Deci understands the message she is receiving off the group talking as a "let the adults talk" type thing the way her father always did when there was business to be had. As such she decides that now is the best time to just keep quiet and listen. A nigh impossible task for the young blabbermouth but somehow she manages to do so.
Instead of speaking aloud she uses a trick one of the therapists taught her on how to keep quiet and think her thoughts through. After hearing them completely in her head if they are worth saying, then she will speak. Perhaps it is the mayor. Perhaps it is that he knows how we were going to react to the entire situation. Actually perhaps even it was a trap set for us for reasons unknown. All someone would have to do is videotape it and I am sure a person with the right skills could make what we did look like the bad guys somehow, or even the big guy hoped that in his own powers he would be able to take one or two of us out. Oh well it is only assumptions at this point.[/color]

'oh .. then it wasn't cause of me then. alright. i was a little worried it might have been. i'll make sure to look up what we have for informant payments as well. each question answered will be entered individually. best i can do there, just so that others wont call up asking dumb questions and waste your time. work for you?
*with his family safer and the hope of funds of some sort coming his way, she hopes Arc will be more inclined to assist with answers now. wonders how long she'll be reading the forms for legal loopholes to slip through for him.
*with that between them she slides the paper over to him. 'i ran out of time thinking of questions .. sorry. it was the only way i could think of at the time to get the answers.
'other than that, if the 'life' seems right, you might be able to hang with that one and stop off someplace and be 'lost' in the countryside again. most need behind hte scenes help anyways. costumes are a pain .. and animals need tending, things like that.

Alice nods quietly as she replies "I won't go around telling everyone your secret." She had to admit to herself that she basically did that herself, with her ability to make her eyes look brown and, if she had the ability, would do more to hide what she was.

" I appreciate that." Dylin replied with a nod. " I'll have to be a bit more discreet. Just be sure not to try to read my mind. I will kick you out quite hard, and it warns me someone just tried to get in. Well, look who's up already." He said as Jason appeared in the doorway.
"Avi says I can walk, but thats it until he gets a chance to recoup a little bit. He wants to do one more session before he gives me a clean bill of health." Jason replied.

Arc looked at Sierra's list, smirking as she finished up. "It's not hard to disappear if you want to, it's staying hidden that is the hard part. If this isn't all your questions, or the wrong order, why don't you just ask them instead?"

"The mayor?" Ryne whistled as Beth nodded in agreement with Tom. The big man shook his head in disbeleif. " You think the mayor hired Ragnarok? What the hell for?"

'lets start with 'how many does he have working for him? there names and powers would be nice to know too. who's the one paying for it all? i don't think he could foot the bill himself. where does he take the ones he grabs off the street? .. think i better stop now .. and let you answer'
*covers the mouth and then picks up the cup to sip at the brew inside. this would be easier with her mouth piece, but looks away fro a moment to hide that thought, then her attention is back on Arc for the answers.

Deci still not sure what to make of it continues to watch and listen in. She would head off to another area but knows that the slurpee would start to melt and that would not do. Still learning how things are working on this team and the politics of the city she never knew about before. She wonders actually how much her father knows about these things.

Alice nods at Dylin and replies "That's good to know." She turns around and smiles, seeing Jason and walks over to him and gives him a hug. "It's good to see you up and about."

(Alice, Mac's description of what would happen if she tried to read him sounded familiar, but she couldn't place it)
Jason wrapped his arms around Alice with a warm smile despite being as unsteady on his feet as he was when they first met. " don't squeeze too hard." He warned with a grin, then looked at Mac, " So Alice was right, and you've been hiding this from me all along. What else have you hidden from me over the years, Dylin?"
MacColter didn't know how to answer.

" We need proof first." Ryne said, though nodding in agreement. " Odds are he'll just make Wraith a scapegoat anyways, and somehow twist that city hall didn't know what the goon squad was up to. Gonna be hard to find something that will stick on them."
Beth swallowed before speaking up, clearing her throat nervously," Maybe I can help? I have my press connections." She glanced at Tom, unsure.

"One question at a time, would you?" Arc said gruffly. "Well, you know Arnold. Then he has Fusion, who can unleash radiation, and Nero, who controls fire, and two others he calls Cutlass and Stiletto, but they didn't work with us. He hads drafted another one who called herself Angel, but I haven't seen her for a while, so either she bailed ofr is working deep cover. PAying for it? The taxpayers are, they're on the city payroll." He laughed

His popularity is through the roof because he's doing everything he promised when he stepped to fill the mayor's seat after he was killed. That's why an election hasn't been called, because no one is crazy enough to run against him and be embarrassed." she looked at Tom, " I owe you for getting me away from that monster, I want to help."
Ryne added," That's how he gets away with Wraith and his crew. By hiring metas to hunt down other metas, he he's showing he has some sway over our kind. And by snubbing outside help like us, he showing the public he can do it on his own. The guy is smart, I'll give him that."

Kinda happy someone heard her idea, actually involved her with the conversation. "That could be possibly true, still I would think someone on the inside could help. At least someone that may know where the so called bodies could be buried. But I am open to whatever you both say as everyone here is far more in the loop then I am when it comes to this city."

Alice returns the hug with a smile, but the smile disappears as she looks over at Mac, wondering if he was going to tell Jason the truth, her eyes trying to convey that Jason deserved to know the truth about himself.
