Not noticing at first, coop quickly nodded as caught on to what Sarah was refering to. " I'll get the girl out of the way so you can do your thing. Hey..." He looked around at the different stores," There's a novelty shop here somewheres. A couple water guns would come in handy don't you think?" He smirked, trying not to draw the vamp's attention to them.

Sarah grins and replies softly "Now that sounds like a great idea. I'll keep an eye on those two if you can go in and get them?" Sarah leans up and gives Coop a quick kiss waiting to hear his response.

" Be back in a few. Stay safe." Coop whispered, stealing a quick glance at their quarry as he headed for the novelty shop, checking where the public washroom was so he could fill them up before returning.

Sarah nods and whispers back "You too" As Coop heads over to the shop, she finds a place where she can keep an eye out on the couple as she pretends to browse the shops nearby.

Coop manages to obtain a pair of medium plastic water guns from a nearby toy store. The clerk eyed him suspiciously, not really believing his cover story for getting them.
Watching the couple was a bit tedius. The vampire just kept making flirty kissy faces and the girl made them back. She had to have looked towards the mirror a dozen times without noticing he wasn't there.
As Coop was coming back with the filled water guns, Sarah notices the vampire point in the direction of one of the back halls.

Sarah watches the couple curiously, wondering how the girl could miss the fact that her date had no reflection. She wonders if the girl knows that her date is a vamp and just doesn't care. When Coop arrives with the water guns, she takes one with a smile "Thank you." Glancing back at the couple, she says "Ok, showtime. You know the routine." Giving him a hug, she says "Stay safe." Sarah then heads in the direction of the couple, actiing as if she was just heading in their direction on her own.

Coop nodded, " You too." He didn't like that Sarah had the hard part, but he'd come to accept it. He hung back, pretending to be making a call on his cellphone while waiting for her to do her thing before moving in to get the girl clear.

As Sarah starts to harmless-lookingly stalk the vamp and the girl, the target's pace quickens as he heads for the exit at the end of the hallway. The girl keeps up too, not even looking back to see why. Coop can also see the Vamp pick up his pace.
It's clear to both Coop and Sarah that the Vamp'll make it to the door if he's not stopped more aggressively.

Sarah sighs and gets as close as she can and fires the water gun at the vamp (strike: nat 20) aiming for the vamp's back.

The water blast hit the vamp square in the back, the splashing water causing him to turn and hiss.
"What is it baby?" Asks the girl on his arm with a dreamy bimbo voice - which is hard to understand cause the Vampire wasn't all that good looking and clearly a Secondary. "You trip on something?"
"Keep for the door." He says authoritatively to the girl. "I'll be right with you." After a second, his voice forcibly softens. "I just owe them money. Don't worry."
"Oh, OK." Says the girl as she turns and walks anxiously to the door, looking back every second.

Sarah does her best to smile politely at the girl as she walks towards the door. Once the girl is gone, her smile disappears and she stares at the vamp as she cautiously walks closer, and shoots the water gun at him again. (strike: 15)

Once Sarah had the vamp separated from the girl, Coop ran past towards the door, squirting wildly as he past ( str= 7 with penalty) and kept heading towards the door. He didn't bother saying anything so he didn't distract Sarah, instead stoping in the doorway so he could watch both the Sarah and the Vamp's lunch, trying to keep his concern hidden.

"I know who you are, Lockheart." Says the vampire. "No little Hunter to help the Decree slayer." He closes in on Sarah. "I'm not afraid of you." With a grin, he says "The Master gives his compliments." And, in a heartbeat, he turns to mist and escapes through a vent shaft. His mental laughter rings in the halls.
The girl, however, leans against the wall, as if woosy, the Vampire's control lost.

Sarah sighs in frustration at the vamp's escape and makes a note to tell Tobrias about the mention of this 'Master' so they could try to figure out who it might be.
Walking over to the girl and Coop, Sarah smiles quietly at both and asks the girl "Are you all right?"

"Huh? Am I... where am I? Last I remember, I was talking to Gus at lunch. Not all that good looking... but still charming, fun, kind of rough... a biter, you know? Got me a couple times." She absently rubs her neck, the leather jacket rustling... the familiar leather jacket... now, who owned that Jacket? Funny, cause this isn't her.
