"I feel that I did pretty good as a personal opinion as I did not feel as if I made any errors. But that is a self judgment" She speaks to the judge. If she sees Daveris anywhere she will feel mildly saddened and keep composed and break down after the judging happens.

"Well yes, there is always room for improvement. I felt in my last performance one of my notes was off but I am not sure as it sounded right in my head but I am not one hundred percent sure." She is now not as sure of herself as they seem awfully questioning of her but refuses to show doubt in the face of fire.

Kendall considers going after Devaris, but decides to wait and see how Mei does. She will probably want to go console her friend.
He cringes at the questions the judges ask Mei but smiles at her answer. He mutters, barely audible, "good answer hun."

"It"s just that,we al agree." Says the first judge, "That we think you are going to need a lot of practice to get anywhere." He continues sternly. Then, before Mei can answer, he says, "Especially if you expect to get anywhere over the next few weeks, since you're in the top 20."

Kendall frowns and his anger flares for a second as he listens to the judges. He is happy for Mei when he hears that she actually made it.

Even though she has seen the shows like this enough, and was pretty sure she made it. She never thought she would be on the receiving end of one of those fake-outs. When she realizes what they had said she jumps up and down and screams with joy. Unfortunately forgetting that Daveris did not make it, she still runs to Daveris overjoyed and hugs her, and then to Kendall and hugs him. It is after this calming moment she remembers Daveris.
"Oh Daveris I am so sorry." She says with a couple of tears as she suffers the mixed feelings of having a dream come true and your worst nightmare in one bout.

GM would like to note that Mei hasn't seen Daveris, and does not yet know her fate.
First, though, she is ushered away, back to the black room, to tell the rest, however she wants to tell them. Be it super happy dances or a fake-out of her own...
Got to do it the way the show says to. :-P She can hug other people, such as the new telecom engineer, later.
Kendall gets to watch as she is steered around, back off the stage...
After a few minutes, Daveris appears. "How did she do, Peter?" She asks Kendall quietly.

"Yeah." Daveris says. "I kind of thought this would happen." She lets out a sigh. "Would have been fun, though, if I got in. Next year, though, right?" She doesn't seem on the verge of crying, but certainly looks like she could use a hug.

Kendall walks up to her and puts his still flesh and bone arm around her.
"I thought you did great, and I think your going to be fine in whatever you do. Do you need anything?"

Mei getting over to the room is overcome with joy and doing that bouncy contestant winning thing with the scream too. "I got in, I got in." And that is when she looks around and realizes her friend was not there. In fact neither of them were and she had no one to really share it with. But being stuck in here for a bit until the announcements are done so she can talk to the two of them.

Daveris lets herself be hugged, as she pulls Kendall's other arm over her shoulders (Like in a friend hug). Sighing, she says, "It's really going to be hard not to be jealous of Mei. I hope she understands." And she rests her head on his chest.
Mei
After getting all their kudos, she waits with the rest as they chat excitedly about what's to happen next, exchanging phone numbers and stuff. Several of them also chat Mei up about her performances, and stuff, wanting to know where she trained to be so light on her feet, and such. Cameras were everywhere.
After some time, she was finally let out. And, making her way to Kendall, she sees him... Hugging Daveris!!!!! With her HEAD on his CHEST!!!!!! OMGOMGOMG!!!1111!!!11!!

Kendall allows Daveris to pull his other arm over knowing in her sadness she might need the comfort, but after a second, he pulls his bionic arm away. He hopes Mei can do something to make her feel better, because he doesn't know what to do.

Mei takes the whole situation in, seeing Daveris's head on Peters shoulder and knows that it means her friend did not get in at all. I wonder if I give up my spot in the competition if she would be allowed to continue on. I mean I know she is sad and that is probably why she wants comfort so I should not view this as jealousy. She thinks to herself a mixture of emotions flowing through her.
Her decision is one that even surprises her. It seems to be a very adult decision. As she slowly walks up to the Engineer and her friend. "Daveris, I am so sorry. I just wish there was something I could do. If there is anything I can do just let me know.""
Deep in her heart she was hoping Peter would be hugging her in congratulations but will give the time.....not to much though. "Come her so I can give you a hug Daveris."
