It's decided that Balus and Krystal will be part of a survey team doign a space walk outside the hull of one of the Errasa ships, while Kiadan and Fuse play host to some of their scientists aboard the Victory.

Slycer smiles as he finishes suiting up Balus. "Have fun on your date, kid." he whispers just low enough that Balus can hear. When Krystal enters with her instruments, Slycer does his best to shove the big Bio-Freak towards her. "Be careful with the big guy - I just broke him in and I'm not ready to lose one of my best meat shields." He leans intowards Krystal "and he gets space-sick, so watch out."

" that's not why I almost got sick and you know it." Balus replied, looking back at his partner. "I was getting sick because...," he stopped and turned back to Krystal," it doesn't matter now. We better get going." He shook his head as he glanced back at Slycer," I'll show you meatshield when I get back."

Krystal looks at Balus's partner and just shakes her head. She is pretty sure he is just trying to get a rise which is why she does not push it. She then turns to Balus, "Why Balus I do believe for some reason that there are people jealous of us getting to walk on the outside of a ship! Personally I think it will be peaceful as space always is." She then turns back to the person in charge. "If more wish to come they can as part of my abilities allow me to create atmospheres for others if need be." Secretly hoping that will not be the case but knows this is a diplomatic situation and her wants may be overided easily enough.

Balus was impressed. " You can really do that? That's pretty cool."

Kiadan floats along at head level with the new scientists. "I do not stand on titles, only abilities. If you cannot help then you are of no use in this science lab," she says in a stern tone. "However, as I was selected to be head scientist they did not consult me on crew placement. I make do with what I have," she smiles. "What do you wish to see first, Sentients?"

(Kiadan)
The Alien scientists introduce themselves one by one - it appears that between the nearly two dozen of them, they cover every speciality you can imagine. They ask for a tour of your scientific facilities.
(Balus and Krystal)
The two of you along with another couple of Victory crewmen find yourself spacewalking along the hull of one of the Errasa vessels. Up close, you can see some of the scaring, piting and decay from a long journey in space and hard radiation soak.
(Fuse - I'll give you something as soon as you post)

Krystal goes to speak in the void and then remembers to herself that space requires air to talk. With that she throws up a bubble of atmosphere around herself and Balus, and the others if they are in the radius. (15 foot diameter IIRC)
She takes in a breath of air before speaking. "There that is better. Don't you think Balus?"

Kiadan nods and smiles leading the scientists to the science room. "These are our facilities upon ship," she says opening the door. "They make good assistants," she says pointing out at them. "As head of Scientific Research it is my duty to oversee much of their work and relate this to the captain. I still however find time to work upon my own projects." She glances over the current work and clears her throat. "Doctors," she says turning to her staff. "We are to host these Sentients for a few days. Are there any works in particular you wish to show them?"
Kiadan eyes the crew before her with a critical eye. "Why must I be relegated to these duties of diplomacy? Still much can be learned by their interactions."

Beneath his helmet, Balus grinned," I think I'll keep my suit sealed, just in case, but as long as no Tarloks show up, I'll be happy. I can think of things I'd rather be doing though." He glanced at Krystal. " I gotta ask. You said something about a solar bed earlier?"

"Yes Richol came up with it as an idea. Much of my sustenance comes from solar rays and as we are no where near a sun it was decided something better would work. I can gain nourishment from normal lights but solar rays give me a boost to what I can normally do." She answers to Balus before continueing on.

(Kiadan)
One of the alien scientists raises her hand. "I would like to know more about your sensor systems - you seem to have made some advancements of interests."
Another huffs. "No dissrespect, but your people are primitive at spaceflight technology - you don't even have any energy screens."
(Balus and Krystal)
One of the Errasa engineers responds. "Our fleet has been in deep void for over-one moment please-" as he consults a readout projected onto the glass of his helmet. "Eighty-Four of your years."

Fuse stays back and out of the way, he’s no scientist and no diplomat at least not until the diplomacy come and the end of a gun and all thought a space walk could be fun it’s not his thing at all.
“Balus, just remember to keep your eyes open and pay attention to ALL your surroundings would ya”

" 84 years?" Balus exclaimed in suprise. " Wow, can't imagine being stuck on a ship that long. I know I'd go stir crazy." In his mind though, was elsewhere.

Krystal whistles. "Impressive, guess that means you have a solid piece of machinery here then." With that she bends over and looks at the score marks on the ship more closely. "/well I guess we were to inspect it fully out here, guess we should continue on?" All the while making notes on her personal computer.

“The improvement to the sensor system is a two fold improvement,” Kiadan says in a neutral tone of voice. “We calibrated it to specifically take all readings, while this can be cumbersome the computer on the ship analyzes the data and then spits out a new search for the sensor based upon the data received. The second set is far more accurate.” She grins to the scientists. “And expanding its range was the work of those two sentients there,” she waves a small hand in the direction of two of her staff. “They determined to make the entire ship a sensor device which allows for much larger readings than normal.”
Turning to the annoyed scientist Kiadan smiles. “This is the first venture into deep space we have attempted, naturally we do not have the sophisticated machines and technology of other space faring races. However with exposure to them we can quickly adapt and create the technology. We need only discover it to help propel our scientific endeavors onward.”
((OOC: Hopefully that sounds technical… and um… correct. I have no clue how space sensors work. I was working with Sonar.))
