Sarah studies the stones for a minute before shaking her head. "No, not really." she replies "like tattoos, they were stories to read, but I've never used them in a magical way."

"Then, clearly, you education has been lacking." Torran says. "I shall have to have a word with your instructor when I leave this place."
Taking the wrap, he starts wrapping them emerald wraps around her arm. "This is a battery and booster wrap." Torran explains. "It will help you to store the magic energy you need for the tattoo and amplify its effects when you activate it. The tattoo must remain exposed so that you can touch it to activate it. Understand?"
When he was finsihed, Sarah's arms resemble distinctly those of a certain Elf back home.

Sarah blinks in surprise as she finally realizes what the wraps around Eleutheroi's arms are and what their purpose was. She had always wondered if he'd hurt his arms somehow, a childish wondering that she'd never gotten rid of. A small smile appears at the idea of Torran scolding Tobrias about her magical education and it's apparant lacking of certain information.
Sarah nods quietly at Torran and says "I understand."

"Alright." Torran says. "Then, start charging the emeralds so that you can draw on them later." With that, he starts wrapping his own arms in the same cloth.

Sraah nods at Torran and closes her eyes and focuses on charging the emeralds so she has the extra energy so she can defeat the maggot.

After a while, Sarah gets the feeling the emeralds are charged. After some time, Torran looks over. "Let's get the beast's attention. I'm sure it's been trying to find us for some time."
After a while, they can see in the distance the great beast.
"Remember," Torran says. "The beast can't see if it's blinded by stuff in the air. Got it?"

Sarah is quiet for a moment before she nods. "Got it." She then takes a deep breath and prepares herself mentally to go fight the maggot.

It didn't take long to find the beast, which was slowly tracking them. "I'll need you to hold it back while I get up to full strength." Torran said. "And, ignore the burning feeling from the arm wraps. It'll heal. Ready? Go."
With that, Torran sort of cocoons himself and the emeralds on his arms start to glow.

Sarah nods at Torran and presses her new tattoo, activating it for the first time. (PPE: 100 - how much PPE does she get from the emeralds/arm wrap thingy?) She can't help but wince at the burning sensation on her arms. She then casts Wind Rush to create a dust storm to blind the maggot while Torran recharges his emeralds.

Sarah easily has enough PPE to activate the tattoo when she touches it, concentrating like Torran had taught her.
Using Wind Rush, the savannah's dry, sandy earth rushes up, smacking the Maggor clear in the eyes, distracting it as it shields itself. From behind her, Sarah senses the expension of a massive amount of PPE, and into the sky rises a black-winged harbinger of doom, crackling with blue and black mystical energy. "It ends." Says Torran in a menacing voice, bearing down on the Maggot with terrfiying (and I mean, literally, HF of 16 terrifying) mystical force.

Sarah stands transfixed staring at the scene as Torran bears down on the maggot. For a minute, she almost feels sorry for it but remembered that it would kill her if it got the chance.

Sarah does her best to shake off the fear she'd felt, and casts 'call lightning' thanks to her new tattoo, aiming for the creature's head and trying to avoid hitting Torran (strike: 12, damage: 17 MDC)

Sarah feels the wraps seer her arms a little more, as magical energy ripples along them, when she summons the lightning... the bolt that came out was far larger than usual, and, judging by the bellow of the creature, far more powerful than he had expected.

Sarah winces at the burning sensation on her arms and prepares to call lightning again, taking care to not hurt Torran, hoping she would not cause too much damage to her arms in the end. (strike: 18, Damage: 15 md)
