Karson nodded to Arcadian. "I'll see what I can do." And with that, he left Arcadian to his work. By the sound of the door closing, and the lock, Karson wasn't kidding about his loneliness.

Power Armour looked over at SPM then Tharsis. "Hey, can you actually see digital photos on a camera if you're invisible?"

" I don't know, PM. I've never tried." Jamison replied. He turned to Troubleshooter. " I didn't say I wouldn't do it. It's just I have to go in like this instead of transforming into Tharsis because of my wings. I'd feel a little better if I had some armor or something, but I'll get us in."

Power mArmour shrugged. "No biggee. I was just thinking it would be safer for you if we didn't have to tell you on a radio if you get pictures because they might hear you."

Troubleshooter looked hard at Tharsis. He was doing a cost-benefit analysis in his mind. "If you get too far in and get in trouble we won't be able to help you in time. You'ld be stuck in your other form, unable to move. If you can accept that level of danger, then we'll go with the plan... And at leeast get you a vest."

OOC: Kurff, we'll make your smoke bomb production easy. Pick two or three skills that would represent disassembling a smoke bomb, altering its payload, and reassembling it or creating a new form like an arrowhead. Roll those skills for each smoke bomb. If at least one roll fails, the bomb is either a dud or won't assemble. It'll take a half hour to produce each bomb. We'll assume that Karson found a weapons expert to help. Proceed!

Jamison nodded," I'll do it. I know the big guy will be coming through the door if anything happens." He patted PA's shoulder. " I'll take my communicator, but I won't turn it on unless I have to in case they can detect it."

Miranda listens quietly as plans are made to infiltrate the house, trying to think of anything she could contribute.

The group went silent for a moment. "Well." Troubleshooter sighed. "We can't do too much until Arcadian has his arsenal ready. In the meantime, we need something else... that's staring us right in the face..." He smacks his face. "You are 100% Certain you saw Hellhound? Could you pick him out from old file photos?" He asked Tharsis. "If you can, we could hop straight to the raid."

Before Tharsis could answer, Power Armour exclaimed in suprised. He was looking at his device with some intensity.

"Power Armour, could we focus on the task at hand?" Troubleshooter grunted.

"Oh, no, you totally have to see this!" He says, and he plugs the machine into the projector. Only Kendall would know how, but he wasn't there to explain it, so it might as well have been magic.

Desk anchor: "And, it looks like SHOCK will have to watch their own backs in this interesting turn of events. Jimmy has more."

THe screen switches to a reporter, apparantly named Jimmy Jenkins.

"Thanks Wei." Jimmy says. "This grocery store was the scene of an odd encounter yesterday evening, when at 7:23 PM, a van sporting the SHOCK - the Superhuman Oppression and Control Knights - pulled up. Apparantly, inside was a superbeing, one now confirmed as an alien visitor, shopping for his evening dinner. Customers said that, until he was approached by the men in SHOCK uniforms, the being, known as Billy, was very cordial and polite, even helping old ladies getting items off the top shelves. The SHOCK men put an end to that in short order when they approached Billy."

At this point, the screen shows a very tall lizard-man with a large sword pushing a human-sized cart rather daintily, trying to shop like humans did. The screen would then play out th various activities with the SHOCK members.


"According to witnesses, they SHOCK men demanded Billy show them his identification. Whereupon Billy requested theirs. Then, the SHOCK members demanded to see the permit Billy had for his sword. Billy then requested to see the permits for their firearms.

"After that, things seemed to devolve. According to witnesses, the SHOCK troopers attempted to take the sword from Billy. Billy blocked them, and had their rifle in his hands before they stood up. By this time, CSPD had arrived. The SHOCK members were damanding his arrest for theft... and, at this point, things get sketchy, since police are not saying much. Witnesses say that Billy pointed out how the rifle's serial number was removed, and that the weapon might have been alien technology. The police then apprehended the SHOCK members, their van and everything inside."

"Certainly a strange night for a grocery store who, according to the manager, 'only sees a half dozen shoplifters a week, and none of them as pleasant as Billy was.'"

The screen shifted back to Wei the anchor (hee hee. get it?).

Wei the anchor: "Well, just goes to show you, that even SHOCK can get their plans turned around on them. IN other news...."

"Heavens to jimminies!" SPM said. "That's the one I saw Kendall with when we were searching high and low for witnesses."

" Yeah, I'd recognize him." Jamison said. " Be hard not to."

He turned his attention to PA," I thought that Kendall guy was a dead end?"

"He is and he isn't, apparantly." Troubleshooter shrugs. This new development threw him. "Billy seems like a cop, which means he's helping Kendall with something and my gut tells me it's related to the bio-zombies. Just wish we knew what."

Three hours later Arcadian now has at least 3 working arrowhead smoke bombs. Of the 4 that are assembled (with the help of the weapons expert), he does not know which.

The weapons expert looks over at him. "New at this, huh?" He asks, as he refines one of the arrow-head casings from a grenade shell.

Yeah, I come ahh ...You might not believe this. but I am from different reality where I have the Archimedes doing my tech work. That and I'll be honest was never a big fan of the bow." he paused, looking at the arrow.

"My mentor made me learn the bow.." Quinn commented dryily "All part of a 'proper' education. He said guns were not elegant enough according to him." and shrugged.

[dakota]

" We can't be in two places at once." Jamison said with a shrug. " It's either this Kendall or the Doctor's place. Unless," he chuckled," you can figure a way to lure Kendall to the doctor's place."

Troubleshooter shook his head. "We'll leave Kendall be." He said. "He's not the concern here."

[dakota]

" Just checking. I'd sooner take of the freaks than pick on some repair man anyways." Jamison replied

"I tend not to discount any weapon." Said the expert working with Quinn. He put the fourth arrowhead with the other three. "How many are we planning on making?"

"Well, then, let's look at mugshots." Troubleshooter said, refocusing on the task at hand. "Tharsis, you're with me. The rest of you might as well get yourselves ready for the raid."
