Pausing at the exit hatch of the Lear, Siobhan draws in a deep breath before stepping off, raising a hand to shield her eyes from the sun and looking around before descending. Once at the bottom of the stairway she eyes the SUV curiously, then heads towards it, assuming that it is there for the three of them.

A closer looke at the SUV revealed what was odd about it.It had no wheels, instead floating just off the ground. A driver opened the door for the three, " The latest in transportation from Century Station. Good to see you, Senator."
Senator Tarrot gruffed," Now I know what MacColter needed the approval to purchase."
" I'm sure the director can justify them." Patriot said respectfully as he offered to let Siobhan in first. " Ladies first."

Siobhan cannot help but stare for a long moment at the hovering vehicle; while familiar with the concept of hovering vehicles in fiction... never had she expected to see one in real life like this.
"What.. how.." she mumbles, at a loss for words. Patriots indirect prompting, however, draws her attention back to reality. With a nervous nod, she steps forward then enters the vehicle, offering a thank you to Patriot, settling into place before squirming a bit to get comfortable.
Waiting for the rest of the people to get settled, she then asks, "How does it... er.. hover like that?"

" Small anti-gravity devices on the bottom allow it to hover or idle along, but the big engine in the back has to engage to get any sort of speed out of it." The driver replied.
"Are you one of MacColter's people?" The senator asked.
"No sir. I'm just a driver. Sopposed to shuttle you from the jetport to the Director's operations command, and then take into custody some teen who had a killer robot and deliver her to jeuvenile rehabilitation."
Patriot spoke up," Just how many operations does MacColter have on the go at one time?"
"You'll have to ask him yourself." The senator replied

Killer Robot? Anti-gravity device? What exactly have I gotten myself into? Siobhan thinks to herself as she tries to relax. The odd 'gait' of the hovering vehicle leaves her a little unsettled however. Shifting a little in her seat, she leans forward, addressing the driver.
"How fast can this thing get up to?"

" No idea, but it's registered for 220." The driver said.
"Don't get any ideas." Patriot suggested.

A soft laugh escapes Sioban at Patriot's cautionary words. "Alright. I suppose it wouldn't do to embarrass cutting edge technology, would it?" she then adds, her tone playfully teasing.

"Speeds like that are for open areas, not the confines of busy city like Miami." Patriot replied.
"How many of these does MacColter have?" The senator asked.
The driver replied," This is the first one, but I think two more are arriving in the morning."
"Better be worth it." Talbot sputtered," That's half his budget gone."

Siobhan winks to Patriot. "I wouldn't go full-out in a city anyways... too dangerous, for me and those around me." she replies, then tilts her head, looking to the driver. "Forgive my asking, but... err... a hovering vehicle isn't exactly subtle. Does that cause any problems?"

" I know Mr. MacColter has several vechicles on site, mostly belonging to his people, " the driver explained," but he wanted something for them to use in an official capacity. and these will get them wherever they have to go. As long as I cruise along at ground level, they pass for a normal vehicle without close inspection. It's not until I take it up from ground level that they get conspicuous."
"Let's not, shall we?" Senator Talbot suggested.
Patriot rubbed his chin," Might make a good addition to all teams."
The senator groaned slightly.

A slow nod to that, not really sure how someone could miss a *hovering* vehicle, but not really up to arguing the pint. Instead, she offers Patriot what she hopes is a confident smile, then settles back in her seat for the ride, lost in thought.

They had been driving for some time when Patriot broke the silence. " You're arm is worse that you let on, isn't it? every time we go around a corner, you wince and hold it." His concern was clearly genuine. " Do you need us to stop at a hospital to have it looked at?"

A startled blink, Siobhan looks up to Patriot, then down at her arm. "I should be fine, sir.... it's probably just a really deep bruise." the blonde replies, holding up her arm to show him. "It got hit pretty hard, but I can still use it." she adds. It hurts quite a bit more than she's willing to admit to, however.
"How long until we get there?" Siobhan then suddenly asks, blushing a little bit.

The Senator turned to look at Siobhan and then Patriot, his eyes narrowed curiously before turning back forward. Though no one had said it outright, Siobhan has heard enough bits and pieces to put together that Patriot was the Senator's son (particularly from Minuteman's sputtering), and without his cowled costume on, Siobhan could see the resemblance. The Senator said," MacColter's team has a healer. We can have Claymore look at it."
"Avi is on his team?" Patriot asked.
" He is. and to make things interesting, so is Firefight." The senator nodded.
"Oh good lord." Patriot scoffed and looked at Siobhan," You are in for an interesting experience. Those two are like oil and water 99% of the time."

At the last comment Siobhan raises her brows a bit, looking between Patriot and the Senator. "I hope that won't cause too many problems... I'd be a little bit worried about an argument breaking out in the middle of a fight." she muses, thinking back briefly to a similar situation she witnessed during a gang-fight.
While awaiting comment, Siobhan shifts a little in her seat, then turns her gaze out the window to watch the passing scenere... curious about where they might be headed, and trying to get her bearings now that she is back home.
