Coming soon!
Present are: Arcadian, Windchill, Tharsis, Troubleshooter, Power Armour, Sock-Puppet Man, a former highschool teacher turned bio-feedback zombie.
You know, before I write the post, I should re-iterate they only look like a zombie. They're still just intelligent people (well, as far as anyone but the great Grackle Billy Bishop knows). Also, I can reveal the alternate plot idea for this story. I had, at one point, thought maybe it would be cool if SPM's sock was actually a kind of alien parasite. Twist! And he needed the bio-feedback technology to keep his... humans alive longer. But then that fell downt he drain when SPM's human persona cam out and seemed to fit better. Basic greed is still fun though, right?

OK...
SO, the team are reviewing what the former teacher-turned-bio-zombie explained about the experiment he had isgned up for. He didn't look like the one that had been brought in during T/W/SPM's undercover investigation.
The doctor, according to the teacher, who's name apparantly Magnificent Johnson, seemed to be very convincing about the benefits. He did mention the quick decay but had suggested this time it wouldn't happen. He had a very pronounced German accent, almost exaggerated, and didn't seem quite like he was the person Magnificent was looking at. And he had that creepy smile, at times, like a hungry cat.
Troubleshooter was simply quiet. If possible, Sock Puppet Man's sock puppet was even greyer than usual.

Miranda looks concerned as she looks over at Troubleshooter and SPM as she listens to the doctor and what they had discovered during their investigation. She admits with a shrug, "I followed what I thought was a lead, but it seemed to be a dead end. I found an apartment which was registered to a Gary Snickersbar, but it didn't look like anyone actually lived there." Miranda looks over at Tharsis so he can tell the group what he had discovered.

" I followed someone from where Miranda was to (insert address). " Jamison reported. " I didn't get a look inside or at the driver. There was one weird security guard. Looks like something out of a horror movie. Four arms, fur, and ugly as sin. Something was going on in the basement but the place was locked up tight and I couldn't sneak in passed the guard before we got called in. Definitely something going on there though."

Troubleshooter pursed his lips as all the descriptions come up. "Well. I have an idea of whom. Who here knows the Freakmaker?"

Jamison shook his head. " Never heard of him. Should I have?"

Miranda looks thoughtful as she tries to recall if this name is one that she has heard in the past.

"Not sure, in my old reality I may have encountered him. But the name doesn't ring a bell." he paused, "Paragon had a lot people augmenting his mutants and other private experiments. How he got Zero-Quad to be an army of several thousand I'll never know..." Quinn shrugs.
This was not his reality so he was aware of people being heroes that weren't here. It was all very confusing at times..he tried not to think to deeply on this level.
"Gary might be a patient and that guard you mentioned being non-human...Sounds like something this Freakmaker might have made." he looked at TS, "I presume the name Freakmaker means he makes monsters...?"

OOC: Gary?
"Freakmaker," Troubleshooter says, as found in Villains Unlimited, "Is a product of the best madmen Europe has to offer. Probably started the whole Madmen in Europe movement. Long story short, he's appeared in North America a few times associated with any number of illegal experiments, mostly on the homeless. Nasty guy, too: no morals. He must have edged McPhee out of his position at the Foundation and corrupted it for his own means."
Troubeshooter glanced at the paused tape of Johnson's statement.
"So, defrauding a charitable agency, plus the experiments. And we get to nail a really sick guy. Who's in?" He asked, implying the raid to arrest him. "We know where his private lab is, but if he's got more than one Hellhound, this will be tough."
"Wait, wait." Poweramour says. "What about McPhee and that phone guy, Kendall?"
Troubleshooter looked over at him. "Kendall's just a pawn. Otis's a victim, I guess. Either way, they'll probably have to testify if we get Freakmaker."

Miranda listens to Troubleshooter and asks "So, do we want to go back to the house Tharsis was at and try to do more recon? And do we have to keep an eye on this Kendall fellow? If he ends up being a witness, I'm guessing he might end up being a target as will McPhee."

" I'm in, but what's a Hellhound?" Jamison said in curiousity," You mean whatever that guard was?"
[ooc Gary, as in the Gary Snickersbar you referred to in Miranda's report I would imagine]

(OOC: Gary didn't exist. It was a rouse. Charger feels no vindication.)
Troubleshooter nodded. "Yes, it sounds like it is a hellhound. As for targets, I can't say. Even if Freakmaker escapes, it's possible he'll just move on, so maybe the witnesses won't face anything."

Jamison didn't both hiding his concern," So other than whatever that Hellhound guy was, does this Freakmaker work by himself, or are we taking on an army of those things while he slips out the back?"

(OOC: Vindication is for us mere mortals...) "I can contact Mc Phee and work with him if he needs protection. I may need a little back up as I'm a non-powered type." he was looking moving a coin across his knuckles easily, "Hellhound? I don't like the sound of that," he paused.
"I'll need to get better weapons...Razor cards a few trick cards and knives will not be enough." he grinned, "And I think I have something in mind. PA, I may need your help if you know tech." he was thinking about a more conventional weapon...one the Heckler taught him and used, The BOW.
Quinn disliked the gun, to him a bow was more primitive version of a gun. Stylish yes, but he'd end up looking like Robin Hood or some comic book hero like the Green Arrow. Still one had to do what one did.
"I'd bet a guy like him has a few guards of his own. Better guards that you have a hold over. He probably has them addicted to something only he can make or some sort drug they need to survive." he hoped he was wrong.
"Do we have a lay out of the place?"

Miranda nods at Jamison's question, also interested in hearing the question. "Where do we go from here?" she asks quietly.
