CH 16: Moving on... (Mai and Kendall)

[sasqaricious]

She does her best to smile and when she speaks her voice sounds like, well like she has been throwing up. I may need to take a bath if that is ok?

[Dome]

Kendall says, "oh yeah, that is fine. Umm, I'll start the water then step out."

He then gets up and starts the water on the bath. He looks around and says, "Let me go get you a fresh towel and washcloth." He leaves the bathroom and returns only minutes later with a clean wash cloth and towel.

[sasqaricious]

Still in a rhaspy voice. "Thank-you Peter. I am sorry that I made this night a little worse then it was. I would give a kiss but that would probably not be in either of our best interests!"

[Dome]

"Stop that. How man times do I have to tell you, you never have to apologize to me? Enjoy your bath," he says as he turns to walk out. Stopping at the door he smiles and then says flirtingly, "unless you need someone to wash your back?"

[sasqaricious]

"I would, but I don't think that would be proper until we were married! I am sorry, I am an old fashioned type a girl."

[Dome]

Kendall smiles, "I was only teasing anyway. What kind of man do you think I am anyway," he asks mock indignantly hands on his hips a pout on his face. Then he adds with a smile, "I never take baths. Men prefer showers," he sticks his tongue out to her then says, "we'll have to get working on that marriage thing I guess," shrugging his shoulders before leaving the bathroom and closing the door behind him.

He stops out side the bathroom his eyes wide as he just realized he technically proposed.

Mei remains silent after you shut the door. Not being with it she actually did hear what peter said but did not register it. She does hop in the bath for a short one. Before crawling out and wrapping a towel around her.

Upon the opening to the door she walks the length to the room puts on her PJ's and heads out to the couch.

[Dome]

When Mei comes out of the bathroom she finds Kendall laying on the sofa, it already made up as a bed and he is lieing on it. He isn't sleeping, just staring at the ceiling. He looks up at her as she approaches, "hi hun, was it a good bath?"

[Renekin Skywalker]

"Marriage?" an Aussie voice (familiar to Kendall). "Marriage? You've know her... two weeks! Crikey."

[Dome]

"Yeah I know, I was actually just thinking you could be the best man. It was your idea for us to stick together," Kendall says with a smile and a wink towards Mei. He stands up and looks around trying to figure out where the voice is hiding.(don't think he ever got Charger's name)

[Renekin Skywalker]

As Kendall looks around, Charger stands up to his full height... on the roof. The ceilings, tall enough to house a full-sized Grackle, also were high enough that a full-grown male could stand on the roof, and one on the floor, and still be about head to head. "Kiss me, Mary Jane." He says, grinning under his smart red and black mask.

[Dome]

Kendall sighs, "no kisses for you. So what do you want now?"

Mei has no idea what to think and feeling the way she is she backs up and almost falls before stopping in a hover. Having never met this person before and the way Peter is joking with him about marriage and all that, she is not sure what to think.....other then have a semi-complete freaked look on her face!

[Dome]

Kendall sees Mei look he walks up to her and gives her a hug. "Don't worry hun. Everything is ok. He's harmless." He brushes a lock away from her face. Ignoring charger he says to her, "how are you feeling now?"

"I am not feeling well, but if he is harmless I am going to go and lay down." She still has a worried look on her face but feels too much like crap to do anything. She knows it will pass shortly but until then...

As such she sees the couch free and goes and lies down passing out very quickly.
