The nighthawk is excited because the portal is working. It takes a little effort for Aki to understand the creature, but while they are all having visions, their physical bodies are being sucked through a space-time portal that is transporting them back to Torchwood.

Cara and Kara remember the King's daughter leaving the temple not long after the incident.
Then there are a few events that don't quite make sense, searches on other worlds, mostly hunting Fakir's DNA.
Then they see the scene at Joy's, only this time through Kara and Cara's eyes. The twins know Beatrix to be one of Fakir's top agents. Apparently she is stupid, but gets things done. Kara and Cara spend most of their time with Tesla, but they don't really know who he is - the name sounds familiar to them - maybe from a car commercial?
The take Taifuu's DNA and create a clone later.
The scenes stop. They are back in Torchwood in a conference room. With the camels and the birds and Ora everyone is pressed into each other and the camels. The conference room was intended for ten human sized people.
Darrell spits camel hair out of his mouth and sputters, "Welcome back! Now get off my foot!"

Aki can't help herself as Yuri chirps her annoyance of being mooshed against the ceiling. for a moment she remains quiet, then the small body that she is, Aki follows the sneaky Yumi downward to the floor and her comments keep all the animals quiet.
*she looks for the nearest door and opens it. she looks to see if it leads into the hall, and if it dows, will spend the next little while getting hte animals out of hte conference room and leads them down the hall to the garage or some other large place. she will get the camels to settle down on the ground and peacefully wait while she unloads them.
*she teases the big warbird with her hand on the beak when it complains about cramped spaces. 'we could still be in room fit for humans . . . you are not the only one that was cramped. they were as well'

So basically Bellephoebe just downloaded the life of Lord Splynncryth directly into her brain through that weapon.... goody goody gumdrops that's going to be "fun". Even with the speed it's moving at her reaction is pretty much the expected "ARGHHHH!" as she falls to her knees briefly holding her head. Sure Fakir is an epic villain and the focus of our attention, but Splynncryth is pretty much "What if Cthulhu and Jabba the Hutt were the same person" from a race that routinely conquers, destroys, and enslaves worlds. Under the circumstances she probably isn't going to be paying much attention to anyone else's visions since she's getting a full brunt of that. "Where's the bathroom" Bellephoebe gasps before heading out to vomit profusely, beginning to weep from the horror before slowly putting herself into a meditative state to process the sheer magnitude and horror of this information, hold herself together, and prevent herself from being checked into the nearest asylum. I just really can't think of any other way that this would play out. Bellephoebe dearly hopes that her own life cycling that way does not mean Splynncryth has gained a similar awareness of her, not so much because she's anything deeply impressive, but because if he did he'd probably have no real compunctions raping this entire planet over what information Bellephoebe probably just gained and may or may not consciously recollect. Anyone else who pays attention to that part of the information (since I'm guessing only Bellephoebe gets the brunt of it, even if minor to the entire situation) might very well wind up having a similar reaction given that it's like "Lovecraft and George Lucas are the same person, and was right!" as opposed to superhero kung-fu theater.

Lord Splynncryth's lifespan was long, fortunately like Sapphire and Romidus visions, it went too fast for Bellephobe to get much more than subliminal horror out it.
As for whether the visions are two way, they would have to ask one of the people involved in the connection. Cara and Kara would probably be the least dangerous choice.
After Aki beds down the camels in the lobby she hears Darrell yelling in the conference room. "Hurry! Over here!" He yells. Bellephobe has just finished puking.

Aki rolls the eyes at the yelling and rubs the lead camel's face and asks it 'please . . do not be being moody and bite anyone. i will take the big feathered one with me'
*that said the small female follows the mongoose as it returns back to the room they just left. the smaller birds flit and flap in teh halls as the warbird walks in a stately manner with Aki

Darrell starts casting spells and mumbling, "Not a rift... not a teleport.... What could?...."
Then he points to an empty space, "Romidus is gone. But how? Why?" Darrell pulls on his beard in frustration as he stares at the empty space where Romidus stood.

' . . . he stop being?' *the small body climbs and sits on a table as Yumi and the 2 smaller birds join her. the larger one seems to look about and promptly starts grooming itself. to her, Romidus not being there is the same as if he just faded from existance. everything lives a little bit and dies. only the memories remain and what you do with them is what counts

Darrell raises an eyebrow at Aki as if considering this, then he runs over to Bellephobe and stands in front of her. Not the best idea, but he seems very excited....
"Not a rift, not teleportation.... What could transport Romidus?" He looks at Bellephobe as if she might answer him, seemingly oblivious to her state.

Bellephoebe is still a bit green around the gills from the subliminals. "Ugh... umm, well, while rare there are technological methods of transport, not to mention genetic mutations, and similar things. It's also possible he's out of phase, or simply turned invisible. He could also have been summoned by someone who had his true name or some other method of calling him. I don't know much about Romidus, but if the link from these weapons we made are two way and the various people we linked to became aware of each other, his nature might have allowed him to be called by someone who gleaned that from his life story. Barring any of those possibilities I have no idea... I don't claim to know everything the Megaverse has to offer."
"Speaking of which, I will need someplace to quarter Starlighter, preferably outdoors. I don't know what kind of facilities this dimension has, or how common Gryphons are here. While we take care of immediate concerns like that, if someone has a personal effect of Romidus, or even better a picture of him, I can cast a ritualized 'Locate' spell and can get a general idea of where he is. HOW he disappeared is not as important as where he disappeared to, and knowing where he is might help us determine the method of his departure".

"Tech..." Darrell shakes his head, "Never heard of a device smaller than a vehicle... Link... maybe.. but Romidus didn't have a stone weapon." Darrell is pacing excitedly, mumbling out loud the options.
"Only leaves... Wait! Romidus was a spirit of light or something. It must be summoning."
Darrell stops suddenly. And says slowly, "Everyone put a hand on Sapphire. I have a theory..." He starts casting a few more spells, but these are just sensory spells, nothing terribly interesting.
"Come on, gather round. If I'm right this will only take a minute."

'she not like much dirt near her. but fine. we touch too' *Yumi hops off using Aki's foot as a step and moves over and plants both front feet on the foot, then being the animal she is . . proceeds to sniff without touching the 'skin' of her shin. Aki's hand moves into view and is touching the wrist with thumb and finger.
*the smallest of the birds lands on that arm and beak rubs on the elbow are. the middle sized acts as counter point on the other arm and its beak nuzzles the shoulder.
*the big warbird seems to behave as its large beak and predatory eye observes Sapphire's face, then it has it's beak under the android's hand.

Bellephoebe starts to say "Ummm, errr do you think Sapphire is going to like being suddenly pawed like that?" having noticed her demeanor about contact, both social and physical during the journey.
If Darrel insists she will say "Sorry about this, but I guess we need to find Romidus" and lightly touch Sapphire on the shoulder where she hopefully won't mind.
