Krystal sighs knowing that she will probably not be able to win this battle with Balus. "Fine we will head back to the interior of the ship, I am sorry I am probably not being practical by this but it is just that, it is so very beautiful." She will follow Balus in rather having to fix the damage caused then miss the opportunity to watch these creatures.

"Of course," Kiadan agreed. She smiled an arched an eyebrow. "Do you wish to collect the data first hand? As much as I enjoy science and it's applications, our primary concern is to keep our ship safe."
She looked at each of the scientists. "Now, let's see what readings we can get from a distance that will not require our ship to be destroyed."

"Yes but if we really wanted to stay out here I think I that between my forcefields and powers over space I might be able to keep us safe. Or you know, I could go try to steer them away from the ship. I mean that might be able to keep us safe!" She says aloud to Balus, while looking at the whales.

Balus scowled at Krystal's persistance. " Well I'm not leaving you out here alone." He turned to the rest of the party. " The rest of you had better get inside before they move the ship." He looked back at Krystal. " I hope you know what you're getting us into."

"I hope so as well, and Thank-you for giving me this chance." With that she grabs Balus if he lets her and starts hovering towards the whales. She pulls out her radio. "This is Krystal with Balus, we are going to see if there is some way to divert the whales or at least get a closer look at them!" Then she starts to increase speed to get their as fast as possible.

The enthusiastic scientist quiets down, as another member of the science group speaks up. "Doctor! We have a transmission from two of our crewmates! They are journeying towards the whales! The Captain wants to know if you think it's safe for them and is patching their communication through to you!"

You move towards the magnificent creatures....roll navigation and a sense of balance please

Krystal continues to move along until she reaches top speed pulling poor Balus along. Too be cautious she does throw up a near full strength forcefield around them (2000 SDC) and fills it with atmosphere. "Oh this is going to be soo cool." Continuing to head towards the beasts.

Bals' reply wasn't quite as excited," Yeah. Cool. Krystal, you get me eaten, I'm never going to forgive you for it." He said, his uncomfortableness carrying in his voice as they approached the creatures.

" Allowing myself?" Balus said in suprise. " It wasn't my idea to go buzzing around ship sized vacuum creatures. Just keep in mind that since my feet left those deck plates, it's in your hands. And as sad as it is, I like my life very much." He hung his helmet in disbelief and groaned. " Cripes, we argue like my parents..."

"Do I think it's safe to go towards a giant creature which generates it's on gravity to propel itself through space?" Kiadan asked over the comm. "I'm not sure if that was supposed to be funny or a serious question."
She's quiet for several moments. "If they are anything like common whales they won't notice human sized creatures. This is both good and bad. Good because they could literally attach themselves to the side of a whale and it would be doubtful it would feel you," she explains over the radio. "The bad half of this equation is that it cannot see you and should it collide into you or hit you with it's tail or fin the damage could be insurmountable." She's quiet for a moment to let the space explorers have that sink in. "You're going regardless aren't you?" she says in a happy tone. "The data gained would be well worth the danger I suppose. I and the other scientists will compose a list of tests we'd like you to do while on and near the whales, please be patient."

Kiadan's assistant points you to a control mechanism. "I think we can get you real-time communication with the expeditionary team. On that line Doctor."
