Rex nods. “I’ll need to be let in, but knowing how lightly you sleep at times, get some rest. I’ll see to gathering inquiries to that car and its occupants.” Heads down to his private garage with hot water, douses the Packard Twin Six, the paint job changing color from cherry red to black, climbs in and flips a switch, changing the license plate, flips another and gets out his costume, fedora and mask, trenchcoat, and vest, slips on the .45s that is his trademark, amongst other weapons, then pulls out, heading to The Porthouse, the only clue Avery seemed willing to divulge.

Caleb thinks "Gotcha". He will observe the path taken through the landmines so he won't set them off, as well as where the guards are stationed before heading back to his farm to rest (regain PPE). Come nightfall he'll dress up as The Scarecrow (gathering his guns and such) and head to the farm where the car is kept, he'll park his truck about a mile away and sneak up to the building, hopefully avoiding the mines, using invisibility (spell) to avoid detection at which point he plans to start picking off guards. I imagine we won't pick up with this until the other PCs catch up though, and I can't think of a good way/reason to just tell them at this point given that Caleb doesn't know any of their heroic identities at the moment. Still that's his basic plan, and where he'll be/heading while other stuff occurss if it becomes important.

Avery smiles lightly and lays down a fifty.

Vivian, despite getting the feeling you are being followed, you cannot find any evidence or signs that you are.
Rex, you reach the porthouse, and you notice the bouncer as well as his friend the disguised drifter with the concealed scattergun.
Avery, the bartender smiles. "Yeah, they usually ride in with supplies every week or two."
Caleb, you are struggling to find a concealed spot to put your truck, given all that's around you are other people's farms, and your reputation among them.

Yonette nods and sets aside her sewing and moves to the corner of hte living room and unrolls her mat and covers up with her coat and is shortly out like a light. her ability to pick up on who's nearing the door has saved their lives more than once. she will half rouse when someone comes inside her 'range', and only those that stay near the door too long will have her awake.
*she will wake and move to open the door when Rex comes home. until then she will catch the sleep she needs now so she will be at her best the next day

"Excuse me gentlemen, I have business inside your establishment," says Mr. Colt, trying the polite method first, despite his appearance.

Avery let's go of another fifty, "Have they made their rounds this week? If not, how about you ring me the next time they show up. There will be another fifty in it for you."
He glances around to see if his conversation has been on the ears of any of the other occupants of the bar.

Lex looked up from his sweeping as Vivian entered. He'd spent most of the day in the bakery, with slipping away long enough to prep equipment during lunch. He smirked," I hope you got some rest kiddo. Could be a long night." Vivian smirks, "I sure did. Looking forward to it." Vivian's smirk fades a little as she says, "It kind of felt like I was being followed. I didn't really see any evidence for it, but still.. it felt like I was for some reason." Vivian shrugs, "Maybe I'm just being paranoid after this afternoon."

Lex locked the door behind her and motioned towards the basement," Could be your secret admirer wanted another kiss." He teased, but wasn't smiling about it. The fact that someone had broke into the bakery bothered him, since it was the first time anyone over than Vivian had come close to learning the truth. He led the way down to his workshop and immediately began to donn his Steelfist costume. Testing the palm triggers that made his blades scissor into place, he reset them as he said, " I mean it this time, no unnecessary chances tonight, okay? I'm the one that wears armor, not you, so if lead starts flying, you get behind cover and pick your shots, okay?" As he said it, he holstered his paired Colts and picked up his Tommy Trencher, slapping the drum into place that held his spare rounds before sliding shells into the disguised pump gun.

Rex, the bouncer just sneers, as the hobo readies his scattergun. "Yeah, you got the password buddy?"
Avery, the Barkeep just shrugs. "They come usually once a week - they just filled up today."
Vivian and Lex suit up.

As Vivian puts on her costume, she rolls her eyes at Lex. "Fine." she grumbles before adding "Why do you get armour and I don't? That's pretty dumb."

Caleb will simply find a corn field, back the truck off the road into it a littles ways, and leave it there. He's doing this at night time, so he figures it should be fine for what he has in mind. The darkness and the corn should give it cover. Or at least that's his plan, unless the area is unusually crowded with lots of traffic at night, but he figures if they are hiding the car out here that isn't the case. He has no intention of asking permission to borrow anyone's barn or anything, that would kind of blow his cover even if he was well loved.

" Do you realize how heavy this stuff is?" Lex countered as he checked to make sure his other gauntlet was loaded and finally tucked his ballistic knives into their sheaths," gotta make some more of these. Look, " he turned his attention back to Vivian, "I'll call the guy back east I get my chain mail from and see if he can come up with something. Maybe some leather armor, it's lighter and more flexible but will still give you some protection and then I'll do what I can with it, okay? Now let's go before you have any more gentleman callers sneaking in the back door." He smirked.

"Yes, I have it written down right here," reaches into a pocket, taking out $20. "If it's not on this one, I can check the others."

Vivian glares at Lex's back and contemplates whacking him with the bow she is holding. "I TOLD you what happened!" she says with a huff. Making sure her hair is in a bun, Vivian makes sure she is ready before following Lex.
