After another day's flight, the group find themselves at Carson Weigh: a fairly large transport ship converted into a space hotel and garage. A couple of other ships the size of the Galaxy were already moored, getting repairs done (visible by the dancing lights of the workers.
As the crew approached, they saw the ship was old, and scuffed, if a mile-long craft can look like that. Its engines were long-ago decomissioned and turned into power plants, and here and there, were signs of post-manufacture additions.
Once docked, the crew made their way into a nicely-appointed, though spartan waiting area in the station's airlock. There, they were greeted by a youngish woman. "Hello and welcome!" She says. "Captain Tawfeek says you need to get some rest while the engines are welded back together, so come on in."
As she walks them to their quarters - kind of dorm-style, 10 rooms around a central living-eating area. Only their crew was in that dorm. All the area was clean and simple, nice carpets, paintings, etc. - she explains there is a small park, a couple of clubs (which are usually emptier than they'ld like, but still, a safe place to drink and dance), and a couple of VR suites they purchased from the Moon (you know, super-ace quality). The facilities are fully paid for and they have access to whatever isn't already in use.
"... any questions?" She asks.
