Gambit rubbed his chin, then dug around in his pocket for the communicator. He would be curious to see what Lady Mandarin thought.

"I was just thinking there are alot more powerful villains out there that they could get. And his aim isn't completely unerring webhead," he says thinking back on the times he has fought Bullseye and made him miss his targets.

Captain America's voice speaks with an uncommon softness and compassion to young Glory as she's about to head off. "You could stay, if you wishto learn all the sides of the story."
He then takes a moment to look over the others as he walks into the center of the group. Young. Inexperienced. Brash and underpowered for the task at hand. Just like I was when the Invaders started. Just like Pietro and Wanda and Clint were when I took over the Avengers. Just like all the other times the team had to rally together. History repeats itself
The Sentinel of Liberty gives a familiar smirk to Hawkeye as he begins speaking. "You all performed well today. You show great potential, as an individuals and a team, a team that will be necessary if the Lady Mandarin, and those like her are to be defeated. If you would permit me the honor, I invite you all to join me, and join the Avengers."
The Living Legend of World War Two lets the words sink in for a moment.
"I know what you are thinking - some of you don't think you need a team, that you don't belong or you are 'out of your league'. " His eyes catch Spider-man's mask. " You think that being an Avenger would take away your perspective on the needs of the average person." He meets Daredevil's masked gaze. "You believe that one person can't make a difference in the big picture." He gives Gambit a glance and pauses. "I'm here to tell you - that is not true - not at all, not ever. If you're willing to rise to the occassion, if you're willing to face your darkest fears and deepest doubts, and if you're willint put trust in yourself, and each other, then one person can change the world. I'm looking for people who can change the world. I'm looking for people who can save it."
Captain America puts out his hand, palm down. "Who's with me?"

Not having nowhere near the enthusiasm that the guy in the mask has Tally turns to Captain America. "Me as well?" Not sure herself if it is a question or a statement.

Once away from the group she spoke more openly with creed. She was deep in thought and not as alert as usual. It was sign she was not at her best.
"Just heal up...and try and stay out trouble. I'm guessing they'll be fine. Wish I were going back with you..I might actually have something to do..." she half joked as he hugged creed, "And try not kill Morph we still need him around..." she winked.

Gambit returns CA's glance in only the way the leader of a theives guld could: of course a man can make a difference, if that man is Gambit. The living legend's moving speech washed around Gambit - he had just turned Glory on her head with fewer words.
"You know I have other obligations." He says, plainly, and cryptically at the same time. "My time will be better spent than drinking brandy and smoking ciagrs in the Avengers' mansion waiting for danger. Especially since danger sees us as the interference."
(Sorry... cottage ruined my brain for a minute, there)

DD says, "Cap, we have come together, we are working together. Why do you think we need new branding now? I'll work with you, I'll see this through to the end, especially with Bullseye coming into play. But as honoring as it is to be offered membership in the Avengers, I have to decline."

Captain America looks at the group assembled. "Very well, come by the mansion tomorrow and we'll begin pooling our resources and devising a strategy. THose of you whom require a place to stay can come by the mansion and we'll make accomodations."
