Cap catches a glimpse of something moving quickly, in the darkness it was hard to make out, but it was big whatever it was before it disappeared behind the next building. definitely it was no polar bear, not unless they walked upright.
Tabitha has set herself a slow plodding pace, but was moving steadily away.

" Why, so you can chide me over trivial belongings some more?" Tabitha replied, turning around but not stopping. " Look, I'm nineteen years old, and I've had to watch out for myself for the last five because my home is a war zone. I think I handle a walk through the snow.
A cresent moon was just starting to rise, giving just enough light that Steve caught sight of something moving away on the tundra quickly.

Tabitha turned in the direction indicated, but the form had changed directions, using Cap's calls as a distraction. Hearing another noise, she turned her back on Cap and then let out of a shreik of suprise.
It was followed by a large tailed form leaping up into the moonlight to crash down on Ghostsabre and flatten her. A chilling wail escaped her attacker...
"Wendigo!"

The monster rolled to the side in plenty of time to avoid Cap's errant shield but to his dismay, Tabitha was just getting to her feet in it's path. The shield made the distinctive sound it made when it struck something metal before ricocheting back toward him. " Hey watch it!" Tabitha bellowed, but sounded annoyed rather than hurt. The creature was unsure with two targets, "Wendigo it bellowed again before throwing itself at the closer Tabitha.

The kick was enough to get the creature's attention, causing it's head to snap around towards Cap and snarl " Wendigo".
Tabitha grabbed the opportunity and through a kick towards the Wendigo's midsection, but the creature was expecting it and seized her foot and slung her at Cap by the foot. Tab tucked into a ball and passed straight through Captian America before rolling to stop.
"Wendigo?" the demonspawn seemed confused, hesitating by Tabitha's actions.
She got back to her feet a few steps behind Captain America. " He's strong. I don't know if I can stand up to him for long. I hope you have a plan."
Wendigo was already advancing.

1d20+7, 1d20+4, 5d6=[20, 7], [15, 4], [4, 6, 1, 4, 1] the Wendigo swatted Cap's attack aside with ease, then charged forward with a howl, it's sights on Tabitha. " You better let me in on it then. I'll keep him distracted." She merely let it come, and then met him head on with a forward moving shoulder. Both made an "oomph" as they came together. (simult attacks) 1d20+4, 1d4+25=[8, 4], [1, 25]

"A slugout won't work - we're both tired and the Wendigo is a Hulk-category threat. We'll need to find a way to immobilize the creature." Captain America balances on his hands and swings his entire body out to try and trip the Wendigo. 1d100=53, 1d20+7=11 (53% on sense of balance to swing out, and 11 to strike with a leg sweep attack)

Cap's trip attack wouldn't have worked if Ghostsabre hadn't been circling , causing Wendigo to be distracted. the beast went down hard, and Tabitha immediately leapt on him, try to pin him down. Despite her heavy metallic form, Wendigo tossed her aside easily and started to get back up.

Tabitha looked like she was going to argue before answering," allright. Be careful Captain." she started towards the town, her spped doubling as she reverted to her normal form.
" wendiGO!" snarled the beast, once again getting to its feet. It looked at Cap then shifted it's attention to Tabitha's withdrawel. It bared it's fangs" wenDIgo" As it advanced, Wendigo's intentions were clearly to go through Cap
