Fegh cuts into the shield, which is begging to weaken as the birdman chants.

Medics take away the wounded soldier Krystal was helping.

Balus' energy beam scorches an armor plate as the cyborgs are retreating. The bugman who can create portals has awakened and is trying to teleport the raiders away.

Upho again swings at the shield, once with one hand. then with the sword he still has in the other.

Krystal finally freed of her duty and seeing Slycer will be looked after she decides to head to where she is most needed. Her engine room.

Re-wrapping herself in the forcefield for body armour she heads back through flight to the engine room both to check if Balus is ok and the ship is ok.

Balus charged at the bug man, all intentions to flatten him. He set his shoulder as he neared his target.

Fegh, the concentrated fire from the other troopers cuts down the forcefield, as you and the birdman are now surrounded by a ring of fire.

Krystal will scan the place to make sure it is free of invaders. If it is she will drop the shield around the engine area.

Upho tries to jump away from the fire even though it will put him out of range of attacking the birdman.

Balus forgot himself again as Krystal returned," Is Slyce gonna be okay?" It didn't dawn on him that he was still in combat, and that he was adorned more in the remains of the bug man than what was left of his uniform. " For that matter, are you okay?"

Upho is burned as he jumps through the ring of fire. the other troopers are continuing their fire.

Krystal hears Balus. "I am not sure about Slycer but he is at the medical wing and being looked after. I did not stay as I am not much use in medicine and have had no idea what was happening down here that after I made sure he was looked after I rushed back to make sure the engines of the ship were safe...as well as you?"

Seeing it is still not one hundred percent safe she leave the engine shields up.

Balus took a deep breath, then thumbed a comm. " Engine room to bridge. Things under control here."

He looked at Krystal. " I'm fine, just need a change and a shower. Are you okay?"

"I believe I am fine I just want to check out the engines to make sure all is good." Not trusting the initial glance she does a quick check.

Once the quick level 3 diagnostic on the ship engines is complete she is satisfied that all is well. "I am not sure I can leave this post till more people arrive but at least the shield I put up held and no danger seems to happening." (Sorry for startrek, could not find the starwars counterpart )

Upho withdraws his energy blades, looks around for a weapon on the ground. Finding a pistol, he picks it up and tries to shoot at the birdman.

" Yeah, someone is gonna have to clean this mess up. " Balus smirked," Luckily that's what they have janitors for." He was a little concerned that she seemed more worried about the engines than anything else, but tried not to show it.

Your shot breaks the field as the bird man exits out a portal.

The Captain barks and it can be heard over the comms. "ALL HANDS TO STATION! FIND THAT SHIP AND BLOW IT OUT OF THE SKY! I want a firing solution 30 seconds ago!"

The crew rushes back to their consoles to get to work.

Krystal, your board shows all green and clear, even as power is being drawn from the engines to the weapon systems.

Balus, the other security guys are looking to you to help out or give them instructions (you are the highest ranking security guy around...that's still alive or conscious).
