*she takes the offered beer. as before the taste isn't the greatest to her, but she's content to have something to drink.

'i think a little more fabric maybe or some sunscreen to cover .. oh not sure that would be safe either ... ' *she sips some more as she moves back to the water to wade knee deep in the water*

'i think i'm feeling better again. a little odd, but better. about earlier .. i'ld really like it if you could forget it .. k?'

*she's moved out of range of hte beachhouses and that Meta whom ever it was. she'll recall if she runs into them again, but thats all

Alice has to fight the urge to blush at Jason's whisper and nods at Mac. "No, tomorrow evening is fine. We'll try to come up with someone soon."

[dakota]

" Are you kidding?" Ryne gave Deci a sort of dirty look. avi only chuckled," Well, since you lost my truck..."

"I'll get it back for you" Ryne scowled, glancing at Deci and trying to figure out how Avi knew already.



" and his family was born in Kyoto, Is." Ashley replied, clearly devastated. " Isami, they'll disown me if they find out I don't care what they think."




Beth couldn't help but chuckle, and abruptly stopped. " Sorry, I shouldn't laugh." she placed her hand on his metallic forearm. " Tom, I don't care if you change into an oozing pile that escaped a sewage truck. You, and your friends saved me from that monster. And for that I'm grateful and will try to help. And," she looked up at him," if it's all right, I'd like to get to know you better."



Mac nodded as he headed out of the room," I'll make some calls then."
Jason couldn't help but break into a giggle, " Sorry, couldn't resist," he held his arms wide.


"Sierra, you look great just how you are." Kristian replied. " I'll forget it as soon as you forget how I reacted to seeing you like this for the first time. Deal?" He moved closer with a grin on his face. wherever the other meta was, as they moved into the water, it was out of renge.

"I'd like that" Tom smiles. "Maybe dinner, and a movie?"

"I am sorry. Avi asked and I did not feel right, so explained the entire thing to him. I was just bringing up flying as I thought last time this event was on a boat. I could have been mistaken though. I have no qualms on methodology to get there actually!" Deci feels bad about the entire thing but was only telling him the truth.

"I guess we could always rent a vehicle or see if we can borrow one downstairs. It is up to you though. I am good either way."

[Dome]

Isamu realizes what she means by what she said. He steps back and takes her hands in his. He holds them in his hands, holds them up and kisses the back of each one. He looks at her in the eye, "I think I understand what you are saying. I love you. I love you so much. I want to be with you forever, however I cannot ask you to turn you back on your family for me. I will not ask that. That would not be fair to you or them. I lost my parents in death Ashley, I cannot ask you to give up yours. I want you to know that no matter what, I will always support you and be here for you. I will always love you."

He swallows, and tears start to form in his eyes, his demeanor still calm, but obvious pain and sadness in his eyes. "This is your decision, I cannot make it for you. I..I, maybe I...*clears throat*...perhaps I should give you some time to think. I mean if that is what you want," he says as the tears start to run freely, he sighs deeply holding back a sob.

'okay. i'll try to pretend you didn't say what you did .. and start again . alright?'

*Sierra tries to look at the water and takes another sip of hte beer. 'so .. uhh .. walk on the beach often?' *its clear she's grasping at a straw now

Beth nodded, gave a light peck on Tom's metallic cheek and went inside. From the car, Janie whistled," You big tin stud." she chuckled



Kristian chuckled, " I think we're a little passed that point now." He paused, then looked Sierra straight in the face," unless that's what you want?"


Ashley through herself around Isamu, trying to withhold her own emotional breakdon. " Oh, Is, I want to be with you too, no matter what they say. Somehow I have to figure out how to tell them that."


"There's plenty of cars out in the yard." Avi said, still chuckling at Ryne's reaction.
" Laugh it up, Avi." Ryne scoffed, then looked at Deci, " All right kiddo, lets go before we miss the under card."

Deci not sure what to make of being called Kiddo. But decides it is nothing and goes along with it. "I am ready then." And heads out with the rest of them. She decides not to push her luck with Avi going on the flying thing.

If he could, Tom would blush. "OK...Saturday then?"

Alice giggles as she hugs Jason. Looking up at him, she asks "Do you have any ideas about who should go with us? Or do you know people who are already living there?"

Sierra finishes the beer and sighs. 'tonight's just not working out the way i was hoping. lets find a spot to look at the stars then'

she facepalms herself. 'i didn't get a new bandio .. i'm dead to any calls. well i guess that's good. i'm not on their time right now. i have a lot already to deal with already with 'him' and his issues. not sure i could handle some other issue of theirs'

*she offers her hand again 'yeah. i think its too late to start the night over again. maybe its just me. i felt odd and figured to share with you first'

Isamu holds her and says, "I am here Ash, I always will be, and I will help you. However, you must be sure this is what you want, due to what is at stake. Ashley, I will do what I can to try and make it easier for you and your family, however I cannot change who I am. I love you. I will lay down my life for you, and do everything in my power to make you happy and keep you safe. "

Isamu rubs her back and and just holds her trying to get his emotions in check. The thought of losing her his first true love, even just almost, brought back memories of how he felt when he lost his parents.

"I am sorry they would make you choose. I really am Ashley. I wish I was what they wanted for you," he whispers into her hair.

" there's no choice, Isamu." Ashley looked at him, wiping her eyes and forcing a smile. " Once they realize what I've become, even if they say nothing about it, I'll be an outcast to everyone but mom. with you I have what I want. If I have to go home, introducing you will be the worst of my problems." she took out her phone and thumbed a text back to her mother Then don't tell them yet. Will do myself when time is right. Love you mom She hit send and slid the phone back in her pocket, and took a deep breath," She'll do it. not the first secret she kept from the rest of the family. I still don't think daddy knows about the bear that attacked and caused my mutation. Now, both of us need to find something to cheer us up before you call your uncle. Any ideas?"


"Whoever we take is up to you." Jason replied." I don't ..., wait, there's one guy I used to.., or the other me...., or however this works." He shrugged. " Anyways, there's a guy I worked with in Glasgow that should be able to help if we need it. Name's Scott , and he's a scoudrel I'll warn you now, and you'll want to beat him by the fourth or fifth time he hits on you, but I think we can trust him."



"Saturday sounds good ." Beth said as she disappearred into her house. Tom was almost back to the car when he heard a shriek from inside "TOM!"

Janie just looked at him," Turn your band-adio on. I'll monitor from here and call for help if you need it." she said, losing the teasing manner as she pulled out her netbook from her oversized purse.


Kristian took the hand in his and led Sierra back up to the beach. He spread out the blanket and then took a seat, pulling her down playfully to sit with him. As he did, Sierra's cell phone chirped an incoming text. You kept your end of the bargain, ready keep mine. A

Kristian read it over her shoulder," Your family moves quick. We'll see Mac in the morning and get things rolling. we both know he won't pass this up."

'now that .. is gonna be harder to deny. family is already on the move and will stay that way till we get it set up. yeah, but one of hte others still has veto rights' *she sets the phone down and settles back to lean o nteh elbows and stare at the sky*
