Sarah frowns at the girl as she asks "He was a biter? Did he ever .. leave a hickey?" Sarah had been about to ask if he had ever drawn blood, but felt it probably wasn't the best question to ask.
Noticing the leather jacket, she stares at it with her head tilted 'Is that... I wonder if Tally lost her leather jacket?' Out loud, she asks "That's a nice jacket. Can I ask where you got it from?"

"Oh. This old thing? It was Gus's. I was cold and he lent it to me. I was gonna give it back to him tonight and break it off, then he just looked at me and I couldn't say no. you know?" As he hand fell back to her side and she slides off the jacket, there is make-up covering up a pair of bites... she was one away from being turned. "Where did Gus go?"

A chill runs down Sarah's spine as she sees that this girl was so close to being turned. Thinking quickly, she says "He had to go. Besides," she adds "he's really not that great a guy. You're really much better off without him in your life." Looking worried she adds "You don't look so good. Here, let's get you to a doctor so we can make sure you're ok." Sarah intended to get the girl to Tobrias in the hopes they could keep her safe and away from Gus so he couldn't complete the process of turning her.

"No. No, here, though." She says, handing over the jacket. "I never really liked it anyways. I'll be fine. What I will do is call the cops on him, put out a restraining order." She shudders. "You know those guys that look sweet, but are kinda stalkerish?"
Looking out into the mall, she adds, "I think a week at my parents' cottage, outside the city, yeah." And she heads off into the shopping centre, leaving Sarah holding the old jacket.

Sarah smiles at the girl in an encouraging manner as she takes the jacket. "That's a good idea. Spending some time out of the city is a good way to get away from guys who seem to be all stalkerish." After she leaves, Sarah turns to Coop and asks him quietly "Do you recognize this jacket? It was Tally's fathers. I think we need to see Tobrias right away to let him know what happened."

Strangely quiet until the girl left, Coop nodded. " Yeah, let's head over there before we run into anymore trouble. She's lucky." He said, watching her go. " I saw the suckhead talking to you before he vanished. Did he say anything that's gonna make me worry?" He smirked slightly.

Sarah chuckles quietly. "Well, the only thing I'd be worried about is if he really attempts to kill me. Otherwise, he's not really my type." Sarah winks at Coop and reaches over and takes his hand as they start in the direction of the guild. As they walk, she asks quietly "You ok? You seem to be feeling quiet."

"Maybe that's why we couldn't find her." Coop replied with a deep breath. " If the vamps found her and turned her, do you really think you could stake her? I mean she's our friend, no matter how big a pain in the ass."

Sarah glances up at Coop and is quiet as she contemplates his question. Stopping, she glances around to make sure no one is listening as she says gently, "Coop.. the most important thing to remember is.." Sarah pauses for a second before continuing "if she has been turned, then she's dead. She may have some of Tally's memories and may act like Tally, but it won't be Tally. You have to remember that if she has to be turned."

Sarah's face darkens and she sounds upset as she replies "I've never had to stake someone who used to be my friend either. And it's not like I'd enjoy doing it, if she was turned. It's what i have to do.. whether I want to or not." With that, Sarah turns and strides away angrily.

As Coop attempts to sooth the ties between him and Sarah (yeah right... cause they're so fragile), they make their way back to the Guild offices. As they enter, they see Tobrias step out of his office to greet them. "Welcome, do you have any news on the Munter school and... is that the jacket I think it is?"
