Issue 13: Tally's Tale

DD, notices what Maximus is doing to Tabitha, steps back and slugs him in the jaw, "one more word out of you and I'll let Wolverine sharpen his claws on your bones."

He pushes Maximus at Wolverine, "hold him," he says before making his way over to Tabitha. He grabs her by the soldiers and turns her to face him, "snap out of it Tabby, he was trying to hypnotize you. Come on shake it off,"

"Wow. Is this ever cool!" Tally says almost having fun while going through this. She almost starts to think about how much fun it would be to....but halts herself realizing such thoughts could be both dangerous to the city and selfish.

Captain America looks at Spider-Man. "See if you can get her to land the city in the Atlantic, at least temporarily."

Maximus sneers. "Uh-oh. Looks like things could get...tense." He jokes. (Wolverine, save vs. Mindcontrol).

[Dome]

"Tabitha," DD says as he grabs her and shakes her again. "Snap out of it. He was trying to hypnotise you."

Snorts, grabbing hold of Maximus, classic arms behind his back hold, speaks softly. "I'd have no problem with putting my claws through your lower back into what I'm guessing is your kidneys, bub, so knock it off."

Spider-Man tries to help Tally get the city to land in the Atlantic. "Can you hear me Tally? Let's get this thing away from the people and into the water. Can you do that?"

Again, Tabitha shrugged away Daredevil's grip and took a step backward, bumping up against the control panel Spiderman was using hard enough to jar it.[rand=46301255362943580284999405151621928636461224476276023273958691714114]

Spider-man turns around and says "Hey! Watch it, this is complicated stuff we're messing with here!" He then turns back around and tries to work with the Omega Siphon and Tally to get the city to land in the Atlantic.

Tally not even sure if she can speak in this thing, but decides to just nod and try and do as Spiderman says. She does try and speak aloud, "Trying to!" While steering the ship as best she can.

There's a wide lurch in the room as Tally lands the city in the ocean.

Maximus rubs his jaw where DD hit him. "Oh, I'm so sorry! I guess I can't just ...take out...my agressions like you...Wolverine."

Tally still distracted by whatever she is in just sits there and enjoys the sensation of being linked to an entire city.

[Dome]

DD cringes when Tabby bumps into the control panel. When the city lands he says, "ok webhead, we landed, shut it down, before something goes wrong."

He then closes the distance to Tabby again, "Tabitha, I'm here for you," DD whispers dropping the change he adds to his voice when DD so that the voice she hears is actually Matt Murdock's.

Tabitha blinked a couple times, then sort of looked around as she tried to get her bearings. She knew something wasn't right as she settled on Daredevil. " Wha... what's going on?" She asked lowly, dropping her metallic form and stepping away from Spiderman and his controls.[rand=0147522077526219822490005384466342295697340338682893666450068175288]
