The second lightning strike ended up hitting home, unleashing another bellow from the beast. Torran let up on the pummelling for a second and gained some distance before unleashing a bolt of energy that all but vapourized the maggot...
After a second, the General cancelled the magic power he was using, landing to the ground gruffly near Sarah. Pulling off the wraps, he looks at Sarah, very drained and weak. "Thank-you for your help." He manages. "You will want to pull the wraps off right away as well to prevent permenant damage."

Sarah nods at Torran and replies "No problem." Following his advice, she pulls off the wrap gingerly, wincing at the sight of the burns on her arms. After she's done this, she asks Torran, "Now what?"

(Sarah)
Gathering his strength and standing up, Torran had very little left of the garments he was wearing. "I do not really know." He confesses looking around. "This never happened before."
(Mary-Ellen)
"The next part will get rather hard on you." Says the sneaky-looking, well-dressed man as the trio still stand there watching the goings on. "You may not want to remember it. In fact, if you're not ready, you can forget all of this again."
"But, you are still needed." Says the old man. "If you choose to remember, it must mean you'll have the strength to carry on."
The pair look at Mary-Ellen for her decision.

Mary Ellen watches with an amazed look on her face at the girl, who looks just like her batles a huge monster. 'Wow' she thinks to herself.
As she contemplates his words, she takes a deep breath and says "I think it's important that I remember. So I choose to remember."
(Sarah)
Sarah smirks "Why do I not find that comforting?" she asks him.

"Very well, then. It's your mind." Said the sneak-looking man.
(Sarah)
Torran looked at Sarah. "As I said before, it might be because you've had too much dealings with the Fayde for your own good."
As he said this, the ground began to shake as the air around them started to turn into a void. "Oh good. The universe is collapsing." Torran added, glibly. "Well, if we survive, I shall have to look you up." Soon, the ground started to swallow them up, and Sarah was very soon drowning... or at least was until the one of the eye stalks of the maggot rammed her chest, spreading eye goo everywhere... and after an ungodly amount of time, Sarah found herself in the middle of a farmer's field, collapsing from the exhaustion...
(Mary-Ellen)
Both the two companions winced at Sarah got nailed by the eye stalk. "Oh, that would have to leave a mark." Says the sneak one.
"I'ld feel sullied and unsual from that." Added the old man.
"Well. I guess this is it, then. Good luck." Said the sneak-looking man.
(Sarah)
Her whole, rather violent, life came flodding back in a rush. As Sarah opened her eyes, she could see books were displaced and Edeline was holding her hand and various others were scrambling... a glass of water nearby was steaming. "Mary-Ellen, Mary-Ellen!" Edeline cried. "Oh, you're awake!"

Sarah can't help but smirk at Torran and says "Definitely look me up if we both survive." As she gets hit by the eye stalk, she yells out in pain and is a bit grossed out by all the goo that got spread everywhere.
As Sarah's memories come flooding back in a rush, she gasps out loud and opens her eyes. She now knows exactly who she is and where she is. She immediately thinks about her parents 'They'll be so worried!' and Coop 'I hope he's doing ok' and she looks around the room, trying to figure out what was going on.
Attempting to smile at Edeline, she asks "What happened? How long was I out for?"

"Oh! It was so scary!" She says. 'First, you stop moving and your eyes go all weird... I can't do it, but it was like you weren't looking at anything. And then you fell down and then Amos went to catch you cause you were falling but then he ran into the bookshelf knocking books over trying to get to you then mommy came in all upset from the noise and saw you on the ground looking at nothing and ran out to call the doctor and came back with the glass of steaming stuff which was supposed to wake you up but it didn't and you were still on the ground and I was all worried and we were all worried and we didn't know what was going on or anything and we all thought your brain was broken and you were going to be like that forever and that there was no way to bring you out of the thing you were going through but then you cam back all on your own!" She hugs Sarah hard. "I'm so glad you're OK Mary-Ellen!"

Sarah returns Edeline's hug and says "I'm glad I'm ok too. I'm sorry if I scared you."
There's a pause as Sarah lightly strokes Edelines hair, and she contemplates telling them what her name actually is. Instead what comes out is "Steaming stuff? How was the steaming stuff supposed to wake me up?"

After a second, she gets up. "Why do you go all weird when we play the memory game?"

Sarah smiles weakly as she shrugs. "I don't know. Maybe my brain is trying to remember stuff." Sitting up, she can't help but sneak a peek at her wrist, wondering if what had happened was real and if she really had a tattoo, or if that was all a dream.

Edeline pulls he sleeve back, looking at the cloud tattoo. "It is very pretty. Where did you get one? Mommy can I - "
"No." Her mother said, before the question made it out.
"But she - "
"No."
"But what if - "
"No."
"I'm sensing she means no." Alicia says, helping Edeline up. "Time for bed for you anyways, Eddy."
"But, I want to stay up!"
"No."
"Oh..."

Sarah smiles quietly as Alicia help Edeline up and says "Getting a tattoo hurts a LOT." she tells Edeline. "You wouldn't like it."
As Edeline is lead out of the room, she stares at the tattoo. 'It was real' she thinks to herself. She looks up at Dora and says quietly "I'm sorry if I frightened everyone."

"Well." Dora says, tidying with Amos's help. "With luck they won't be too frequent, or I'll have Detective Wilson take you off our hands. I'm sure the hospitals will be better suited in the city to help then us here."

Sarah smiles weakly and attempts to help tidy up, though she suspects that Dora will probably insist that she rest. She nods quietly at dora, and says "Probably." She hesitates and says almost shyly "Sarah. My name is Sarah."

"Well, we'll sort all that out when Detective Wilson comes back." Dora says, calmly, but wheels turning. "I'm sure a lot's come back. You may need to sleep on it."
