"OK if it will make you feel better." Krystal then starts to float away out of range of the little one even though she realizes that it may view them as a toy. She realizes quickly though if worst comes down to it she may be able to use this to their advantage by leading the baby away and getting the group to follow should any danger happen.

On each of your instruments, you can see one of the adult void whales is closing in on Krystal and Balus

"Well the forcefield I have up is two-thirds my full strength and can probably survive a blast from the ships main gun. I am pretty sure, at least I hope it is that it can survive anything the whales will do. At least hopefully a blast or two if that is what they do!" And with that Krystal although prepared to run stays her ground until the whale arrives.

"Have faith Balus but if it does make you feel a little better." With that she starts to hover backwards. Not at full speed but enough to show that they mean no harm to the creatures. If they break off their approach she will read it as aggression and not approach again, if the continue to move forward she will assume curiosity instead.

Balus and Krystal manage to maneuver away from the creatures as they seem to disappear into the void.

Krystal happy because of the adventure that she just had and also happy with all the data they may have just gathered for the scientists. She mildly is worried that Balus considering his reactions might not be as willing to hang with her again, but that is a decision for another day!
