Issue 12: Helping the Maria Stark Foundation (All)

Spider-Man shrugs as he walks with Wolverine. "What, you don't like Claws? Claws is good! Claws is descriptive! We can be a team! Claws and Webs! We'll make a killing."

[dakota]

" I like Logan, and I like Wolverine," the X-man flashed a warning smile," Let's leave it at that. Now, how am I gonna get back to the roof. I ain't takin any elevators after the last one."

[doc]

Captain America nods to Sharon. "Everyone's accounted for. I'm glad you're alright. " He smiles slightly. "I better go take care of my team. I'll send you my report first thing."

[Dome]

DD leaps off the building and uses his grapnel to catch on the next nearby building and swings himself over. As the line recoils and he flips through the air only to grab a flag poll spin on it before using it to propel himself to the next building.

He thinks about the battle he was just in and of course Tabitha. He had witnessed her getting hit and had been to slow to help her. In the end she was ok, but before that she seemed so troubled. He knew she was not from even this dimension and there weren't many she could talk to about it. He was enjoying the evening before all hell broke loose.

Stopping on a roof top not far from Stark Tower, DD looks back at the building, the hole in the side and the Quinjet still perched nearby. Whatever was going on wasn't going to stop. This attack had to be related to everything else that has happened lately. There was no coincidence that they attacked a room full of people with several heroes present. They were expecting it, the question is why.

DD hated unanswered questions. Sighing he leaps off the building and heads back towards Stark Tower. He makes his way straight to the quinjet. Leaping inside he say, "room for one more?"

Spider-Man looks at Wolverine and says "Alright, your loss. You want me to carry you up there? Cause a piggyback ride is gonna look a bit ridiculous."

Tally too stays behind to see if anyone needs a lift up, espcially that strange person with the claws. She is still not sure if he and Spiderman are friends or enemies from the way they speak. She does however finally speak up, "I can carry anyone up if they need too."

[dakota]

Sharon nodded, then added a quiet, " stay safe. I'll let you know if we find out anything else."


As Daredevil came aboard, Hawkeye turned to face him from the pilot seat, " always, as long as you think you can put up with us." He motioned to the empty seats where Tabitha was being tended to by Songbird, who forced a smile," This is one tough young lady to take a hit like that and stay on her feet as long as she did."



Logan looked at Spiderman and then Aura, " That would be a cute one for the papers, wouldn't it?" He held up his communicard," Hawkeye, ready for pick up. We made our own exit."


"On our way" Hawkeye replied, then looked at the others," Buckle in, time to pick up the rest of the gang."


In moments, the Quinjet hung outside the hole in the wall, and the hatch opened. Songbird used her powers to create a gangplank for them to board.

Cap nods. "You stay safe as well." as he boards the aircraft.

Tally having been up well past her bedtime sits in whatever seat is available and curls up and goes to sleep to pass the time on the way home.

[Dome]

DD walks toward Songbird and Tabby, he says to Songbird, "she going to be ok?"

He sits down next to Tabitha and says, "Mr. Murdock asked me to let you know he was ok. He made it out just fine."

[dakota]

Tabitha was out like a light, as Songbird shook her head. " She won't be talking to anyone for a while. I gave her a sedative to help with the pain. She was still wincing after she went out." She smiled," Welcome to the Avengers"

[Dome]

"I guess I'll talk with her later," he says with a shrug.
