Or else it was a skeleton crew." Afte a second, he spoke up again. "Foreman, get me the complete 411 on this ship."

"Unless they have a survival chamber, there's not much need for my medical skills." McKenna said as she looked around

Jessica replies in an almost cold, business-like tone of voice, "Copy that. Moving out." Jessica then starts to move into the East Saint Lois looking around for any signs of movement.

Flip responds "will do captain. Be careful. Looks like someone took a giant can opener to the cargo bay doors, he says before turning to the computer.
He begins to look up The East Saint Louis, while occasionally glancing back to look at the sensor readings for the ship that shouldn't be moving.

Aboard the East Saint Louis
"Better safe than dead." Tawfeek said, matter-of-factly. "Or, better charitable and not."
While Foreman was working away on the ship, the team came to their first door. It was open. Tawfeek motioned Jessica to a cover position.
As she moved, Tawfeek whirled into the entryway, pistol first. "Clear." He said, after a second. "You know, I think we won't stay long - "
There was a banging. Somewhere. Something against something.
On the Galaxy bridge
Foreman's work found the following: the East Saint Louis was a medium-sized cargo hauler, last seen on a supply run to the belt from Earth. It was supposed to be carrying basics, like seeds, food, medicine, etc. Everything needed for a milk run. There was a crew of 12, mixed genders. Some had same last names.
The not-a-comet didn't move.
Foreman heard them pause, but didn't hear why.

McKenna gasped at the banging. The whole rescue mission was starting to creep her out as she followed the other two without a word.

Jessica calmly turns to where the banging had come from and starts to slowly and quietly walk toward it, pistol in hand.

Of the East Saint Louis
Tawfeek watches Jessica turn and head somewhere, wordlessly. "Creepy." Tawfeek said of her, waving the doctor to follow between them.
"I'm not seeing much crew." Tawfeek said. "No signs of a strugle." His light was going over doorways, lightswitches, etc., where a paniced person with bloodied hands might reach. "And yet no mess. Maybe we have a tidy murderer?"

Foremen says to the crew, "not much on the ship boss, just a regular supply run when it went missing. There were 12 souls, maybe a few were family, or at least husbands and wives, same last name. I'm looking to see if I can figure out who the captain was."

McKenna nodded, and quickly moved into line. "Who said anything about murder?" She asked nervously

Ignoring Tawfeek and McKenna, Jessica continues to sweep the area carefully, looking for signs of what could have been causing the banging.

On the East Saint Louis "I didn't mean specifically a murder. Just that if it was, the guy who did it was very clean." Tawfeek said, rubbing his finger on an exposed side-beam. He showed the dust. "Well, no neat freaks. Good."
"Thanks Foreman. Keep an eye out." Tawfeek said after Foreman's message.
Jessica's focused focusing lead her down the hall to the one sealed door. Tawfeek walked over and tapped the door. The tapping stopped, but the sound revealed full atmosphere on the other side.
"Great. We can't open it with the lower atmosphere, here." Tawfeek sighed. "McKenna, you wait here. Tap out a funny story. Stephens, you come with me and we're finding the bridge to change the air pressure in the ship."
On the Galaxy bridge
The Captain's name was Richard Harold Stewart X(the tenth).
The non-comet wasn't moving.

Jessica nods at Tawfeek and contacts Foreman. "Foreman, can you look up the ship blueprints and tells us the location of the bridge, please?"

Foreman listening in to the comms, says, "I will try and pull them up. Not sure if it matters but the Captain's name was Richard Harold Stewart X(the tenth)."[/b]
Knowing that the ship being a commercial ship Flip doubts there will be specific blueprints for this ship, so instead he turns back to the computer and tries to find the blueprints for the ship class that the East Saint Louis falls under.
