DD again shakes Maximus, "what is that machine going to do to her? What do you think is going to happen to you Maximus? Think you will ever see a piece of pie again?"

Maximus laughs. "It should be fine, I built it after all. and I'm very good at building things."
Pietro looks back at Tabitha, his eyes for a moment pausing by Crystal. "She does what she feels she must to save people. The act of a...hero. Have faith, young one - I believe she has strength to match courage."
"You're betting a life on that, Quicksilver." Captain America speaks up.
"Hardly. If it were the Defenders, it would be a bet. You're the Avengers." He smiles.
Spider-Man sees that the device will work, but it needs to be monitored and adjusted on the fly. (Computer operation rolls)
Tally flies into a metal archway, and electricity arches into it, lighting up her body like a christmas tree. She suddenly feels connected to the entire city, all over.

Tally feeling the oddness of being linked to the entire city is kind of weirded out but knows that this mush happen. She copies the electricity assuming that is what she will need to do but is prepped just in case to copy whatever energy it starts using in the majority.

With Tally's quick and rash decision, Spidey knows that he has to act quickly. He steps up to the control panel and starts making the proper adjustments.

"Should?" Tab said in disbeleif. Her fists doubled up as she glared at Maximus, but showing a little restraint, she turned and walked away with a huff to stand next to Spiderman and watch Tally, then spoke lowly,"Please don't let anything happen to her"

Unfortunately DD is stuck holding Maximus so can only stand back and watch what is happening and developing before him.

Tally, you can feel the city as a living thing, and find you can control it - what you do is up to you.
"When I say 'should' - I mean it will. I am a genius, after all." Maximus grins from ear to ear. "and don't you worry, after all, it will all...be...fine." His voice lowers.
(Tabitha, save vs. Hypnotic suggestion. Daredevil and Wolverine can roll perception to see if they can recognize that Maximus is using hypnosis.)
Spider-Man - you think you've got a handle on the systems, and they are showing that Tally's fully linked with the city.

Tally having control although it feels really weird. "Guys I think I have control but I am not sure what this city can do. I think well maybe if I reach out I can figure it out." With that she tries and thinks about flying and preventing the crashing of the city.

Wolverine and Daredevil can tell Maximus is using some kind of hypnosis effect on Tabitha.
Max keeps talking. "Yes, it's all going quite...well, isn't it? Is there really need for such...violence?"
Tally, you can feel the city flying with you, moving up and away from the city.
Captain America stands next to Spider-Man. "We're almost there."
