(Avery and Rex)
The gangsters turn and see Avery charging towards them with a gun. They back off. "You really want to help a chink? Somethin' wrong with yous?"
(Steel Fist)
You make your way to the barns, and two scents clash in your brain - distilled alcohol, and gasoline.
(Scarecrow, Vivian and Dark Rider)
Scarecrow, you can tell the masked cowboy is serious, and the lady with the bow and arrow could do you harm.
Dark Rider, you know you don't want to be wasting time with...whatever this is when the guys you are after are so close.
Vivian, there is something familiar about this Scarecrow, but you can't quite place it.

"Outgunned?" The Scarecrow laughs wickedly as if he thinks that is the funniest thing in the world. "If you only knew". "Time is wasting, if your so confident, by all means don't allow me to stand in your way". The Scarecrow does indeed put his gun away but has he does three images of him appear (Multiple Image). They all however step aside and give a courtly, exagerrated bow and gesture towards the building. The Scarecrow is actually quite confident of the abillity of his armor of Ithan to take a few bullets and even explosive arrows if need be. For obvious reasons he has no desire to entirely back down, but feels the longer this goes on the better a chance of the target becoming aware they are under attack. Whether true or not he feels he could easily handle The Cowboy and "Barb" but doesn't want to spend the energy on doing something like castibng Swords To Snakes on their weapons since he might need that energy for the actual bad guys rather than other vigilantes who seem to be largely after the same thing. If they don't make a further move on him, he isn't going to do anything else for the moment except let the past and look creepy.

The smell of shine brewing made Lex lick his lips as he thought a drink would go good after this mess was done. Looking back for any of the guards that had passed him (perc) [dice=20] , he waited another moment or two before starting towards the barns as quietly as he could (prowl) [dice=100][rand=51707806185765944709873988906899756327770613098435283764699793203]

I don't have time for this.
"Awright, Mister," the Rider snarles. This burlap-bag guy rubs him wrong in every way, and he hasn't forgotten that he has one new partner left who might need help. "This is how it's going down. We can't afford to have you at our backs. 'Cause, you know, there's no tellin' whose side you're on and what you're gonna do, and you don't strike me like a stand-up guy. So you got two choices: you can drop your gun, right now, and walk away. Or..." He straightens his right arm, shifting his Peacemaker's aim from the chest to the head. "... I drop you right where you stand, and you'll never walk again. What'll it be?"

Vivian continues to stand there quietly waiting for the weird stranger to answer DR, ready to shoot if she needs to. She definitely wasn't going to turn her back to this guy given she had no reason to trust him. "You'll want to do what he says, Mister." she says quietly.

You come up on two barns - the one to your right has about 3 guards who you don't think have noticed you yet - the one on the left smells more richly of vehicle fumes, and is far noiser, so it should mask your approach.
(Viv, DR, and Scarecrow)
You all hear the sounds of gunmen approaching!

What is all the racket? not a still like I've ever heard tell of, more like a garage or something Lex thought to himself as he continued to approach the louder of the two barns. He approached out of view of the guards best he could while looking for a window to peek in. At the same time, he thought Where are those two kids? If Rider has Vivian in trouble... his thoughts trailed as he neared a vantage point.

The Dark Rider makes a face. The approaching gunmen make the decision for him.
"Time's up," he says as he shoots the burlap-masked man in the face from both revolvers.

[dice=20+11] Initiative
Mr. Colt sighs seeing Avery charge forward, gun in hand, shakes his head, and promptly follows. Hearing the comment from the gangster, Mr. Colt's eyes narrow behind the stylish welder goggles. "You're stirring up a hornet's nest gentlemen. I'd advise you to leave as quickly as you arrived."
In Chinese, says calmly, "We're here to help. Don't worry about these two, though I do apologize for their rudeness."[rand=42268308120612674434158039271341566654885927830783960663943353874]

(Dark Rider, Scarecrow, Vivian)
Scarecrow, roll dodge. Dark Rider, roll strike for your shot.
Vivian, you can see at least 6 gunmen on the way in, but they haven't noticed you yet. You figure you'll have one, maybe two shots before they can track you in - and Dark Rider and the man in burlap aren't helping anyone right now.
(Steel Fist)
Steel, you see that sleek looking car from this morning parked in the barn - there's enough tools, armor, weapons and equipment to have equiped your entire platoon back in the War. At the center of the room, you see a small, pudgy man directing others as they are mounting a large gun onto the car.
(Rex and Avery)
[dice=20] (init)
The goons draw their own pistols. Rex and Avery, you may take your actions.

Avery aims for a disabling strike against the closest goons gun arm. Hoping to quickly shut this fight down he also hits the other goon with Intimidation from Empathic Transmission.

What in the heck are they doing? Lex thought to himself as he watched them mounting the gun. He looked for a way to try to slip into the barn (perc [dice=20] ) and then started towards it, thumbing the safety off on his Tommy Trencher and letting it's barrel lead the way while thinking, Vivian, where ever you and your new friend are, you better come running when the party starts [rand=28935121182636436636125598492376690366929395102709984877807589831]

Doc, I'm still waiting for a response to the mail I sent. Scarecrow cast a multiple image spell for example, is Dark Rider even pointing his gun at the right image?
Any way it goes, Scarecrow chooses not to dodge and opts to perform a simultaneous attack and shoots Dark Rider in the head as well, seeing as even with two revolvers the odds of him depleting Armor Of Ithan (130 SDC) is minimal even if he penetrates the AR. My delays in posting have largely been waiting for GM responses, and things like other characters rolling their saving throws since I made intent rather clear. When Dark Rider adjusted the aim of his gun and made a threat, multiple image was a response action which requires a saving throw at -6 (according to spell description). I also inquired if in a non-powered setting this was going to require a horror factor check since unlike other settings this is well outside the experiences of the other characters involved. Kind of irrelevent and I tried to ask about this OOCly/privatly as previous requested and agree or disagree I have yet received no response.
At any rate Dark Rider has initiative for sure (Scarecrow would let him have the first shot before killing him anyway since he had cast Armor before even running into him) when he fires Scarecrow does the same thing. Dark Rider will probably wind up with a hole in his head (or missing a chunk of SDC at least) while the Scarecrow is about to laugh at him as he finds out why people think The Scarecrow isn't human (conceptually this has happened before when people have tried to shoot him).
Strike (dice=20 +1) EDIT
Strike (roll=20+1) EDIT 2 (hate figuring out this syntax at times, sorry)
Strike [dice=20+1]
EDIT 3
If neither of the heroes are attacking the actual Scarecrow (and nobody seemed to roll a saving throw to determine which is the right one, so I'm guessing not) he will opt to not perform a simultaneous attack and will simply cast Shadow Meld to fade away into the darkness with one final laugh, probably leaving them to wonder "WTF was that".
He doesn't trust these two, and will see what happens when the thugs arrive.
He will doubtlessly re-appear to assist them at some point, but for the moment he will return to watching (magical stealth and surprise attacks are his thing).

Vivian looks alarmed when the two men start shooting at each other and, realizing that they're going to have company soon, grabs another explosive arrow and fires them at the scarecrow in the middle of the three, hoping she would knock out at least a couple of them. Vivian hopes to create enough of a distraction so that she and DR can get away before the company arrives.
