Krystal, you recognize the cable for what it is - a space elevator - a giant cable of carbon nanotubes that extend from the equator into orbit - easily the most energy efficient means of spacelaunch possible.

The marvels it would take to build this is impressive." Realizing that neither of the two are probably interested in her techno-babble she leaves it as such.

"That's a big fricking elevator. I'll give it that." Slycer adds in. "The muzzak would probably be horrible though. Figure we'll bet getting a chance to look at it closer?" He looks at the two.

"It is OK, I guess." Noting Balus's disinterest in the entire thing. "Why do we not head back to the mess and get something to eat instead." Krystal does her best to hide her disappointment but at the same time understands the needs of people needing food and the likes.

Balus shook his head, " Got to finish up rounds before end of shift. Besides, you don't eat." He grinned, then turned to Slycer," I'm sure the Captain will send a team, but I doubt I'll get this one after the way the last mission I was on went. Nothing I could have done, but still." He shrugged.

Krystal realizes that Balus seems to be down on himself. "I don't think there was anything we could have done at all. But if they do not send you, I don't think I would be sent as well." Then after Slycer speaks she gives a smile and responds, "That would be really, really cool riding on that but would be cooler if we could get some food for some first. I mean I am full", she rubs her belly and makes a fake burping motion, "I mean that solar bed was extra filling today. But I imagine it is not the same for both of you so, why don't we stop looking at the really, really cool elevator and finish your rounds so we can get to food." She gives a final smile and waits for a response as well as them moving along on the way.

Fegh nods, he toggles the communicator first contacting Krystal on her personal communicator, "Engineer Krystal, please prepare for an away mission and meet myself and Major Troykr at the Airlock in 30 minutes."
He then calls Balus, "Corporal Walkir, please prepare for an away mission. You will be accompanying as part of the security detail. Once ready, meet at the airlock in 30 minutes please."
He does the same with several other security personnel. He says to the Captain, "I have contacted Engineer Krystal, Corporal Walkir, and 3 other security team personnel sir. We will be ready to disembark in 30 minutes."

"Sure will do." She responds back but waits until the call comes over Balus's communicator. "But I have a quick appointment to keep as some of the crew are still on patrol and needing nourishment before heading on an away mission so be advised then we will be quickly hitting the mess hall. But we will be there by half an hours time.
She then turns to Balus, "We got you like 20 minutes for food if you think that is enough time to eat?"

Slycer sighs as he also gets a call-up. "Dang. And it was meatloaf day too. Here's hoping these guys have something like food down there." He gets up. "Come on big kid, let's get suited up."
Krystal, you also get a page from Richol to see you before you report to the Major.
Fegh, you are relieved of your station so you can prepare for the away mission.

Krystal curious by the page heads to see Richol, "Guess I will meet you in a little bit!" She says to Balus and Slycer. Once at the workshop she enters the room and stands before Richol not speaking until he is ready.
