McKenna hesitated a moment longer, then when Jessica didn't give her any indication she should wait, she turned to the clerk," Yeah, I think I will try it on, but I need something to wear... oooh, " she pointed to a pair of black leather high cut boots, " a pair of those in size six would be perfect." She said before ducking into the changing room with the outfit.
After a moment, she stepped back out, wearing the little red dress. she looked at herself in the mirror before calling to Stephens," Hey, Jess. what do you think?" she smirked, having already made her mind up.

Glancing at the woman, Jess replies "It's not my fault the only thing that got my lack of interest through their thick skulls was a glass of beer being poured over their head. They really should learn to understand that no means no and not 'Keep trying and I'll change my mind'"
Jessica shrugs at McKenna as she replies "You've obviously made up your mind in regards to what you think from the smirk on your face. It's fine."

Tawfeek got himself a drink and went to one of the tables on the wall, sitting down, and started just looking around.

McKenna gave Jessica an odd look at her reply, then headed back to the changing room. She came back out and decided to see what else she could find. Whatever was going on with Jess wasn't her business, she figured that much out.

Jessica raises an eyebrow at McKenna's odd look, but figures McKenna would talk to her about it if she wanted to. Turning back to the shop owner, she replies "A little of both, really. Just wondering any new toys have arrived." She grins as she then adds "Plus it never hurts to look good while I'm working."

Xavier had gotten message from a Captain Tawfeek about a job opportunity needing a second engineer on his ship. Since he was already at Carson Weigh, it made sense to check in on it. Waiting at the Romper room, Xavier saw Tawfeek head in with a couple other men. Tawfeek went to a table out of the way.
Foreman and Mensk will see Xavier, and if he takes any action around Tawfeek.

Xavier waits in the room at the at ease position and awaits for the captain to speak first. He has prepared mentally in his head for any question the captain has asked and steels himself against the excitement flowing through his body.

Jessica calls to McKenna "I'll be back shortly." She then heads off with the older woman into the back room to look at whatever she may have.

Foreman and Mensk see a bar waitress come up to them. "Can I get you two anything?"

As McKenna gets the boots, Jessica goes into the back.
In the back is a small room with a very heavy door. "I should warn you, I've faced cutbacks." Says the older shop-keep. Inside is a list of light and medium infantry weapons, like handguns and rifles, including ceramic version (safe within a ship), and full-damage versions. "I do have these." She points to a box of parts and tools. "Second hand, but I don't need them these days. Oh, and this." She pulls out a strong box that she unlocks and opens to show a pair of ion guns.

"No sir, sitting is fine!" Xavier walks over and takes a seat. "I am happy that you would make time to see me sir!"
Xavier takes a quick scan of the room to see exactly what is in here seeing the captain and two other individuals!

" Okay. I'll be here or in one of the shops next door." McKenna called back before turning her attention to the clerk and the boots. She tried one on, then looked in the mirror. " These should work. I'll take them too." she told the clerk.
