Revenge Of The Sith, Episode 3, the upcoming movie On a side note, the trailer makes it look like a bunch of fluff and eye candy, not that I'm expecting much more.

Maybe this will be the first widely released written-by-lucas event I won't actually see until it comes out on TBS.

Crap... great... thanks to DAKs, I've just poked about the Star Wars site, and, if I'm right, that's when Anakin gets his Black & Dekker warranty for the first time, right?
Looks like I'll have to rent it now... can't wait for TBS.

You're probably too young to remember this, but the Dukes of Hazzard was an honest-to-god show... And, when it first came out, it was just as corny... I see nothing wrong with them keeping tradition... ;D

I find, the bast way to not be upset with hollywood is to never have high expectations. That way, when it's crap, it's really just par for them, and that means it's a normal out, which means it'll be good. See how that works? Our self-delusions cancels out their self-delusion, and hollywood movies are fun again.

Well, March 2004 i crewed on an after school special called "toothpaste" in mission, Texas. The director was Ben younger, (he was the director of boiler room.) director of photography was Guillermo Navarro (hell boy, spy kids, and the devils backbone.) i wasn’t the producer so i don’t know if the title has changed. But i do know it’s supposed to come out on show time or mtv or ifc, soon. Last august i keyed in a film called harvest of redemption; it's making its way through film festivals soon. And now I’m producing a film called lycan rising. It’s about werewolves. The trailer was shot on a zero budget with equipment and make up we found around the house. But it was enough for the investors to see it's potential. I’ve secured about a hundred grand to shoot it so far. Still need another hundred before it is fully funded. It is slated to shoot next august. Mean while i manage an art gallery. And shoot local commercials to get by.

You know, I've always wondered where the money comes from for producing... is it your own pocket? or all loans? or both? Or is it like silent partners?

unless you are filthy rich, you try not to use your own money. if your project tanks or is delayed, it'll ruin your potential to continue or make another film. i suggest finding private investors and maybe partially funding it yourself. also, selling out is a good way to make a movie. through product placement, and sponsers. the only other time i'd suggest funding it all by yourself is if the project allows you to do it for less than 50 grand. i have never worked for a studio, so i dont know how they do it. they probably use company recources.

you could always try the Kevin Smith approach with credit cards Back to the original topic, just saw the full length trailer for Episode 3. Looks like another lackluster craptacular Lucas production.
