I just realised that Attack of the Clones is the only Star Wars movie I've ever seen only once. Even Phantom Menace got a few viewings. Poor, poor Lucas...

Poor Lucas? Poor us for having to suffer thru it, waiting with hopes that it might turn into a decent flick at it progressed

I'm not a star wars fan and I haven't seen all the movies, so I'm just going to focus on one point that does bug me.
What in the world possessed Mr. Lucas to create the mitochlorians ( I know I probable spelled it incorrectly).
Completely quantifying a persons ability to tap into the force reduces the feel of there being a mystic duality between "light" and "dark" throughout the SW universe and all the life within it, that characterizes the earlier movies.

Two words: [glow=red,2,300]Cheap Crack![/glow] Mitichlorians are just one of a long list of bonehead ideas from Episode 1 that start with the title itself and continue to pop up until the final credits

And the title-ization isn't a new developmemnt...
"A New Hope"... "The Empire Strikes Back"... "Return of the Jedi"...
Let's hope it's done with 6. Let Lucasarts licenses give him money. He'll be richer if he doesn't add anything new himself.

It has an excellent story and none of GL'sinsane prequel influences. But of course Lucas would never okay that unless he was given opportunity to multilate it as he saw fit, and ruin one of the best ESWU storyarcs. And for some reason, I have high hopes for the proposed SW TV series for the 2006 schedule. Probly because it's been hinted that Kevin Smith will be involved, and he hasn't denied it .

I seem to remember, when I was six, liking Star Wars cause it was all 'Grown up'.
Which really means that Lucas believes if he panders to the Jeuveniles now who have their parent's money, when they temselves are adults, they'll still like this jeuvenile stuff. And will suck it up... *shrugs* worked for Star Trek.

I never said that Lucas wasn't a marketing genius. There is such thing as an idiot savant, and his latest films are proof.
And you had to bring up Star Trash....

Even with the space cowboy aspect of the dead generation, the techno-babble of the next generation, and the number of small things I disliked about DS9, I liked those shows as a whole. I am glad that they existed.
With Voyager, I would almost be happier if it hadn't existed, and I defiantly would be happier if Enterprise hadn't. There is, in fact only one episode of Enterprise that I'm glad exists. Its the one where the head engineer, Tucker, gets a brain injury that makes him a vegetable and the crew need him to fix something or they will be destroyed. They use an illegal technology to make a quick clone of him, which is going to die after a very short time anyway, which they're going to have to kill to get a brain part to fix the original engineer.
The Star Wars conversation may continue now that I've had my anti-Enterprise rant of the week.
