"Good to hear he's on the mend." He then looks to Tabitha and Matt. "Perhaps we can get a table. I'd like to hear Mr. Murdock's thoughts on the latest criminal proceedings."

Matt smiles at Tabitha, "Please Tabitha, call me Matt. Its a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

He then looks at Cap, "all is well with me Mr. Rogers. As stimulating as that sounds I'd much prefer a more appealing topic than crime. How about you Tabitha?"

"Did I sssay X-ee? I mean Laaura. X-eee was my nickname for her and I kinda miss her. But sshee would alsso take this drink with me. I mean away from me." She responds while not even really noticing the switch of glass and taking a sip from it right away. "And the worsst thaat could happen. I don't know. I could like blurt out secretsss or ssstufff!"

"Oh please," Paul chuckled at Tally," what secrets could a young lady like yourself possibly have?" [ need a perc check, -5 penalty]


"nice to meet you, Matt" Tabitha said, unsure. " Proceedings? So you're a judge?"

sharon chuckled, " no Tabitha, he's a defense attorney. And a very good one." Without him noticing, Sharon had taken the opportunity to slip her arm around Steve's as they walked to one of the tables.

" Oh." she said, then motioned towards the podium," Looks like they are getting ready to start."


Hawkeye stopped midsip and looked at Logan," Bullseye? Are you.., nevermind, I know better than to argue with that sniffer of yours. We better find the others before he has chance to make his move. Blink, you and Logan find Cap and Tab, I'll go find Tally."

"Start what?" Cap asks innocently.

"Well...I have lotss off ssecrets. Like, I have tons of ssecrets on me and also on like those two people, you know the Cap and Tabistha." She points in the Captains and Tabitha's way and then realizes that she does not think she was actually ever told the Captains name. She does know Tabitha's obviously.

Matt smiles, "I only defend the innocent, so I only see justice served. Many mistake that for skill. I'm just a tool of lady justice you see," he says to Tabitha. He turns his head to Sharon, "but thank you for the compliment just the same."

He sits down next to Tabitha and offers her a smile. "I want to thank you for allowing me to sit with you."

He leans a little closer and lowers his voice, "to be truthful I was heading outside to try and find you. I got the distinct impression something was bothering you earlier when you ran into me when I was with the Parkers. I am glad that Mr.Rogers found you, and you seem to be feeling better."

"The Cap? What a strange name." Paul said, even more intrigued. " What kind of student are you with friends like that? Military or police academy?"



" Well derserved, Matthew." Sharon smiled as she nudged Steve with her elbow," This probably where Tony was supposed to make his big speech thanking everyone for coming out, but it looks like Miss Potts is getting stuck with the job." She pointed to Stark's assistant standing off to the side patiently (perc roll Cap)

"Umm, you're welcome." Tabitha said politely. Matt could sense her pulse quicken a little at her uneasyness. "I.. well,," she couldn't help but glance at Cap," when I first got in town I had a case of mistaken identity with Mr. Parker and I owe him an apology and explanation once I work up the nerve to face him. Mr. Rogers was good enough to have a little talk with me." she smiled slightly.

Tally giggles for a moment. "No silly. Like anyone would want me in the military with my blues ssking and stuff. I am surprised they let me in the group only being like 1 yearssss old and all that. No I am really not sssure why we call him the Cap. Jusst thhat we do." Finishing her next drink at hand.

"Oh I do feel woozy." She says while rubbing her head with her one hand.

"Right, Mr.Logan. Weap...Mr.Logan. What was Proffesor Xavior like?" she asked as they moved toward the group, "I think they were over here." the Caucasion look was bothering her. She may have been an X-man..but on her world they didn't hide.

"I think you've had enough, young lady." Said a familiar from behind Tally. Hawkeye had emerged from the crowd. " We better get you out of here."

"no harm is done, monsuier," Paul interjected," The young lady and I were just having a conversation."


As Tabitha was waiting for Matt to reply, something occured to Steve. When had Virginia Potts had time to completely switch outfits?

"Something's not right." Steve motions to Sharon. "I think you may need to call in back up." As he gets up to get closer to the podium.

"Itsss sok, ha..cl...ha." She almost has a confused look on her face as she is trying to remember what to call him. So she closes her eyes and tries to visualize. "Clint. Yahhh thast it. Yah we were talking about, about." She stops half losing her train of thought being distracted by other things around her. "Oh yah. We were talsking bouts my blue ssskin and being like one year oldsss I think." She does slap her hand over her mouth realizing she may have been out of line.

DD offers her a warm smile, "I completely understand. I was recently traveling and encountered someone who mistook me for someone else. Thank fully they were wrong. They thought I was dead," he says with a chuckle as if shaking it off.

"I mean, I don't look dead do I Tabitha?"
