once they started to get close, trevor motioned for Long to stop. " Let me have that phone you got." He asked." I don't want to get any closer without making sure there are no problems."

Trevor took the phone and dialed. after a moment, he spoke," Hey, we're close. should we come right in, or..." " No, we can wait here" " Okay, we'll meet you there instead, you can explain why then."
He hung up, and handed the phone back. " Ashley wants to meet at the ice cream stand back by the pier we passed, something about them already having company."
Panek sputtered," Mebbe some of your cop buddies waiting for you."
"Do you want to go back in the trunk?"
Panek paused," With Kodiak involved, it might be safer."

"Well, that is why we are here after all."
Long gets out and opens the door for Panek. Long closes the door after Panek gets out and places a hand on his shoulder to make sure Panek is never more than an arms length away.
Long thinks (He might have said he is willing to help, but I still do not trust him.)
"Let us head over the ice cream stand then."

As they walked towards the ice cream stand, a motorcycle pulled up. Trevor hadn't noticed the good looking hawaiian woman remove her helmet and shake her loose. she looked at the three of them and started to walk in their direction, and that Panek had stopped in his tracks so Long was in front of him.

Long spoke in a loud whisper to get his attention, "Trevor!"
"Come on, Panek. You are not backing out now." Long gives Panek a little bit of a painful squeeze on his shoulder.

"I'm not backing out, I just want you between us." Panek replied lowly.
"Huh?" Trevor turned and smiled as he saw the woman, approaching her quickly and accepting her hug," Miss me, Ash?"
" What kind of mess have you gotten yourself into?" She released, " and who...,oh, you brought me lunch." She grinned wickedly looking at Panek.
"He's trying to help us." Trevor said. " Ashley, this is Long, he got dragged into this by saving my bacon."

Long extends his other hand to shake Ashley's and then lowers his head in respect. "Jiuyang. Thank you very much for meeting with us. I appreciate that this is a very big risk you are taking on our behalf."
Long turns to Panek. "I suppose the two of you already know each other. Well? Go ahead and say what you have to say."

" I'd do anything for this meatball you paired up with." ashley said, shaking Long's hand. She eyed Panek," Oh yeah, we know each other."
Panek swallowed hard, and then told the entire story about the lodge being burned, his sister's death and his brother going missing. It was exactly the way Long remembered it happening, and he could see it was stirring up emotions in Trevor.
All Ashley could say was "Wow" as she leaned back to sit on the hood of the car.

"Trevor said that you work with a team that may be able to help us also. We need to bring down the Brethren once and for all. Trevor and I have already tried to bring in Rusty on our own, but her armor was just too much for us. We could not subdue her, but with you and your team's help I am hoping that we could bring in Rusty, Deth, and Denial together and break up the gang forever. What do you think?"

Ashley nodded. " I am, but there's a hitch. Dylin, our liason with the government, just had his boss land in town a little while ago. That's how I got here without Isamu since he's in meetings. and another problem Trev, the full moon is this weekend."
" Oh crap. Is it starting?" He asked.
" Not yet. Tomorrow night won't be good though."
Panek sighed, looking at Long," She's a Lycan, we don't want to be around her when the moon has control."
" Sorry." She admitted.

Long looked a little confused. "Ok. That is fine if the team cannot come together at the moment. The three of us just need a place to stay out of sight until we can go ahead with the mission. Might you have a safe house that we could use for a while?"
Indicating Panek, "While this one has volunteered to help us, and he did tell the whole story. I do not think anybody here trusts him. Is there somewhere we could keep him?"

"Three days, thats all I need and I'll do what ever I can." Ashley said. " I know, Trevor, you know the place Jason used? No one should be keeping tabs there anymore, and I remember it has a secured phone so no one can trace you."
Trevor looked at Long, " Work for you?"
