"No, they are a little more professional than that." The Senator replied. "I'd be more concerned about one of MacColter's working breakfasts turning into a scuffle."
Siobhan could tell they were headed towards the coastline as Patriot said," Hopefully Jason has changed then as Mac has suggested. Mebbe living on the beach has done him some good."

Siobhan chuckles softly at that last comment. "Usually does. Living on a beach, I mean." she adds in, looking to them once again.. studying Patriot in particular. "Suds, sun and sand does the body and mind good, you know."

They began to pass areas Siobhan recognized well before the driver scowled," Sir, we have a problem."
Behind them, a motorcycle patrolman had just snapped on his lights.
"No time for games. " The senator said.
"But.." Patriot started, but the driver didn't wait for him.
Siobhan suddenly discovered the hoverSUV's advantage as it lifted away from the road and they were skirting along at rooftop level.

Siobhan's eyes go rather wide as the hoverSUV leaves the ground, one hand clinging to the door-handle tightly. Staring down at the road below she shivers, then looks quickly over to the Senator; a frown initially, but it melts to a grin as she chuckles. "I could have used something like this a couple of years back... I take it you arn't worried about people seeing this? Or do you have some sort of.. stealth system built in?"

" No stealth, but they are virtually silent compared to conventional vehicles." The driver said.
Patriot was obviously as amazed as Siobhan. The senator replied," We have a schedule. That officer will make no record of us because, quite simply, how does he report a speeder flew away from him without becoming a laughing stock?" He looked at the driver," Give us some distance and take us back down to the street."
"Yes sir."

Siobhan looks to the Senator, but doesn't comment.. she's not as sure as he is, mostly from having seen the second Harry Potter movie a few times. "Uh.. right." the blonde girl adds in lamely, then shrugs a little before looking back out the window, craning her neck a little to try and get a better view.

within moments, the SUV was merging back into traffic from a side alley that they had descended into. The driver was clearly experienced with the vehicle.
Patriot asked," How long have you been... piloting this this?"
"Oh, we just brought this one from Century Station." The driver said," But I've had about two weeks training prior."
"Good lord" the Senator said under his breath.

Feeling relieved to be back on the ground, and a little queasy from the descent, Siobhan merely sighs as she relaxes back against the seat she is in. Eyes closing, she gives her face a quick rub, particularly along the side of her nose, before resting her hands on her thighs.
"Is the team partaking in any particular task at the moment?" she then asks, looking to Patriot. "Or mission, or whatever you hero-types call these things?"

" Nothing pressing that I'm aware of." Patriot replied with a bit of a grin. " But I beleive Mr. MacColter is overdue with his reports."
"As usual" The senator added.
Siobhan could smell the salt in the air now, the tell tale they were getting close to the coastline. As they entered an upper class area of the city, the driver turned down a side lane that was flanked by the sort of properties Siobhan had dreamt of owning as a child. He slowed at one fenced property and turned up the drive towards a two story house that wasn't as fancy as the others, but still a high end home.
Senator Tarrot sputtered a bit under his breath, " The other teams see this, we're in trouble."
"It's okay, no beaches in Washington to my liking." Patriot said before turning to Siobhan," Welcome to your new home. SLJ's southeast headquarters."

Siobhan gazes out the window, wide-eyed at the properties around them, then whistles as they drive up towards what is now her new home. "This place could easily fit.. five or 6 of my parents home.." she murmurs, half to herself. Excited, the girl squirms a bit in her seat as they draw closer. Patriot's words draw her attention, and she looks to him.
"Does this place have a *beach*??" she asks quickly, immediately envisioning languid afternoons of sunbathing and swimming.

" I assume so. MacColter refers to it as the beachhouse." Patriot replied with a nod.
The driver agreed," Yeah, right on a private beach. Atlas claims it hardly gets used." He pulled up in front of the house and stopped. There were two similar vehicles to the side of the building.
