"Well, I suppose, sure." The clerk said. "You got a datachip? Or a forwarding e-mail? Any other catalogues you want? We're having a sale, right now, if you want." He points to a sign showing discounts for certain order volumes and companies.
Jessica
"I'm retiring soon, sweetie." Said the older woman. "Odds are, before you get the custom work to me. Unless you have something you can hand over now, I'm going to have to pass on these nest eggs."
Xavier/Mensk
The pair are seated at a table, with Xavier waiting for Mensk to talk to him.
Foreman
Tawfeek stood next to Foreman at the bar. "I swear, there were women dancing here last time I came."

" Uhh, yeah, I do." McKenna dug into her purse and came out with both a datachip and one of her old business cards. Taking out a pen, she scratched out her old work address, but there was still a public freelink address on it she could access from any starport with her shipboard terminal. " Put it all on that chip then. I'll have a look back on board. Thanks." she smiled plesantly to the clerk.

Jessica smiles in an 'Aw, shucks' kind of way. "Unfortunately, I didn't bring anything with me, as I wasn't expecting to have to trade any of my products. If it's all right with you, I'll take the box of parts now and I can head back to the ship to see what I have laying around and come back. If you give me some kind of an idea of what you are interested in, it would help narrow things down."

"To be honest I am not sure. I just usually when I come here order the house beer on tap and that seems to satisfy me!" Xavier responds to the person in front of him. "By the way the name is Xavier." As he puts out his hand for the greeting.

"Say what line of work are you into?" he asked hoping to find some sort common ground.

All that convoluted stuff to say she could access her old work address through the web, huh? "Alright." Said the clerk, and slid the chip in to give it a try. "Come this way often?"

"Simple. First, the Earth colony centre in Texas, then Mars. We'll see after that."Tawfeek said.
Mensk/Xavier

Raising an eyebrow, she asks "You never answered my question about a possible trade? I'm sure I have something on my ship that you might be interested in, if you give me an idea of something you are looking for."

"Um sports, never been a huge fan of watching them, I mean I do not mind but never been an all time favorite of mine. And for engineering qualifications, yes I have plenty of those. Anything specific you would like to know?"

"Same reason as you, I guess." Tawfeek says, taking a small swig of his beer. "Needed the income. Plus, more freedom in the Galaxy. Why aren't you still in the military?"
