Issue 10: Tokyo Calling

[Dome]

DD throws his billy club at the face of one of the ninja's, shoots the hook end of his towline at one of the others, and then charges the last one doing a flip to land with his feet in the ninja's chest. Once he lands he pulls the ninja he hooked towards him, meeting him with a roundhouse to his face.

(Daredevil)

Daredevil puts down the ninjas with a speed and grace that beggars description. Elektra puts her arms around his shoulders. Her scent is intoxicating to you.

"You haven't lost your touch. Not that I'm surprised." She whispers in your ear. "Now, all we have to do is eliminate the Yoshida woman...."


(Wolverine)

You know that she's describing various objects in the ancient temple, but you're struggling to figure out why she's doing it. You can tell she's trembling fighting the Hand's control of her.

(Tally)

Songbird opens the inner airlock door. "Flying Wedge attack. I come in from the the creature's left, you from the right. Aim for an eye or any sensitive target. We just want to distract Fin Fang Foom. "

(Tabitha)

"Well, I was going to let you operate the Quinjet weapons systems, but if you're going to be pouty about it..." Hawkeye intones.

[dakota]

" I'm not pouting." Tabitha snapped. " But if you don't want me to, then I'll sit here and watch. You realize though that if you get this antique swatted by one of those things, you're never gonaa hear the end of it, right?"

[Dome]

Catching his returning club, DD shakes his head, "we must not try. Wolverine would no more allow that than I would allow someone to eliminate you. We would have to go through him. For now we must follow his lead, as I do not know how even the pair of us could stand up to an enraged Wolverine. Come let us check on him."

DD leads Elektra towards the temple and remains silent with an arm secured around Elektra's waist, outside the entrance, so he is within ear shot. The arm around her not just to show his affection but to also make sure she does not try to go ahead of him.

"If these objects are the source, give me a clue, or if they'll help free you."

(Tabitha)

"Well, then you better shoot well," as the weapons display lights up in front of you, Hawkeye dives straight for Godzilla.

(Tally)

"this is our stop." As she punches a button, the outer airlock opens and she's sucked out of the aircraft. Once she's clear she creates a pair of bright pink Energy wings to control her flight.


(Daredevil)

"You used to be so much more fun Matthew." Elektra smiles as she performs a perfect aerial leap and flip to come face to face with you. "Don't you want to be wild again, like we were before?" Her lips come closer to yours....

(Wolverine)

"A map of my heart is hard to describe. A map of the temple is like a map of the heart. The heart of things that have the hearts torn out of them." is Mariko's pained replied as she stumbles and falls to her knees.

[dakota]

[Dome]

DD considers her for a moment, "as tempting as that sounds, consider that we lost each other in the past. To revert to our old ways could cause us to lose each other again," he reaches out and touches her face. "I do not want to take such a risk."

Tally seeing what is to be done also jumps out no wings though. And takes flight following her companion down.

[kurff]

Blink looked on and wondered how to guide them. Does the Japanes government have any city wide sound system we can use to direct the monsters to sea?" she asked..

"Heart of the...center of the temple." Mutters Wolverine, doing his best to recall the layout and heading off to find it.

Elektra sighs as she pulls away. "That's your problem now Matt - you've lost your taste for adventure." as she backflips away from you.

Wolverine makes his way to the heart of the temple, finding an ornate jade dragon mounted on a golden base. You can detect Mariko's scent near the base - recent, fresh.

Tabitha intuits the controls easily - they are virtually child's play to her as the Quinjet heads straight for Godzilla.

"Go for the knees!" Songbird's voice is converted to a giant pink buzzsaw blade that cuts across Fin Fang Foom's right knee.

[dakota]

"This thing belongs in a museum, not on the frontlines." Tabitha chuckled as she worked the controls. " Line me up for a shot and we'll see if we can get it's attention." Once she had a shot, she fired indiscriminantly at Godzilla.
