Mei hops up and runs to her bags and pulls out her netbook and heads back to the room. "I am not sure I have decided if I like this little thing yet or not. But it is handy to carry around and light and small. Sometimes I worry if I am going to break it or not. Maybe after if I win or not I will buy a proper laptop." She hands the little thing over so Peter can hook it up.

"Sounds like it fits you well," Kendall says with a smile. "I'm just teasing. When you win, I'll take you laptop shopping, or before, its up to you."
He takes the machine from her once she turns it on, and he enters the Wifi connection information. Once its connected he hands it back to her. He goes to his desk in the corner and picks up his laptop from there. He uses the CSTel white page website to look up the address on the paper and see if there is a name and address associated with it. He also checks the cities site for the same info.

Mei starts typing away looking at places on the web. She starts talking to herself. "OK let me see here, would prefer open concept, preferably 2 bedroom, top floor preferred. 1 Bedroom is ok because it is just me but 2 would work better." She starts to scan, listening in to see if Peter says anything.

Kendall stops after a moment of online searching and just looks at Mei. He can't believe that he has a beautiful woman in his apartment, sitting on his sofa.
He says to her, "uh, you looking to rent or buy."

"I am thinking of buying. If I buy one flat out then all I have to worry about is condo fees and utilities and such. That is depending if I buy a house or a condo. Personally I am leaning towards a condo, because I have no need of a yard and no urge to do yardwork. If I had a S.O. I would probably lean more towards a house, but that is the future...." She trails off.

She decides to leave the comment of what the S.O. was and smiles inwardly. "Never mind. It is just a thing. But that does not matter. No I am definitely looking to buy and condo." She says with a grin.

"Well obviously a thing. Fine don't tell me. Maybe if I'm nice enough, one day you will. So you want to buy a condo. Hmmm... I guess we'll have to look for one available for you. I was going to say if you wanted to rent I could call my landlord and see if there any openings here."

"I think you should stay here as long as you like, and only get what you want. No sense on getting into a lease or something like that if you want to buy a place. That and this way you can save some money until you buy something."

Kendall pauses and thinks over what she said for a moment, "Mei there is something you need to know about me. I don't just say things. I say what I mean. So if I am saying stay here, I mean stay here. I don't expect anything from you. I just find it easy to talk to you. I enjoy being around you."

"No I imagine not, and I promise I will try not to be an imposition at all. And it is until I get my place or we go on enough dates or something along those lines. But if I am staying here I have one request especially since this sofa is sooo very comfy. If I can have the couch over the bed, and that would mean I would not feel guilty for being an imposition. Specially since I can not cook, so I can not make you food or stuff, and looks like you are cleaner then I usually am."
