Captain America listens. "Sorry ma'am. I don't leave soldiers behind." He looks to Glory. "Any chance you inherited Ms. Marvel's energy absorption abilities?"

Leaning on Daredevil, Hawkeye cleared his throat. He sounded horrible as he spoke, " Gambit has a good idea, Cap. I've heard that before too, and it wouldn't be the first time we blew something up before it could blow on it's own."
Glory shook her head. "No, all I got from mom was her flight and some of her strength." She was still staring at Ghostsabre like she thought she was crazy.
" Glad you're so concerned, webhead." Tabitha said before looking at Gambit and nodding. " It's probably my best chance. Gambit, if you use me as a shield, if this works you should be okay. If not, it won't matter."
Glory offered her shield to Gambit," This will help protect you a little more. Tabbycat, you're crazy."
Tabitha countered," Someone goes to this extreme to kill us, we have to oblige them with at least a little blast. everyone else down in the tunnel, just in case."
Once they were clear, she said nervously, "whenever you're ready, Cajun."

"I like those odds, cherie." Gambit said to Tabby. "And thank you." He says to Glory.
"OK. Plan is, I charge the bomb so that it blows in a couple of seconds. Sorry if your hand gets hurt, but it won't be so bad as blowing up." Gambit says.
Leaning around her, in a way that was entirely too flirty for the situation, he charges the bomb with a low-yeidl Gambisplosion, on a 3 second delay.
"3.. 2.. 1..!" ANd he holds the shield in front of tabby while ducking behind her.

Tally does as instructed and covers her ears and does duck behind the safety as instructed.

Spider-Man turns to Ghostsabre and says, "I'm just saying, if you're anything like your dad, you'll be just fine! Me? Not so much. You ever seen a Spider take on a bomb? Yeah, there's a reason why not."
When everyone goes into the tunnel, Spider-Man follows and covers his ears through his mask.

"I've seen a Spiderman take on a bomb." Glory said with an impish grin. "Well, Nitro if he counts. I think they scraped enough off the wall to filll..."
She was cut off by the sudden concussion of the explosion, followed by the bombblast echoing through the tunnel. After a moment, two figured were visible standing up at the mouth of the tunnel.
Getting to her feet, Tabitha reverted to her normal form. She was filthy and her uniform was nearly shredded, but it didn't matter as she embraced Gambit tightly and spoke softly," Never know for sure, but I probably owe you my life, Gambit. I'll take my chances with Rogue finding out." She said as she kissed him.

Back in the tunnel, Hawkeye watched the pair at the mouth of the tunnel. " Well, they survived at least, but that will complicate things in the X-world a bit." His voice was still gravelly from the damage Omega Red had done. " Everyone else okay?"

Why do they always think I want to sleep with them? Gambit wondered as Tabby kissed him.
Out loud - after the appropriate amount of time - he said, "Gambit does not save a lady's life for the rewards, Cherie." And, hoping to keep her from trying again, he adds, "We should check on the others, hein?"
As he leads Tabby to look for survivors, Gambit wonders if he still has the pocket communicator. It would be a juicy bit of gossip for Lady Mandarin to know they survived, again.

"Still here, Archer. How are you doing?" Cap loooks over his friend. "Alright, I'm going to get on the horn to SHIELD to pack these guys up and then we need to find out what's really going on. We need leads people."

"Gambit saved the day." Gambit boasts, the Cajun accent stronger than usual. "Any other pretty ladies want to show their appreciation?"

" Just a little sore." Hawkeye replied. " Won't feel comfortable wearing turtlenecks for a while I guess. You can't get rid of me that easily."
" You won't find much for clues." Glory said as she got to her feet, dusting herself off. " The woman in green, she called herself Amora I think, brought us here. She stayed long enough to get whatever the robot stole out of the armored truck. We just handled the security while Apoca-bot grabbed whatever was in it and that Amora woman 'ported it away. Then we waited for you. The robot claimed he had a score to settle with the Avengers and, well, " she toed the ground a bit before taking her shield back from Gambit as he and Tabitha rejoined the others," I was sucked in by my hatred of you." Glory said, motioning towards Cap.
Tabitha looked at her," And did he prove you wrong?"
"He proved nothing except he meets every stereotype I've associated with him." Glory snapped.
Tabitha sighed, then held her hand out to Blink," I need the Tallus, so I can take her back home. Between Bucky and my realities' Hawkeye, maybe they can beat some brains into her. I'll be back as soon as I can."
Creed was slow to react, dragging himself up. " Drop me back at base, Tabbycat. Blink, you'll be okay without me getting in the whille with this bunch for teammates."
Tab only nodded at Creed's use of her nickname, and waited for the device

Tally sighs at Gambit's remark especially seeing he is older then she is goes up to him and gives him a kiss on the cheek. "To be honest I thought it was a team effort though!"

Looking over at the truck, he turns to Hawkeye. "What was in it? Seriously. The last time I watched her try to steal something, it was Hulk and Brood. Now, come clean."
